my PPC hanging (upgrade problem)

Sorry for my poor english
in upgrade my HTC P3300 To Rom v2.00.02 PV for HTC Artemis ( Crossbow Style ) After 10 Min My PPC Disconect form USB and my PPC hang on tab screen

and when i soft reset it , hang in main screen (same page that write IPL , SPL , GSM , OS Ver) . and not BOOT !

I think it was clearly mentioned that this rom was meant for CID unlocked devices,you could try flashing it back to a stock rom,(orignal shipped rom) all the best.

how i can do this ? (recover my orginal ROM)

i had the same error. In most of cases is because You didnt switch off firewall. Try to flash t-mobile official shipping rom (i done this on my orbit o2 fm uk) by boot loader - keep record button when You do soft reset. For me was helpfull.

Asus A716 Oh that big

Hello, I know that not a htc pda, but that good too
I just bought it in ebay and I would like to give it at my father, but before I would like to upgrade very old winCE 2003 for a WM5 or 6, but my question is : Is it possible to take a rom loke faman rom and put it on this device.
Hope it will be good, because lot of new software don't work on this old platform.

Simple answer: it probably won't work.
In my experience, ROMs are only usable on the device they were made for. I don't know Faman, but if he is on this site then he is probably cooking ROMs for HTC phones. You will do best to find a ROM that has been made for the Asus and trying to install that.

Thanx for your answer, I hope I will find rom for this device. Anothr question I bought window mobile 5 or 6 in a shop, is it possible to install it, or it is the same problem (wm for each device brand) ?

Well I think it depends on the device and how old it is. If the device is vga or qvga. Post the name of your device and you can get a real answer!

ASerg Touch Dual Dialer - small problem...

i love this dialer - especialy the contact-list...
on the screenshots u can see the problem i think...
the colour is green instead of white or light grey and the left soft-button is missing as well - and funniely the "redial"-button works FINE!!
a friend of mine has an O2 branded P4350 with the same promlem...
any reg-keys i need to change?
its a german P4350 on the original german HTC Rom...

I installed the touch dual dialer, and i don't seem to have this problem.
Could you post the dialer cab you have here so we can determine if its a cab problem or a phone problem?

attached the cab file... i had five 4350 because of other hardwareproblems - always same thing... a friend of mine who owns a O2 (german) branded 4350 has the same problem...
perhaps its a problem with the german original htc rom? than i can only hope that there is a registry key to change...

i dont have my phone with me at the moment, but try this fix. It was originally used to fix a bug where the text would be black and thus unreadable, but it works by turning the text white.

no effect on the dialer...

eh, makes sense. or at least, not unexpected. lemme try the cab.

There's a WWE rom upgrade for HK user, which u can read, type chinese just as the CHT/CHS rom. If u wish to see an official CHT/CHS rom upgrade, maybe u'll need to wait for more time coz it need to translate the whole rom into chinese.
Noramlly the official WWE rom upgrade is released 1-3 months faster than CHT rom.

I have try this release ("RUU_Photon_hTC_Asia_HK_CHT_1.07.708.1_Radio_Signed_20100305_Ship.exe") on my french HD Mini an it work fine ! (I followed this procedure)
But now I would like to install the last version of this ROM (1.36.708.3) but I need a serial number of a HK phone to download it...
If somebody could share a serial number...

Well dude I tried both Generic {Middle East} & Generic {Australia}. And found Australian lot smoother and no lags. :angel:
