I was wondering since HD2 Android is almost being fully ported (well close enough for my taste at least) and since people got android onto NAND on the HTC Vogue, I was really curious as to when it might be turned into a rom for the HD2, if there is a way to install both Winmo and Android onto the same NAND and then dual boot them. I guess it would be wise to ask if it's even possible on the Vogue currently?
Again a silly question that has been asked 10000 times ! First of all please ask questions in the "Q and A"thread not in general thread ! for gods sake ! Please ! Nand is not possible now ! cotulla told that he will put android to nand after september ! so please wait till then ! once it is ported ! it will take months to get it own drivers or maybe an year ! peace out !

Dude, you really need to calm down. You probably just saw my thread and just decided what to post at that point because you didn't answer anything I asked. What I asked was ONCE android can be put on NAND, ONCE it can be put on NAND, if it's possible to install winmo and android onto the same nand and dual boot them from there so that they are both smooth operating. I would really like it if some people on here took their time to be calm and rational about this instead of flaming.

and once again the arrogance of some XDA members shines through.
anyhow, to be honest i havent a clue, but purely speculation i cant see why not, even if it means loading WM first then going to android. Less likely is the possibility of a true bootloader that gives you the choice before WM loads.
of course a hard reset would delete it unless you could build it in to a WM ROM somehow.
who knows hay! just need to wait and see!

personally man I think its a troll, I'm guessing you saw the youtube vid and clicked on the link like I did and took a survey to download the files. I'm guessing its fake to make you think it works so ppl would take the survey and make them money. I could be wrong but, I think the ppl from that blog Trolled the crap out of alot of ppl ( myself included)

There is no usable android for hd2 yet. And don't expect a version that works as good as an android phone for a long, long time... if ever. If you want android as your daily full-time phone os, you need an android phone.

i asume u are asking about flashing the cooked roms
for the same u need to first root ur phone their are many stikies on the same
but i have used the 1Click by maverik and it worked for me and yes u do have the risk of loosing ur warranty if u do a root but then u can first creat a gold card and them do the root( i dont know how to do this u need to read on the same ) or u can look for ur orignal rom and save it on ur pc and flash the same if u want to give ur phone for warranty that is what i have done i have the original asia rom with me and i will flash the same wen i need to give my phone for warranty issue i hope this is detail enough

Just a question here:
I have installed Android on my Touch Pro 2, which I can start as a Windows Mobile software and then use as Android of you understand what I mean. I installed the .CAB file and it boots from the Micro SD. Does the software you are talking about work the same, and if so, is there a location where I can download such a .cab file for the HD2?

Okay, so when NAND is available, We cant just flash away with our happy phones in the air because there will will no ROM to flash on to it....am i wrong?.....i probably am.
ciervo I think you're right and i don't get why people are so excited since I have yet to see a Android build that is 100% functional. there is no point flashing if we don't have a build that runs as it is supposed to.
It is much more convenient at the moment to run these builds from the sd card.

So when running android from NAND is possible the won't be any rom.
Same thing is going to happen with WP7! if they can get it running on the HD2 already. So also I don't know why everyone is so excited .

try to flash another rom to see if the probleme still exist and if so try to revert to wm ...there's a lot of problemes that exist only in android... give it some time
I got an idea...
We should all post about the OP posting in the wrong section...
Which means we are all posting off-topic posts in the DEV area...

We have all been newbs, yes, but is it that hard to check all of the main threads of the htc hd2 before posting ? If a person knows how to make a topic, he also knows how to read one..

I used to have the same issue.
Your phone is broken all u can do is to keep it from overheating by underclocking it and only use for short duration of time when using high intensity applications.
I had to get a replacement bc it used to shut down on me at least once a day and then I had to wait for it to cool down before being able to reboot it and use it.
So either try to get a replacement and if you cant just sell it.
