I am running netarchy's deodexed zip aligned final and just confirmed I was able to use the Software Updates to go from 60668 to 60669 PRL update.

as the OTA updates will take root from you they are disabled from (almost?) all private releases.

I did research, but I had over 10 different people telling me different things.
I know it will take the root I am not caring about that, I just want to know if I will be able to GET THE OTA. OR Will i have to downgrade to a Default RC33 with no root.
Install an official, unmodified, T-Mo (or other carrier) ROM and you will get OTA updates. Install any of the modified ROMS or an ADP ROM and you will not get OTA updates.
It has to do with the keys used to sign the ROM.
Just saw that FRF85B just got released and is being pushed to some N1's.
I am looking to see of any developers have created a cooked version of the update that we could all flash on our rooted N1's.

Sure, XDADevelopers has had an unofficial fix for a few days, but we understand your hesitation -- installing custom firmware is how you got burned in the first place. Thankfully for you, HTC is now beaming the official EVO 4G patch over the airwaves, which updates your tainted 3.26.561.3 dairy dessert to a more toothsome 3.26.561.6. Just scoot on over to Settings > System Updates and invoke the download -- assuming Sprint is being nice in your area -- or wait it out and your handset might even update itself.

We can get OTA from http:/android.clients.google.com/packages/ota/kt_passion/e53435687ea4.OTA_Passion_KT_KR_3.02.1010.1_R-2.18.1010.4_FRG83_release_signed.zip. This OTA is a patch from Korean 2.2.1 update. You can get korean 2.2.1 passimg from http:/dlunch.net/2.2.1.zip
I manually patched some files(using bsdiff), and found some different proprietary files from T-mobile OTA. I have uploaded some files to http:/dlunch.net/proprietary.zip
