Hi.
I've got either lcd backlit or from buttons light leakage.
Is there any way to disable buttons backlight?
Thanks.

Is there any way to adjust it? I use screen filter at night, or when I have a headache, but I can't see past the damn buttons.
On the Moment, you could change the keyboard lighting time-out and they would only light up if touched, but I don't see an option here.
I just want them to shut off after a few seconds.
EDIT: if you uncheck the dim backlight box on screen filter, it will shut themoff altogether, along with the keyboard.

They seem to be fading from the constant clicking.
Is there a way to bring the brightness of my buttons back? Replacing the lights under them would fix it I'm assuming?
Thanks in advanced.

Hi team/users,
Any one more then me that want to turn off the led lights between the front buttons? I wish i had the skills to do that but i dont. Do you? Or is there a x10 fix that might work on the arc to? I do love everything about the Arc, everything except the led.

Thread on the front LEDs running over here Led notifications
Ok, i guess that if we are able to manage the front LEDS for notification in the future we also are able to get a "turn them off" function.
I thought that at least some members should confirm that this is a necessary function!?
At daylight this is no issue, but it is in a low light condition... almost hurt my eyes.
Anyone found a way yet? I am desperate too. I might use coloured wax and melt a but on those two lights to reduce brightness

Enter this command in ADB, you can control the LEDs immediately:
echo 0 > /sys/class/leds/button-backlight/brightness
echo 0 : turns off.
echo 255: turns on with max brightness.
With the simple command, maybe you can write a application to control them.

Screen filter has an option to disable backlights, but it doesn't work for all phones (on sgs it doesn't).
hi,noticed today on only 30-50 percent brightness if i go to messaging app and then press back if you watch carefully the brightness lowered/display flickers for half second like its on autobrightness or something only on 30-50. software issue? or bad unit?as the time passes this problem gonna be worse?return it?
another thing if you put a finger on front camera and then press power button its turn display on and off by itself.
is it all software issues or its my unit?i have the phone for month.stock unrooted.no complains here.

Yes Keep it on 60% auto.
It's a feature the phone turn the screen off automatically if you hit the power by mistake while the phone in your pocket, that's why if you hide the sensor and turn the phone on,directly it will switch off the screen.
but its not not on auto why its kind flickers in this percent?software issue?
