NEW "official" HTC Touch HD ROM Upgrade!!!

Hi,
Dose any one tried the new HTC Touch HD ROM Upgrade published today on the official HTC web site?
I tried to download it but it says "Sorry, this software download is not suitable for your device."
Is it for specific language?

Currently I don't need an update. After the frezze fix, my HD is fine.
I never change a winning team, unless I can't resist....

I upgraded my HD from a dutch rom to this rom last week. It is a WWE rom and runs just fine. It is posted already on the forum.

kwabbernootje : can you till my how you did it. you say that your device language is dutch and could flash it with this WWE ROM without unlocking with Hard-SPL.

Uh, the thread title "New HTC Touch HD ROM available" a few lines down?

We've got the same situation like when hotfix has been released. 5 similar threads a day. Here and on rom development sub-forum.

ROM or WM ?
I want to change the language on a HTC Touch HD from DE to ENG.
Is it enough to flash the ROM with a WWE? and then the windows will start in ENG?
Or after flashing the ROM I need to install the O.S. as well ?

sense ui on 1.6 ion

can i install sense ui on the standard 1.6 ion? i have the 32b voda magic which now has the latest version 1.6 rom from htc i tried to install htc widgets like weather etc but never works is there a way around this without changing my rom cos i find it the most stable and fastest. i like qteks latest rom but need wifi and i can`t get it to work.

you can either have 1.6 ION or a HTC Sense rom, they are completely different. Sense UI requires HTC's code, so it cannot be easily ported to the google 1.6 code. You can theme your 1.6 to look similar to Sense however, try the theme section.

I moved to 1.6 recently, and lost the HTC apps and cannot sync non-google contacts or calendar. On the other hand, I also need navigation. Sigh.

HTC Magic SWISSCOM...SENSE UI

Hi! I have a htc magic 1.6 (swisscom) and i would like to know is there a way to update my sense ui! I've visited htc site,entered a s/n and it sad my phone is not supported! Is there another way to update this branded magic? Or...can i install a hero ROM on it?

From what I know, the Swisscom Magic is a 32B and will therefore never get a Sense UI upgrade. You'll have to install a custom Dream/32B ROM if you want it. Check the Dream forums.

If you want to flash a sense ROM you need to flash a recovery image and an appropriate Sense ROM for 32B Magics.

Help for Change to European Rom...

I am using in my Wildfire (S-ON) the rom Froyo ARABIC build 2.37.415.1 with the HBOOT 1.01.0002,
there is any way to install a official European Rom???
I have long sought a 2.37 european rom, but was not the meeting
please can someone help me change the rom?

There's a thread in the Wildfire Development Section on how to Downgrade Android 2.2.1 to 2.1. Follow that. (The Hboot won't be downgraded, only the OS). After that, you should be able to run the 2.22.405 WWE RUU.
Not sure it will work, but, I think it's worth a try,

I'm in the same boat. Got a wildfire for my step brother as a present but its in arabic w/ arabic keyboard and no Market app. I'm new to this and kinda clueless, tried the downgrade but it just keeps failing. And since its a 2.37 I can't install the WWE 2.22 RUU.
Any instruction would be great.

for more languages ​​I use Morelocale2.apk,
and use the keyboard gingerbreadkeyboard.apk,
hopefully soon see a wwe rom 2.37 or higher
