So i installed cookies home tab and now my animated wallpapers are not working.. i tried messing with all the settings but for some reason nothing is workin.. when i got to apply wallpaper and select the animated wallpapers that came with the phone they still dont work.. So i downloaded hdwall and set it up with CHT and downloaded a dif animated wallpaper it still wont work... someone help me please!!!

choose the wall paper from animated wallpaper link not weather wallpapers (menu - home wallpapers - animated wallpapers -album and choose your favourite wallpaper and it will be shown without weather animations ) good noght

There's a option called 'weather animation on/off switch'. You'll find it when adding a shortcut to your home screen.

The normal wallpaper shows the weather in the centre, but not the animation, so it does what you are asking?
It does show the animation, but only once. You can switch it off by the shortcut I mentioned above.
That weather animation shortcut is a part of Cookie's Home Tab. I don't think it is a part of the standard HTC Sense options. I use it, and it's great.
It is? I love it! I just got my HD2 and installed that cab almost immediately.
If you go through the 'Animated Wallpaper' option, amd select 'All' from the menu you then get all the wallpapers from weather, but without the annoying weather animations - only a small one when the actual weather app updates...
i am using elegancia rom and it has cookie hometab editor and cht editor. but i cannot figure out how to turn off this damn weather animation.. anyone please?

Do you have any idea as to why my wallpapers won't change?
They change only if I choose animated wallpapers. If I choose weather wallpapers, they won't change at all.

the weather has to change before a different weather wallpaper is applied!!
If you apply a "weather wallpaper" these are static and not animated - appart from the weather animation.

It doesn't work. The animated ones work, no matter if the weather update or not.
The static ones don't change at all. I have no ideea why.
So you are saying that the weather wallpaper does not animate, like when you unlock the phone or go from the start screen back to the home screen. Have you ever had the weather working (the wallpaper takes the last stored weather data to define the animation to use whether the weather data is currently being updated or not). I'm talking stock ROM without additionally interfaces and apps. Have you installed anything that chan ges the way the phone looks? A hard reset might work.
i downloaded cookies home tab and the accompanying editor. i love the two as they give me plenty of customization for my hd2, however since i downloaded them i can't find my animated wallpapers at all. i downloaded the green me animated wallpaper but cant use it cuz i cant find it. i have already opened the zip file for it on my phone and did a soft reset but the wallpaper is not working. please help

I won't know where they have gone, but as far as I know, CHT is not compatible with animated backgrounds.
I HAD INSTALLED TOUCH-SHELL SETUP TO CHANGE HOME SCREEN IN MY htc HD MINI...BUT IT DIDNT WORK OUT. BUT AFTER UNINSTALLATION I LOST THE WALLPAPER IN START SCREEN....JUST THE APP ICONS ARE THERE WITH A BLUE BACKGROUND....EVEN IF I CHANGE WALLPAPER ONLY HOME WALLPAPER CHANGES NOT THE START SCREEN WALLPAPER.....HELP!!! am a n00b

I Need help with getting Animated weather to work from my home screen it is working when I go into the weather tab but not on my home screen. I am using Kumar_s_TMUS_HD2_Touch_Prem_V3.0_S23142-WWEnglish Rom .
I have tried to change the wallpaper for home screen but I can't find any animated wallpapers. And I also did change setting in cookies to enable animation.
So someone please tell me what to do to fix this.
Try this tweak, working fine for me:
Disable/enable weather animation
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila]
"Home.WallpaperMode"=dword:0000000 2/0
