Can somebody please post a Nandroid of the stock 2.2? I am in a bootloop and can't get out of it as I forgot to create a Nandroid Backup.
Thank you in advance.
Got it by reinstalling the FroYo ROM.

follow my guide in the dev section... the first thing you will want to do is follow the downgrade guide also in the dev section and linked in my thread...
WARNING: you will end up unrooting and the guide will help you reroot after forcing the 2.2.1 update

And your problem with that is.....?
To OP.....another useful thing to be aware of are the ezbase roms, which are essentially stock deodexed roms with root, these may be found in Dev section

Just to clarify...a nandroid backup is a complete system image created when you hit the backup button in cwm recovery (a bit like windows restore to a previous working state)

Hello can anyone help me? Im on stock FroYo and wanted to install other gingerbread based custom roms .. So suppose before flashing cyanogenmod 7 I did a full nandroid backup of my FroYo and flashed gingerbread then would I be able to revert back to FroYo by just restoring the FroYo nandroid or i'll have to flash a full sbf?
And if restoring will do.. can anyone tell me how?
Thank you in advance ... newbie here :]

Hey guys, put quick and simply, I can't restore a nandroid backup of a gingerbread rom from september 2010. I've been going back and forth between those builds for months restoring and booting fine, but ever sine i've installed an ICS rom (ASUS stock) I can't restore and boot into my gingerbread ROM... So ultimately my question is ,buy flashing ICS does something change which messes up my Gingerbread?
CWM does not restore the kernel. So if going back to HC via a restore you still have an ICS kernel.
After the restore is done flash the HC ROM you were using to get the correct kernel back in place.

Sorry, a noob question. But I really like some apps in the LG stock rom, is there a way I can get them back after I flashed the CM10.2? Titanium Backup may work, but that thread told us avoid using backup apps.
Any suggestions would help. Thank you.
