This offer was previous on for just a few days before it disappeared. I can't imagine it will be on for much longer.

Samsung have updated their trade-in details to cover people who have recently bought the Galaxy Note 2!
I'm trading in my old S2 for a shiny Galaxy Tab! Saves me selling the S2 on ebay.
Details here:

Other phones can be traded in too.
Pity the N7000 isn't listed as one of the trade-in models
Yeah I noticed this the morning I got mine. Although now because they except more types of phone each phone is valued. For my S2 they would give £170, £180 or £190 discount towards a Tab depending on which one. 7" would then cost £30 after the £170 reduction, I have seen the Tab 2 7" selling new on ebay for £160 and can sell the S2 for over £180 easily (£185 trade in at asda when I was checking).
It might be worth checking with your personal requirements but could be better to do it yourself.
"In case you still haven’t purchased a Galaxy S3, the best-sold Android handset to date and one of Samsung’s 2012 flagship products, you may want to do so tomorrow, as Best Buy is ready to offer you the device for just $49.99.
This isn’t the first time Best Buy is discounting the Galaxy S3, and just like before, the deal will be available for a limited time – in this case just this Sunday.
Naturally, in order to take advantage of the deal, you’ll still have to sign a new two-year agreement with the carrier of your choice – in this case either Verizon, AT&T, Sprint or T-Mobile. What’s worth noticing is that this time around, Best Buy’s Galaxy S3 deal is available with any of the four main U.S. mobile operators.
While Android fans are already talking about the Galaxy S4, the Galaxy S3 is still a great handset and definitely a great Christmas present, despite being just six months old, which is a lot in Android time
Are you buying the Galaxy S3 from Best Buy tomorrow, or are you looking for a different Android Christmas deal?"

Update: T-Mobile White S3 for $49.99 purchase successful
Hello
There is a listing for unlocked/rooted galaxy note 3 phone on swappa.com, and I am very much enticed. I wanted to know if it is OK to buy from swappa.com, and if anyone here has experience with that. Also if the listing mentioned is good enough.
thanks
Swappa is great and the seller has sold nine phones there, so I think you're safe there. I have sold one there myself and it was a very smooth transaction.
The price might be a little high though. I paid $500 for a brand new in a sealed box Sprint Note 3 on Craigslist a few months ago.
Hi. The lowest I can find an AT&T s5 is $559 retail, which I think is a recent price drop after s6 was announced. It is now about $100 lower than original retail. Since I think the s6 will be $699 can I expect much lower retail in next 4 months? Will be paying cash up front--no contract or NEXT plans.
It is my understanding that ideally I want the unlocked T-Mobile version so I can use on AT&T or to get and unlock. Any suggestions on how to get this? I loved the freedom I had with unlocked boot loader and rooted Nexus.
Thank you
Hello Guys,
I am a user of S7 Edge since it got launched. Now it has started to give me troubles so planning to buy another phone.
I can see new S7 edge being sold in Ebay. The new phone is unused and comes in original box so it also raises questions about the Li-ion battery which was sleeping for past 5 years. Is it worth to buy S7 Edge now in 2022?
Please give your suggestions.
Whether it is worth it is a matter of debate. Price and risk must be taken into account. There is no assurance that the device has not been used. The item description does not guarantee it. It may also be refurbished.
If the manufacturer charged the battery to about 40% capacity, it can maintain capacity for 10 years at a constant temperature of up to 23 °C.
