After i restores my phone 2 time and some thing wrong with that.. my phone can't start again... when you press power bottom, you just see a logo of sony ericsson and never go... it stop right there.... somebody know how to fix it please help me... i just buy it for 2 days and can't use it
Sounds like the battery needs to be charged.
Try this and then turn it on.(about 8 hrs)

Try hard reset the device using SE Update Service
..
reflash it via seus or download an official rom suited for you and flash it directly without seus

dude go to sony ericsson's site and just normally update ur phone as told it will solve ur problem!

Hello there!
I got a display problem with my x8 Yesterday it was all good, but this morning my x8 got "black" screen.. like its damaged.. It not really black, more like "darker" screen, i can only see white letters..cant play games or anything because of that darkness.. Is there any app or something to fix this? If i understood correctly, some guys have same problem but on HTC etc.. not on x8, its something about voltage?!.. Please help me out!
PS: Sorry if there was a similar thread as mine, i used search but like i said, none of topics are for xperia x8!
Need more info.. That happens only when you are using the phone, or when you go to xrecovery/boot your phone too?
Try to adjust brightness, if that cannot help, reflash fw with SEUS

Ehm mora info..well screen is dark all the time..what ever i do on my phone, its dark..
@Benjoy Ericsson: Well 1st thing i tried was adjusting the brithness, but didnt help.. Maybe some tutorial bout flashing? Thats my first android/smartphone..so dont wanna crash it

I was thinking about that too, but in my country warranty means sh*t.. so i would have to pay anyway, because its allways "users fault".. dont have money atm..
hei.. its happen to my X8 too,, but just one.... its cause by failed restoring backup with xrecovery[in my case i thought, dont know for sure.. ],,, i restoring it for 3 times over and over with no stop.. then the screen just darker than usuall, my last try, i just flash it with flash tool with origin firmware find here,, and back to normal...
and 5 menit latter,, i just flash it again.. restoring my backup,,
anyways.. if its doesnt succes,, bring to SE,, and good luck.

Okay i screw it up now and my xperia x8 is broke because it wont boot up and when i try to fix it with Se update service i keeps telling its failing and i think its because i have to little battery power left and when i try to charge my phone nothings happening so i need help fast to fix this problem

Try flash with flashtool.
Or lend an another battery than try again...
Nothing else comes to mind...

yes i have xRecovery but my phone just vibrates when you try to start it

Hi everyone.
I got this phone on my birthday 4 months ago.
Over this time, i did everything but mess around with roms.
I installed xrecovery a few weeks ago.
And now i got this black screen (if you haven't seen it, it's that screen with the Sony Ericsson printed without the green circle).
And I must point out that i forgot to install the PC Companion before that happened.
So, now it's just stuck, idk what to do,I tried the flash mode but it says the driver can't be installed.
Any help,tips?
P.S. Please give me a link with the 2.1 version if possible, i don't know where to get the right one (for the X8)

Hi, DON'T WORRY IT'S ALL RIGHT. EVERYTHING WILL BE OK
Just go to the Se official Website and download X8 Pc driver,
if you can see the white SONY ERICSSON when you boot, everything will be ok.
now, follow these steps.
a. Download x8 PC driver on their official website. Google SE... and you will find that page.
b. Install and open it.
c. Click SUPPORT ZONE, and click UPDATE SERVICE.
d. Click REPAIR PHONE
e. Follow Update Service's giving tips and you will fix it.
The first boot may takes you about five minutes. Don't take down the battery. Or you will be crazy...
You can fix your phone with US without turning on your phone, enjoy

Umm, try re-installing pc companion. Before i tried flashing all this custom stuff on my phone, me, being a curious idiot, played around with the x8 and dicovered SE had already put pc companion in my phone, all i had to do was install it in the autorun menu. Also, try rebooting yr modem. It may be a long shot but hey, you'd never know...

Hello i bricked my phone for 5-6 time and this time i was installing a custom rom and I mistakly unmouted cache now it wont start recovery menu...not turning on and in odin it wont be recognized...i did dat once and i gived it in service they gived me back today and it was the samo problem...i dont have a excuse to give it again because they dont acept rom bricking for reparature they acept only if virus atack and "delite" somthing importmant or it just turns off and wont start so they were shure there was a virus that atacked my phone thet took my sd and chek it i put a virus small one and they send it in service...Now i got it back and made to brick it before even check if my new mask is looking good on it...so please help i can't send it becaus they will notice i did it and mot the phone...so please help....for the one that try to help and help THANKS! and there might be som gramer mistateks because i am from serbia and I am not that good in class...

For odin to be able to recognise your phone, install samsung drivers for mobile phones on your pc, boot in download mode and connect your phone. See if it detects or not.

android is linux,

it has malware, adware, nagware, spyware, phishing and kernel panic attacks
I am trying to download a firmware like this one but the site always respond an error. I tried other files too but the result is the same. This is happening to you too ? It was working yesterday morning but after 10 minutes the download stopped and the site is not working since then. Can anyone try to download this file, so i can see that that's not me?
