Ok i used Duttys Disable Current Location cab to get rid of my location but its still showing up on the home screen but not under weather.. does anyone know how to change this so the city i have the weather set up for actually shows on the home screen..????

Press the clock on the Home Tab to get to the World Clock. Select your city. Your Home Tab should now show the weather of the city, rather than My Location.

I have my Weather tab in TouchFlo set to my local area (Torbay) and when I go to that tab that is what I get (plus any other towns/areas that I add). In the Calendar however the weather that shows for each day is always for London, even when my only weather location set in the Weather application is set to Torbay.
When I first got my TD2 I thought I had an option to set the 'default' weather location if I was using more than one town/area, but perhaps I imagined that because I cannot find it now!
Does anyone now how I get my calendar to show the same weather area (for me 'Torbay'), in both the Calendar and the Weather application?
I think it's using the first weather location as default. Try changing the order in the weather tab.

If add personal city to the weather plus then he I'm to displayed in the calendar, unfortunately me at this way added cities disagrees time GMT

Thanks very much for that, been searching for ages until I stumbled across your post
Just wondering; When i is on Home in TF3D i can see the weather on the flip-clock.
If i go to programs and back to Home,then the weather goes over the whole screen for a few seconds,and it looks nice!
But if i go from Home to Contacts,Mail or something else and back to Home,it is just an image on the clock about the weather.
No clouds or rain is moving across the screen...
It is not so important but it would be very nice if i could get the weather animation to move across the screen EVERYTIME i go to Home.
Anyone else have the same as me?
I just saw that animation once, yesterday. I cant get it to work anymore.

Try this, sync your weather, select clock from home tab and set your location to your city, not "My Location" then go to settings tab and choose weather wallpaper. Should work.

This option appears only in 6.5 ? I can't find it in 6.1 (will upgrade asap but wanted to try it beforehand ).

Dont work for me..
I only get the animation if i go to programs and then home again,or if i hit the end call-button several times..
If i sweep my finger to for example sms,mail and back to home its only a small pic of the weather on the clock and no animation.
And on my setting tab it is no weather wallpaper....only the default htc black and the others..

i am sorry, if this topic is already discussed anywhere.
But searching the web and the forum didn't help me out.
My question is if there is an easy way to disable the weather part on the today screen of touchFlo 3d on my WM6.5 Topaz?
To be more specific:
I already disabled weather tab and didn't renew weather information for 2 weeks now, but the today screen still shows the weather :-(.
I like the rest of TouchFlo 3D so any hints?

just change your wallpaper, it works only with the default one.
Are you sure that the weather is not updated automatically? just to make sure, enable the weather Tab and check the settings from there.
I personaly do use the weather, but for you, I would suggest you try the deleting all cities from the weather tab, disable my location then add your city from the clock settings and choose it as your default city.

I can't add the city where I'm on the weather tabs.
I can add all other available cities except the one where I'm curently.
Will try this week end if it's working from an other place far away.
How to add other cities, weather database editor is not working on Touch2?
It didnt work on mine too. So you cant. The only way is to put original ROM on the phone with the weather fix from HTC site, that will do the job.
But first you need to do HSPL on the phone if its not original HTC one.

Glad i can help mate Dont forget only one thing - after you put the weather fix, it still wont let you put new city in weather tab, but at least if you update via Home Screen it will show you the real location (where you are at the moment).
Still not working.
My city is on the liste but each time I try to add it even at an other location, it won't work. Other swiss cities are working.
Look, when you are out of your town and you Update the weather on Home Screen, it wont show you your town, but the town you are at the same moment.
Seems you didn't understand. the title is clear "I can't add the city where I'm on the weather tabs"
I'm not speaking on weather on home screen, but on weather on weather tabs.
The problem is that my city, available on the list on weather tabs won't work.
When you add a city on weather tabs, a new weather window open and the number of available weather's tabs increase. When I add Genève on the list, nothing happen but other cities like Lausanne are working. I've also a problem wiht Barcelona who is created but won't update.

As far as I can tell, like all of HTC's so called updates for the Mega, the weather update does f*** all. Seriously, they've removed the mp3 ringtone "update" so even they must acknowledge that they arent working.

Both cities are working fine & updating too...
But I'm on custom ROM...
i installed cookies home tab editor on my hd2 and my weather animation wallpaer wont work. Asking if anyone knows how to get it back, thanks alot

use one of your quicklink spots to add the weather animation toggle. Turn on weather animation, then you can delete the quicklink.
my weather toggle does not work as well

Hi i have the same problem as you have described, but all i can seem to find is how to disable it and not how to get it back.
I have looked in the windows folder under animated wallpapers and i cannot find the weather one there and i am wondering if maybe it got deleted? and if so is there anywhere that i can download a copy of the file from?
Just add weather icon on home screen tabs. It will appear.
go to hkcu/software/htc/manilla/home.wallpapermode and change value to 0. that will re-enable weather animation on your home tab. set to 1 and it will disable weather animation...
You just need to tap on any empty quick link tap > it will bring you to another window > tap on Toggle Switch > tap on Wealther Toggle . When u see the Wealther Toggle just tap on to it to Toggle between " On or Off "
