Yeah, I know what you mean. There's always one f***wit with too much money to care about anything. It hurt 'cos most of us saved up to get our "baby" and we treasure it!
Tough phone though, even after a few blows it still mocked him, that metal frame is hard to destroy

LOL, wouldn't surprise me

Fail for software issue. Re-flash was what could have saved the beautiful device. Shipped ROM was slow and unresponsive, so I could see where I would have wanted to MAYBE smash mine if I was so inclined.

So what was the problem with the phone?
He was to incompetent to use it so it angered him?
He had to show the phone who's boss since obviously it was more competent than himself.

your SSN? thats kinda dumb... i'd never engrave that on anything, except my bike rims that were $1,000 each... its engraved on the inside under the tire
but not on a phone... i thought about just gettin SLATER, but thats too simple so i started lookin for quotes, and im poor and sometimes evil so i figured that quote fits me

Not SSN. lol I'm not an idiot. My SN (Screen Name). I had a mind blank the moment I saw I could engrave it, and the wife said "just use your name and screen name".
On another note, I wish we could've engraved images instead of letters. . . :-\

Yeah it sucks. I have insurance, but i'm guessing because the phone is so new, I made a claim but I have to fax them information and do all this extra stuff. I never had to do this when I made a claim with the TP2.

Ouch, I'm known to do that sometimes leave me phone on my lap and get up out the car. Luckily I normally have some full body protection and a screen guard on my phone.

Looks like it still works though.

yeah I have a screen protector coming, will get here today (a bit too late lol). I am looking for a case, im picky when it comes to those. Not much out right now other than a limited ebay picking and the one from verizon. Which I just now found out they make in a clear color, looks like I will have one for my replacement...

I have the body glove and zagg screen, and as sad as this is to say I have actually drooped mine twice and you can't even tell. It still looks fresh outta the box. Good luck with the replacement to from what I've heard VZW is still sold out.

I bought the silicone cover from Verizon, I have not dropped my phone yet hopefully it protects the phone if I drop it.
Hopefully Otterbox will make one for this phone like the one for the iphone.

Unless you're a shop owner, it looks like that to me

I prefer to steal defect phones too. Why steal good ones if you can get some with damage.
Then of course don´t forget to take a picture and put it on a frequently visited site. ;-)

Hmm, auction them off for parts, strip em down, sell on ebay.

Maybe I will find an easy way to post pictures later, but do NOT take a hammer to your vibrant (because it has survived this long under UNintentional abuse) and hit it with a hammer and expect it to work afterwards. It probably won't. No matter how drunk you are. And regardless of how much you paid cash for your phone. Cash.
I am guessing no-one will warranty what a picture would show. Gorilla glass or not, do NOT hit it with a hammer to show how much more resilient it is vs. dumb phone. It is NOT that resilient. Learn from my mistakes. Seriously.

Edit: I have a few extra batteries laying around, but what do you want to bet it isn't the dented battery that keeps it from booting or making a sound? I'll bet you 500 bux(what it cost when it was new) it isn't the battery..
