Guide for making roms?? - HTC Aria General

Ok so i have theunlockr.com's guide for making a custom rom. I was wondering if there are any other good guides out there?
I would like to make some roms for myself using other cooked roms, maybe i can make one good enough to share. Or atleast know what im doing well enough to help out with other roms.
Thanks

[Q] CM7 Kernels

I just recently flashed CM7 and i dont want to mess it up because it is a pretty long process and i was wondering what kernels can u use for it because i not sure is it like any other rom
Only use the one it comes with or bilboas kernel posted in the dev section. Any other kernel will most definitely end in bad news for you.

ROM to flash

I'm new to android. Just got a S4 l337 few weeks ago. I've my phone rooted, CWM loki'd. I'm now not sure which ROM I should be installing. I want clean, smooth and stable ROM. Pls suggest me one. I'm using T-mobile BTW. Thanks a lot
Touchwiz roms are located in the Android Development section and aosp roms can be found in the original development section. Read upand try out a few (assuming you've already made a backup).
These "which rom is best?" threads are usually shut down quickly. It's best to just form your own opinion on which rom works best for you.
Cheers

No one can answer that for you. You'd have to try out both to see how they fit to your liking.
Carbon or LiquidSmooth all the way!
