Hi there, I need to change te Language of an italian hd2 to english, I think the fastest way is to flash a stock english rom, I tried with the ones in this thread forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=577717 without success..
must I flash a custom rom?
Wich one is more close as possible with the stock rom?

THe HTC PU10 seems to be the same as the HTC Universal, you'll probally get better answears here.

that said, what Lukasnix posted is correct, usually the only way to change language is to reflash the ROM.
I read the tutorial but I think it is different from what I am trying to do.
I have an unprotected ROM of another language (Russian).
I want to use that ROM as a base ROM, and so I require to change it to English language. I also have another ROM which is in English, so maybe I could use some packages/parts from this English ROM to convert the Russian ROM to English?
Is there is a way to do this, or if this has already been answered then can you link me there? (I already tried searching)

I think it would be great if one of the chefs could make a tutorial for converting a rom to wwe. I have tried several times after reading various threads and had no success. Please help us someone...............

If it's really unprotected you can import the rom with OsKitchen and cook it by adding the SYS, MUIs and changing the folders in the app.dat files.

Nope. As far as I know, you need to flash a Portuguese rom. Or become a chef and translate the rom yourself.

I installed a 6.1 ROM, but ROM language is unknown.
I want the language to English ROM would not change.

I am sorry if i am asking a question that is already answerd, but i could't find it in other posts.
I live in The Netherlands so i have a i5800 with the dutch language, if i flash my sga with a custom rom or any other rom for my sga will the dutch language still be available just like in the original rom?

I've just checked on my JPF ROM and yes, the dutch language is available
(it's the JPF ROM from Samfirmware, it's not a custom ROM)

with Rom from Kyrillos, you have many different languages, including Dutch
But there is no lithuanian language...
