Any guys can help out there?
I'm sure most of you know about this one; when sending or receiving an MMS message, a message always pops up asking for permission to use/change the internet connection. Does anyone know of any way to turn this off? I've searched found nothing. Also, has anyone noticed that you have to get off of a messenger service (Agile, for example) before you can send or receive a MMS message? I've noticed that I can't send/receive if I don't quit Agile messenger.
Grah.
i don't know which setting i did today but now i see the mails only in txt format and anymore in html. the setting is deactivated so i can't change it from plain text to html??
has anyone an idea?
I'm wondering, is there a way to manually edit the SMS server? I know you can edit the MMS, but I'm wondering if the SMS can be edited manually as well. Or somehow edit just the HTC Messaging app to pull messages from an internet server instead of OTA? I'm trying to configure google voice sms to go directly into my SMS inbox and be replyable from there as well as long as I have internet access.
Phone / Menu / Options / Voice Mail and Text Messages.
Cheers

yeah, that's still OTA, it uses the SMSC to send/receive text messages, I'm talking about actually editing the HTC Messaging registry to use an internet protocol, not a phone number
Hey guys,
I was just curious as to why I see upload activity in the LTE drop down icon whenever I send a regular text, not MMS?
Does anybody else experience this?
What data is being uploaded if it is just a text?
you can see this if you send a text and pull down the top menu as it is sending.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
SMS typically uses the same connection as voice, so for most carriers this is GSM or CDMA (not LTE), but there is definitely a standard for SMS, MMS, and voice over LTE... It is probably an app triggered to sync by you initiating a connection.
