is it possible to somehow add rosie on top of cyanogenmod? all i really want is the lockscreen, and (especially) the dialer. i was told the apps wont work without the sense framework but i was wondering if it was possible to add/merge that with cyanogenmod.. or get atleast the dialer without all the hassle?
ive tried third-party smart dialers but nothing compares to HTC's version

Click to collapse
no its not possible..
but workarounds.........
1.for launcher.. use he launcher. and select sense like homescreen from bunch.
2.use widget locker, you can get sense 2.1 like lockscreen
3. there is a dailer in the market like in sense , i forgot the name..
search for dialers ....
4. overall, use nt sense theme with cm theme engine..
and thus u'll get most sense features.
im already using ntsense
i guess dialerone is the closest i can get..until android comes out with a smart dialer of its own?
ill check out widget locker
I can't seem to find a widget that shows the running apps.
I know the system has the task manager app but what I really want is to see how many tasks are running in a widget without having to launch "Task Manager"
I also don't want an app to replace the system's Task Manager.
Just a "see how many are running" widget....Know of any?
Thanks!
XK
Ah...duh!...There's one right there, in-built in the widgets options...

I'm using Go Taskmanager to show all running apps. I can also whiteliste some that aren't shown any more. So I have a better view about the new or unwanted ones.
Thalon
or you can hold down the home button and it will bring you to task manager.
I highly recommend TasKiller, which comes with some useful widgets.
so while working on my rom i figured out that my waaaaaayyyyyy unfinished launcher :crying: shows up on the task manager any ideas on how to hide it from the all seeing task manager. It some how doesnt feel right you know with your launcher showing up one the task manager  . If theres no solution for this will it stop showing up on the task manager if i tweak the original samsung touchwiz??
and thanks :highfive:
Aair
willing to use the sense launcher to tweak too but will the task manager leave it alone???
Sent from my GT-S5360 using xda app-developers app
Does anyone know if it's possible to use the iOS7-like task switcher that comes with the navi launcher and if so, how?
Thx!
Hi all,
I hate the new task switcher on the Note 4, does anyone know how to get back the Honeycomb - ICS style task switcher?
Our task swithcher is the best switch i have ever seen
Idk why you want change to the old one
It's also the future given that is almost a clone of the upcoming Android 5.0 Lollipop task switcher.
I know it does help the OP, but getting used to it is probably the best option here.
Regards,
Dave
How so? Its so big I can't really even easily tell which app I'm switching to. Only one app is easily visible all the others are hidden and need to be swiped to. On the Note 3 and the Honeycomb to ICS switcher you can see about 4 apps windows at the same time and their icons are more prominent making it easier to switch to.
This new task switcher doesn't really add anything, it detracts imo.
