I've been looking for a ROM that has a working trackball light for almost a week now and cant seem to find one anywhere. I have a magic 32B. Id prefer an eclair or froyo rom. Do any have this feature working? I know most dont because they are based off CM and he hasnt gotten it working in CM5 or 6 yet.

Id hate to double post, but I know that it works in CM4, is there any way that I could find that LED controlling file and put it in cm5 or 6? could someone help me find that file? i dont have cm4 installed so i cant browse it...

I have an HTC branded Magic with the 32A board.
I looked and couldnt find any info on the base firmware in the myhero rom. go to settings>about phone> and post what firmware it has. Some of the apps in the market arnt working well with 1.6 right now.
This may be a dumb question but are you running apps2sd right now. I know its not supported but you never know.
I am running 1.5, on kernel 2.6.29-myhero.

there is gremote on omarket, but it doesnt support mac. and there is one rom on here topix 1.3 i think is the version i could use but dont wana flash any roms just yet i wanna get everything i can this week and if this fone isnt doing what i need it to do by the end of the week i need to replace it maybe a nexus1

i couldnt find the port link at all, but i heard its absolutely needed to fix the blurry screen that always comes up on the screen on the MLIGN rom. is that true?

hey everybody.
ive been having some issues installing roms from coredroid i have tried their desire 2.3 rom and it was soo slow soo soo slow i had to get rid of it. not sure why.
now i installed the froyo rom and the rom is working like a pro but i have no keyboard no keyboard shows up after installation.
i followed their install instructions step by step by step just need to know what is going on whether its the desire or the froyo it sucks pretty bad for me.

i have been looking around and saw something called miui its been bugging my curiosity so i checked out their website and i guess its a different brand of roms for android. question is what is soo special or unique about them ? and any recommended ones that i can try out maybe ? do let me know i would appreciate the help greatly

keyboard was a problem with v1.7 froyo. you can ask help for it, in rom's thread, because there were some fixes for it. or you can download a keyboard from market.
miui roms have a launcher similar to iphone. they are smaller in size and fast. they have updates every weekend regularly. their backup-restore function is unique. they have many alternative themes and lockscreens.

Yes it seems you are running official LG 2.1 rom. If you wish to update it you can jump directly to any rom you like 2.2 2.3 or 4.0 . Just follow this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1224747
