Naw they didn't fire him yet, just suspended while they investigate. It's all over the news here in KC. I think they're reconsidering given the backlash that's going on. I still laugh every time I watch the video.

haha no i'm a firefighter.

Well let me start by saying that this video is absolutely hilarious and I have now watched it going on 6+ times now.... and I still laugh my ass off. I in fact am employed by said company. Please dont mistake they are great company to work for and this doesnt sound like the whole truth is being put out there. The only way honestly they would have done this is if the employee violated policy by creating a "bias" video while on company time and using their internet to post this video... IP tracking is a ***** and trust me apple would be the one to find out where this video was posted from. And should it have been posted from a store location owned by the bix box they could essentially be in jeopardy of losing their license to provide apple products. Now if he did this at his house while not on company time yes they are in the wrong and dont stand a chance. But for them to make such a bold stand on this there is more then is being said.. Take my word for it.

I worked as a CSR for AT&T a little while ago. Would never do that again, but I can confirm people like this do exist. "If it's not an iPhone why would I want it!?" Ugh..

I wonder why that happened.
Maybe it's because people have been getting steadily more and more tech savvy over the last couple of years, since the introduction of mainstream smartphones with all carriers.
And, of course, more tech savvy people know that iphone is just a toy.

Clarification: It was #1 in sales for the quarter. Not sure what it's market share is overall, but it's moving fast.

Apple's brainwashing is wearing off and people are realizing the iPhone isn't the best thing since condoms.

Wait, but condoms aren't gre.... errr I see what you did there.

As a self proclaimed techno-geek I can tell you that what grabbed my attention was the "what droid gets" commercials. Those started me on a search for a droid device and I grabbed the EVO on launch day. My contract with Verizon had just expired and even though it was their commercial, I went with Sprint.
Got the wife a Samsung Moment and she is on that thing more than I'm on my EVO

how many android devices can you name that were out this time last year though, these numbers don't mean anything. the hero, moment, droid, eris, incredible, evo, even the backflip are counted as opposed to counting JUST the magic and G1.. really meaningless. if it happens again Q4 this year or later then it will mean everything though.

wow, what's wrong with you?

Since apple lil screw up. And people coming to reality Its newsletters everyday stating how Android is moving up, stating that its more then 200,000 android phones gettting activated a day.
But i think its just people are finally moving up to the tech ages and not basic feature phones.

Bought an Inspire 4G a few days ago and just sold my Epic today for $300. I figure I'm extremely lucky as someone who loves development and has seen it completely die out on the Epic. Farewell and hopefully everyone else can unload their's before it's too late. Goodbye whiny babies and attention-starved developers (the few that are left around here). It was (somewhat) fun while it lasted. Sorry that Samsung is only half as good at phones as it is at televisions.

I somewhat liked that phone too. No support = boring though. We have no decent developers left because the mods here and the ****ty phone owners have run them all off and Samsung's very poor customer support amount to ****. Time to move onto a more user/developer friendly machine. Sorry you're loyalty leaves you in the past.

There has been a whole bunch of new stuff over the past couple weeks, so I apparently am not seeing where the development has become dead.

I for one am really pumped about this forum. Thanks to everyone here I rooted my phone and flashed my first rom. Going to flash my first modem tonight. I think the developers are all quality too. I'm running SRF right now and find it to be nearly flawless. I'm new to all this, and maybe I'm wrong, but a few quality devs seems better to me, as a noob, than trying to weigh through a bunch of potentially crappy ROMs just because a phone is popular. I'm very pleased about my first experience with rooting, and will likely listen closely to the suggestions of people from this forum when its time for a new phone.

I hate being a troll, but I've seen way too many threads like this as of late so here it goes.
OP, In your good bye to us all you do is *****, moan and complain about the developers and Samsung. What did you add to the forum? What did you develop? What help did you provide to other users? Did you spend hours upon hours developing roms, mods, kernels and themes then providing then free of charge to ungrateful blood sucking users like yourself?
A simple "Thanks but it's time for me to move on" would suffice.

That's why it says must have an Ipad to start. It's not misleading because you are getting another "new/reconditioned" iPad as long as yours is still functioning.

You guys think I could do this for an iphone 2g? The phone works but the screen has a couple of small cracks. But the battery does last less than a couple hours.

For the first time ever has some one actually came up to me and said "is that the new Nexus?" I was at the gym last night and some dude on the other side of the place spotted it. ( it's big) Anyways this never happened before using the N5 so it was pretty cool to actually talk to someone and let my geek out explaining all the cool things I can do with the Nexus phones.

The only phones I've had that got attention were the OG Droid(got it launch day, tons of people commented on it the first few weeks), and the Note 2 and 3 for their size. I am expecting the size of the Nexus 6 to get some attention.
