Thanks.

This is relevant to my interests.
Approaching 8 pages of apps here, anyone?
Try apps organizer, i'm pretty content with it.

I used Smart Shortcuts and it was very laggy. So, don't use it.
Apps Organizer seems promising. I'll give it a try too.

Yeah. The stock viewer is horrible.
Try - JustPictures!
I haven't found a better image viewer - and being a photographer and designer, it's pretty important to me.

Thank that is exactly what I was looking for, being able to show only specific folder & some extras like showing facebook, flickr etc pictures is a bonus.

Photovault and videovault work well, but they are very simple, the beauty is that they hide select photos/videos from other apps. No bells or whistles included.
I'd suggest backing up all media before trying the .nomedia trick as for some reason when I tried it, it decided to delete all my media that wasn't in the specific folder I wanted to hide.
Anyone with any apps that can do folders.. google forgot that part of the story...

search the market for the following:
astro file
es file
File manager HD
you mean all those apps can create a folder on my desktop to put my apps in them??
Try Simi Folder, from the Market. I haven't tried it on the tablet yet but it works great on my phone. It may be just what you're looking for, considering there's no means to do it inherently.

Can you please explain yourself in a bit more detail? Maybe explain exactly what you want to achieve or what you're comparing this functionality to? Then members can probably help you a bit better.
I too thought you just wanted to manipulate files on your tablet. I have no idea what you mean by "create a folder on my desktop to put my apps in them".
I am talking about creating a folders on my main screen so that I can put my games in one folder just like how we do it normally on our Android devices. So that i can have a shortcut on my main screen for my games. Hope i was clear enough??

Ok, you mean the Home Screens. Sorry, I thought you meant the desktop of a computer OS like Windows 7 or OSX. In which case I was stumped.
There's no option for that on the A500 it seems. Not sure if that's due to Acer or Google. But you can put your games in the Game Zone if you wish, I use that as a replacement for Home Screen folders. Just go into your app drawer and look for the Games shortcut. It also links to Multimedia, ebooks and social so you can throw those kind of apps into those areas as well and switch through quickly.
Hope this helps.
simi folder is good and free.

not sure how it looks and performs on the tab...
or folder organizer
http://www.appbrain.com/app/folder-organizer/com.abcOrganizer
theres also a free lite version
both are actual widgets which then are used as "folders"
nor real folders with drag and drog
Folder organizer is fine, powerfull.
Thanks guys...

Is an epub? Then try overdrive
Hi everyone. I have just published an app to the playstore. What it does is that you sign In with you instagram account pick a photo then I put it on a T-shirt and deliver it to the customer.
Problem is that when you type in instagram in the search my app is quite far down the list so therefore quite hard to see.
I've tried different keywords changing the title, description and even category but none of them seem to be moving it further up.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks

Maybe try uploading to this website in the appropriate section of course. I'd put it on at least a few more websites like App brain. You could also put a video on YouTube on how to use the app even if it's very simple. Things like his could get your app to used by more people. This is just an idea as I've never developed an application but it's worth a try I guess. Good luck!

I am looking for something that will let me create one app that will run on IOS and Android. My app is fairly simple. The things that I believe will be the hardest to deal with is playing audio based on a timer and variables, a timer, and data storage. I have looked at some websites that says they have a way to build apps that work on both but they look like to me that they are just webpages with very little functions. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.
Try Intel-XDK
