Installed "damage rom" now cannot sync any accounts. Comes up with an error saying it has suddenly stopped and you have to hit force close.

Similar to what happened to us a few weeks back. Frendstream isnt updating. FB pictures arent showing up for contacts. Tried signing off and back on through the sync menu but that didnt help

Whenever i try to sync my facebook account or go into my contacts i get the error "the process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again". I get this everytime. What does this mean and how can i fix it? Thanks in advance!!!
if you removed the twlauncher that is your problem. the facebook under the intergraded contacts is tied into tw. I have a facebook under other accounts that I can never get to open so I just do with out linked contacts lol

So, if you remove TWlauncher, does that mean you loose the ability to sync facebook contacts to google contacts?

This just started for me too, but I couldn't figure out what was causing it. How can I disable the Facebook syncing attempts that cause this? Is removing the Facebook sync account enough, or do I have to disable another apk as well?

just uncheck contacts under the facebook account in settings or remove the sync account all together

Actually, scratch that. Ever since I got a replacement Fascinate, the integrated Facebook syncing refused to sync my Facebook contacts. I tried everything possible, but it wouldn't work. Since it wouldnt work anyway, I figured I'd just disable it along with TW, but I decided to enable the TW launcher again, and now I see it's syncing properly now. Go figure. Well, since it's working now, I guess I'll just leave TW enabled, since I want my Facebook contacts to sync.

I got it delete the facebook account in sync then re sync dumb message won't come up any more just to prove it before you delete account try to sync it will sync then message will pop up every time just delete then re sync

are you rooted? Have you deleted anything via a file manager?
Yep rooted and running vaelpak like 3.2.1 I didnt delete any files but this happened 2 roms ago and its just been aggravating I do get a map force close for no reason but im not sure what thats from

My gmail calendar won't sync. I have it set to auto sync so when it tries to sync my calendar info, I get an error message. I need to have my calendar! lol and these error messages are starting to get annoying.
I am running the latest virtuous unity ROM/ kernel (2.37)

Try resetting date/time and going to accounts and toggle the auto sync on and off (not sure if thats what he meant by manualy sync, sorry if i repeated his answer)

I went to application manager and I have to manually sync my account to get updates. I haven't received emails on time. Can anybody help?
I went to the actual Gmail app and it said automatic sync is turned off somewhere
