Quick question concerning video capture... - Vibrant General

Can someone doa video comparrison on the vibrant, between video capture to the 16gb built-in ram and video capture to, say, a Class 4 Micro SDHC card?
I just want to see if it is consistent, or if the video quality will degrade\appear less with the use of the slower media?
I would greatly appreciate it, if video could be posted to youtube or someone could attach the actual raw footage to a reply on this thread... but if not, at least a comparrison...

this question doesn't belong in development but in general.

Can an Admin\Mod move it to general? I would greatly appreciate it, and I am very sorry for posting it here.

Moved to General forum. The development forum is only for development threads. (Threads with actual development happening.)
Questions should always be in the General forums (or Q&A if your device has a Q&A forum.)

Dev Work Only Please :)

Does anyone know who the mod is for this forum?
Please keep the posting here for Adam development only. Questions should be posted outside of the Adam Development forum, even if they are about the rooting process and don't fit a root thread. If you are unsure post in general and if necessary we will work to get the thread moved here.
The problem being that non dev posts push everything else down and crowd what will become a very crowded forum.
Thank you for your help, we really appreciate it!!

Was that development? I didn't think so. Lol sorry I had too. You know how flamey these can be so I figured I would flame, then joke, now say I'm sorry.

Why would you post this on the general section? You may want to re word your op, The way you have it now seems like your asking for dev only posts in the general section.

I believe this was originally posted in the dev section regarding the questions that were inappropriately posted there instead of in general, and as this is as inappropriate (not as a post, just being placed in the dev section) as those other posts, this got moved as well, just like the questions.

*News Flash* There is a QUESTION AND ANSWER FORUM.

6 months ago we were finally graced with a Q&A forum. But why the **** is "general" littered with [Q] threads? A total of 8 Q threads were started today in general. Congrats to the douchebags for creating more work for our mod with your misplaced threads and complete disregard for helping with keeping our forum organized. We should stop answering ALL questions that get posted in general so they get buried and forgotten about.
good day.
/end rant

I completely agree, though you may want to look over your post and edit for language.

What's wrong with his language?
Instant satisfaction and disregard for the rules are the new opiate of the people.
God is dead. Long live mod-less XDA.
He wouldn't be our beloved ray of sunshine chopper if he edited for language. And to answer your question chopper, it's because too many people are basically ignorant and have no common sense or reading comprehension. How many people posted absolute gibberish and ZOMG I CAN'T WAIT posts in jt's CM7 thread despite the fact he asked on numerous occasions not to post crap like that in the thread?
RIF people - Reading Is Fundamental (emphasis on the mental part for all you window lickers)
chopper salute - Good day!
This here should be stickied and the thread should be remade 15 different times to take up the whole page, that way no one will miss this.

I respect the devs wishes and will no longer answer questions in the general section...my apologies for contributing to the problem!
I agree, we have our personal way to explain our moods and ideas, but this is a forum. There are rules, ( the forum rules, the laws, the common sense....).
I agree, I we need to clean BOTH: crap with polite language AND good ideas with rude language. This will be done not only because of the rules, also to have a nice place were to discuss.
No warning, no infraction now, just edited the post

i've tried to help some folks with questions in the general section as well, mostly to try to keep the smarter people from having to answer redundant questions that can be found in the stickies...and stop them from possibly posting in the dev section!...a guy can dream right?! But I guess in doing so I have also helped feed the monster that has mashed the general, and q and a section into this mess...I too will no longer answer any questions not posted in the q and a section.

Slightly afraid to post anything containing a question mark in this thread, but I'll take my lumps if I have to. I just created a thread in General with the intent of starting a discussion / getting some opinions regarding a question I've been mulling over. I specifically decided against posting in Q&A since I was not seeking a specific "answer," so to speak. Was that wrong? Should I not have done that?

My rant was regarding "fascinate general forum". But where you did put your thread (xda/general) and the type of discussion you hope to have will achieve the most traffic and not be buried in a device specific forum.
good day.
@kidserious stop trying so hard... good quality trollings will come naturally, errr eventually at some point for you....

What's the point of general and q&a?

Just curious as the q&a section is for questions and answers yet majority of questions being asked are in general forums.
So I gotta ask...what's the point of both?

Irony at the asking a question in general.... Haha well the point is organization, questions are supposed to be in Q&A, and other stuff in General. The only problem is that people don't always obey the guidelines sadly.
I think of Q&A as a place for some to ask a question about something they don't know how to do. For example, "My wifi isn't working, how can I solve this problem?" would be a Q&A post.
The questions asked in General tend to be like, asking for opinions more so than asking for help. Just general discussion.

rootfs

sorry if this is not the right thread but can someone please provide me a link for ubuntu 11.10.tar for iconia a500 i try creating my own rootfs but never work for me
thanks in advance
this is a huge no, no to create your own thread, creating threads are for developers posting roms, kernels, devs, tutorials ect... your thread will be deleted, post your question in the Q&A section of the forums the proper area, not development, or use search function, they have the rules for a reason, and the noob video when you sign up to xda explaining how everything works and the rules, I can't believe people still do this, when you need to read the rules, and they make you watch the video when you sign up.

its cool, I'm sorry if I came off as a jerk, I just find my self saying the same thing everyday when people do this, people make mistakes, you know now, and you'll have a better chance of getting an answer for your question, in q&a.

Don't mean to be rude, but the point of a site like this is that it gathers and shares the questions, answers and experience of thousands of people on thousands of topics. It's organized in a pretty intuitive fashion, so you can navigate and find sections of interest. The search feature works just fine and can help you locate discussions relevant to your questions.
If you do a bit of searching and reading you'll learn quite a bit about topics like toolkits and what various members experiences have been. As with most topics here, you'll find all sorts of opinions, but with a bit of reading you can start to get a good sense of the issues and areas of disagreement, and make your own informed decision.
You'll find that you'll get a lot more help and support if you're willing to first make an effort to follow the guidelines described in the introductory topic area in the forum.
