Hi. Im new and im having some compatibility issues with the Android SDK. I open it up, and the window that opens closes out immediately. On its own. I troubleshoot compatibility with Windows' assistance, but i havent received the results of the error report i submitted, and windows wouldnt tell me which program it was incompatible with. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.

I am sorry if this has been asked before, i have a rather simple question. Tried searching all over forum, to no avail. Windows Mobile noob here, at least when it comes to VS programming / debugging...
Is there anything in WinCE that is similar to crash log, or error report, similar to starting a windows application from command line, and if it crashes you get some error message?!?
I am not thinking full debugging here, just a simple error log, to see if a file is missing or any useful error information really... Thing is that i have these few WM applications that im trying to port to work on specific ROM, and i come to the moment when i start them, some just crash, or does not start at all, without any error message.
On any normal OS (read: non-Windows), one would go to command line, execute an application and check if there is any error. Is there any equivalent to this on WM?
how does one debug things on this platform for god's sake?
I wonder if anyone can help me figure out why I can't send xaps to my Focus. I get a message saying phone not connected, when it's recognized bu Zune. I tried to sideload a xap today, and got that message. I recently had to get a new PC, and it id 64 bit, unlike the 32 that I had setup and had everything working on. Could it be that I need something I don't have that will make my phone connect? I haven't been able to sideload since the new 64 bit . Any ideas would be appreciated!
PS, I'm running Mirogs 1.3.

I think Miro accidentally unchecked "max unsigned apps" in that build. Please check the rom thread...
Will do. Thanks.
I am still having problems connecting. I installed Voluptuary's ROM, and still can't sideload xap's from the PC. I can install them by QR code, but not from the Xap installer. Any ideas?
Well, I installed the xaphandler, which works great! No current need for pc xap install...
Hello all!
I just aquired a Find 5 and found it to be Rooted with PacRom installed. When I plugged it into my Windows 8 PC via the OEM cable, I couldn't get it to be recognized. I've downloaded drivers from Oppo and tried a few other suggestions in the Find 5 section here, but I can't seem to get the two to talk to each other. Does anyone have any instructions or help for me to get a connection? I'm at my wits end here.
Thanks in advance!
Update: Okay, it will acknowledge that it's present when I go into "Control Pannel>Device Manager", but I still can't transfer any files to or from it. What's the remaining piece of the puzzle I'm missing?

I had the same problem and the solution for me was to download the Google driver with its SDK Manager and install manually the drivers from the Device Manager window... but I'm on a Windows 7!!!

From today onwards i decided to start with Android App Development,
So i started following some Android App Dev courses,
but while configuring "ADT" i encountered few problems, listed below:
The "Android SDK Manager" doesn't opens up, it only pop ups a loading box and then it never appears,
I tried using editing the android.bat file, doesn't works for me!
Also, The Android Virtual device is not working, when i try to make a virtual device,
Even after entering all necessary parameters, the "OK" button is still greyed/disabled.
Using:
Windows 8.1, JAVA RE 7, Update 71 (both 32 and 64bits)
Please help
