Hi, I'm not entirely sure what your question is as your post title is not clear.
But, if you want to sync Lotus "Nuts" (I hate it but have it in the office) with the HD2 then Easy Sync Pro from IBM works quite well. It does do contacts (without photos) and calendar and tasks OK.
There is also a "Traveller " program for Lotus that claims to sync but I have not tried it.
XTNDConnect PC (6.5) works fine for me (with Lotus Notus 8)

Take XTND V7.xx it works.
Lotus Notes still exists?
I thought people used a real groupware server -- Exchange.
My work use Lotus Notes Traveller, its pretty good, the managers and directors can use it on there S740 Rose and Touch Diamond 2s.... So its gotta be easy to use, updates calendar on the phone also and notifies of meetings.
Thanks for the reply!
I uninstalled everything again and then it worked fine with xtnd connect v6.0.
Yesterday I got the 7.1 release, installed it and everything works fine now.
The only problem is that when i sync my emails the programm syncs them but into th outlook inbox. So I can´t reach them via the softkey and have to change the folder to outllok inbox everytime i want to have a llok at my emails.
Is there anything to adjust to view them on the email screen?
Thanks for your help!

I install HTC Sync 3.0 for Desire and it's working perfectly. But only sync calendar and contacts from my outlook. Is possible in the future to sync everything? Like notes, tasks and mainly mails. I don't use exchange or gmail - only download via POP3 emails to PC and synchronize with my HD2 and NTB.
It's only one thing, why I haven't used Android yet.
Thanx for reply
Does your email support IMAP? If so, I'd use that instead of POP. Setup that email accounts as IMAP on both the phone and desktop. The server keeps them in sync. It works similar to Exchange.
I know, but it doesn't solve problem with 1Gb emails in my Outlook. I don't like IMAP, because it's quite slow, when you have to transfer a big number of email.
I now many possibilities how to solve this problem, but I don't want to change anything, just sync. thx
He can u post the Link to the HTC Sync tool.
I'm not able to download via HTC site.
Or is the HD2 serial working for Desire HTC Sync Download ?

Hi, can you tell me exactly which version of android you have installed? One week ago I test HTC sync 3.0, but program does not recognize shubCRAFT_v1.3 which is Froyo 2.2 from Nexus One
To my knowledge, HTC Sync is for HTC Desire, not supports Google Nexus One.

Hi,
I believe there is no direct syncronization Outlook <-> Android phone.
But, there is an alternative.
It is not free - $14.
The name is gsyncit.
It is a windows application. When you press synchronize it synchronizes all your contatcs, calendar evetns and tasks with the google account.
And when you synchronize the phone with the googel account - it gets syncronized.
Also if you change anything in the phone or in the google account you get it changed in Outlook.
BTW even if you upload a picture of a contact in the google account it will put the picture in Outlook.
I got two licenses- one for me and one for my wife

Countryman,
You need to choose you weapons: no Sense, no HTC Sync...
Other solution is to use Android Sync (http://www.android-sync.com/) but I found it less nice than HTC Sync.

Martasdx, I have the exactly same problem. Without a simple sync of my e-mails in Outlook (notebook) with Android I will keep my new Moto XT720 (excelent camera) packed and using my trusty HD2 daily and having sync with Active Sync...
check this out: Mobisynapse
It also comes with a free android app: mOffice - Outlook sync to pair with Mobisynapse desktop manager for Outlook sync
Hello everybody,
i just flashed the RAFdroid ROM to my wife's HD2. (Android 2.2.1)
She was using WinMo 6.5 until yesterday and easily synced MS Outlook with the HD2 via WinMo Center.
As she now uses Android and the HD2 should show as a Desire, i installed HTC Sync 3.0.5511. When i now connect the phone to my PC it asks how to connect, where i check "HTC SYNC". The phone searches for HTC sync on my PC for a while but nothing happens.
I even started HTC Sync on my PC manually. Nothing.
I also already disabled USB debugging which then is turned on automatically, again.
What am i doing wrong?
What could i try to get HTC Sync working?
Is there another way to sync my Android HD2 with MS Outlook?
Thanks!
Steve
Try myphone explorer app and the Windows Software my phone Explorer
After googling for a while i installed Android SDK, rebooted and everything works fine!
Thanks for your hint with myphoneexplorer.
We prefer Outlook which now works (via HTC sync).
If you want to synchronize only the default outlook folders with the complete content, HTC Sync is working. But if you want to synchronize an outlook subfolder or filter some contacts, you will need MyPhoneExplorer. It works top with RafDroid via usb cable (HTC Sync-Mode) or via WIFI.
Thanks, i will give it a try, WLAN-sync sounds nice.
As an alternative, i am using gsyncit. It is an external program to outlook, and has tons of setting (almost too many). You manually set it up to your gmail account, and it does it thing.
you can control the sync timing.
One of the nice perks/hassles about gsyncit, it runs periodically on your computer, so if its the computer/outlook is up and running, it auto syncs. You can like edit your calendar in outlook, and then sync it, and it shows up instantly with on your phone via the web.
So you could alter your wife's calendar at home in outlook, and it update her calendar in another state or driving down the road. Kinda interesting.

You just need to install Android SDK to your pc. PS! I also have PDAnet installed as I also saw this mentioned as a solution. I'm not sure which one (or both together) makes it work, but hey it works for me.

Hi,
I am not sure if someone else asked this question. I updated my phone to Nand Gingerbread. Everything works great. However, the major problem I am having is that HTC Sync (on Win7 laptop) does not recognize the device.
In the previous Android (2.2), when we used to connect it to the PC, many options would appear to identify the type of the connection. One of those options was "HTC Sync". Choosing this option used to allow HTC Sync software on the windows pc to recognize the device and sync its contents.
However, in Gingerbread I cannot find anyway to connect my HD2 in a "sync" mode in order to allow HTC Sync to recognize it.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
htc sync requires htc sense.

Had the exact same problem when i was trying out a Gingerbread rom, and thanks to Tann he told me about a program called MyPhoneExplorer
It works with your dilema and you'll be back to syncing:
http://www.fjsoft.at/en/downloads.php
And its Free too, cant get any better then that
ooo good find, i looked high and low for an outlook sync solution, cant believe i missed this.
it also seems to include the adb usb drivers, so perhaps this could be installed instead of the whole android sdk for the adb drivers....

Thank you so much. This application seems very useful.
Anyways, my problem is that before I flash my HD2 to Gingerbread, I had Froyo Sense, and I synchronized all my contacts to HTC Sync on my PC, and now after I flashed I found that I cannot get those contacts back...
So I guess my only solution is to flash back to Froyo Sense, get those contacts, sync them using MyPhoneExplorer, and then Flash again to Gingerbread.
Thanks for the help everybody.

HTC Sync uses outlook, you need to look in the setting in the app, you can re-sync your outlook contacts with this program. Thats what its meant for also.

You have to install the tool on your win7 from here.
After that install My Phone Explorer Client from the Market. Connect your phone via WLAN or USB and start the Client on the phone. After that start the app from your win7 and set up your sync source (Outlook/Windows Contacts/Gmail/only MyPhoneExplorer) in settings or via new phone assistent.
You can now sync Contacts/Appointments/SMS/Files/Tasks and Notes (new with separate phone app).
It's the first sync solution where you can sync outlook tasks and notes, I love the tool.

And it looks like you can transfer contacts to the phone, but can't sync
