Just reset your phone, by either using the button under the back, or hold down the power button in Android.
It's not really installed, more like running on top of windows. Only difference is, you can't close it and get back into windows, you have to restart the device.

cool thanks.
i tryed over and over to get this to work and the closest i could get was to the boot screen i could barely see because it was so dim. so i got my spare freshly formated class 6 8 gig sd/card installed it on it and now it boots up fine.
Is this suppose to last for a while or does it only work for a few minute. after 5 to 15 min it seems to freeze up.
It Works Pretty Good For Me...
Also I never installed the HSPL but it still works. Are you suppose to install it or is it just recomnended?
Still too buggy, random freezes, etc

Android for HD2 is not a ROM, instead its booted through HARet and you can run it without HSPL
This Android thing still has another month or two of hard work before it will run right. People are just putting their builds out there for other developers, to show what theyve accomplished so far, and to get people excited. We just gotta be patient and help the devs out.
Success
Finally got it working on my ustmobile hd2 after many tries. This tut was the one that made it easy for me. Thanks to the poster and all those in the scene who have made it possible. I am so excited that we may actually have a stable build in the not so far off future.
I got this to work just fine after a few tries. But I have noticed still there is no way of charging the phone while using Android. And also noticed that it runs down the battery very fast. But hopefully someday soon there will be a fix for charging.

Never had that problem. Sounds like its time for a new phone. When you go down there tell them to stop bullshitin and throw some really power in the wing. Godd Luck
Gimpy
I suggest you call T-mobile if your Phone is still under the 1 year warranty. They will send you a new phone if so. If not, I havent experienced that problem either.
my phone was doing that before i flashed it with Touch it and it hasn't since.

LOL. Dont smash it. Sell it on craigslist.
are you using any overclocking program on your phone (batterystatus, omapclock)...it could be some sort of settings with overclock on wakeup or something of that sort...try turning all of the programs off and see if it still has the same problems...
yeaa am using the overclocking program!!! could be doing that because it never did it before....ill disable it and see what happens
That's happened to me before actually now that I think about it.
What rom are you using? If I were you I'd do a hard reset or install a newer rom version.
am using the regular tmobile ROM...am guessing u want me to get touch it rite..
Download this, it's the Stock Tmobile RUU. It will restore your Wing to the original factory T-mobile Rom/Settings.
http://www.mediafire.com/?2nq9iu0a2nt
See if that maybe fixes the problem. Don't forget to back up your contacts and anything else you want to save.
Just connect your phone to activesync, then run the file.
isnt that the same thing as hard reset????
I say download a cooked rom. It was alil nerve racking for me at first, but after reading the same pages for a few weeks I finally felt confident that I could do it without brinking it. PLus with everyone here, I knew help wouldnt be to far away. And I cant tell you how nice it is to have all that freed up memory. If you need any help feel free to msg, Im not even close to as knowledgeable as the other guys here but Ill be glad to give as much help as I can.

Not sure of the fix but it looks like an odd overlay issue. Possibly a conflict with 2 dialers? /shrug

Wow -- what an interesting design. Very unique.
Seriously -- did you try to intstall another dialer or something? What did you do on the device today (installs / mods)??
last message, I had the big button dialer for while like a week or so and I decided to get a skin,
I saw a fourm and i got the img files for the black skin, So i put the img's in the windows dir. but that wasint the place to put them, it over writed like 2 img files i think, so i went into the phone skin folder in the windows dir. and i put them there did a soft-reset and it turned out like that, "first time i put the img's to the windows .dir no change after soft-reset" so can some one conger up some detailed step by step instructions on how to fix this, I got to go this was my last message im walking out the door right now.. 9:30pm GMT -05:00 "eastern time" is when ill be on, later guys and thanks for the help..
wow, man. if you erased images previously in windows folder, you might be SOL, just a bit, without knowing which ones. What I would do would be to try and use another dialer skin and install over the whole thing. try big button dialer again. try to install it and see if that works for you. i have included it in this post so you dont have to bother searching. i know that big button dialer uses all its own images so it might just overlay again and look right.

Is that the installed dialer that comes with the official carrier released ROMs?
Alright i'm back, thank's for the steps, I just uninstalled the dialer and it just finished booting up, and wow, I turn my phone on and it statred dialing by its self???
Well im installing the new idaler and going to add the skin after it boots up, hopefully it doesint dail whole bunch of numbers and letters again lol..
Well I uninstalled the dialer, re-installed it, put the img's back into the phone skin folder and soft-rest my phone,
\edit
Well i'm just going to uninstall it and stick to the original big button dialer, guess I canno't put a new skin, if any one want's to go in depth with me on trying to fix this problem I would be more then happy to let them help me, thank's to who helped..
EDIT: UNDER DEVELOPEMENT AND WILL BE RELEASED WHEN READY! KEEP AN EYE ON THIS THREAD!!!!
Here's an idea... when you turn your phone off, it locks... when you turn it on, you must roll your thumb/finger to the right around the wheel of the diamond to unlock it...
as you wheel around, the white line around the circle begins to fill from the top, moving rightward around...
sorry for the poor image quality, i just threw it together as a thought.
I hope a developer can throw this together, prolly isn't hard at all and would really be cool for the diamond. Better graphics and glowing line ofcourse.
its simple and utilizes the unique hardware of the diamond, and also the pro.

anyone like?
anyone down to try and create it?
Wish i could, but i have no idea where to start. i'm in the dark here.
to clear up any confusion that may come up, the lights on the wheel itself don't need to light up as you wheel around... only the circle on the screen.
as you would pass a point on the wheel, another section of the ring on the screen would fill in.
Sounds like a good idea. Hope someone have the time to make it.
im sure that 'wheel-2-unlock' is one of the features of the TouchXperience ROM but it would take a long time for this rom to be released i guess.
TouchXperience is a ROM? Not just a cab installation?

CapacitiveFingerLock
I am working on such an idea already for a week or so:
CapacitiveFingerLock.
It will have another locking/unlocking mechanism on top of StylusLock, as described in this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2681112&postcount=62
Because I am now on a business trip in America, I had not much time to work on the program. But I haven proven already that it works. I have to remove some stuff from the proven program, and integrate it with my already existing StylusLock. The goal is that it does NOT cost extra battery power and CPU and is really simple to use.
The reason to add this, is to have it possible to lock and unlock "one handed". The StylusLock approach cannot be done "one handed", e.g. on a bike. Also some people do not like to operate with the StylusLock. The combination with this new CapacitiveFingerLock and existing StylusLock will suit more people. And sometimes people will use the Stylus, so they will get the right behaviour depended on the usage.
Good idea, as I do not use any locks or such applications, but this one sounds nice. Just remember that this app should not conflict with, or somehow overcover and incomming call

Woohoo, I've been asking for such a thing for weeks now. Do you have a working version already?
That would be awesome.
Definitely MUCH MUCH better than SensorLock and all the - no need to mention - rest!
Especially because SensorLock is still buggy as hell!
after install twrp 2.7.1 i have with the date and time 1970 issue
@trifos go to the twrp settings menu and set your date.
When I clean. installation. again I have date and time 1970 ,its rtc wrong
So after you are installing a rom you have a time like that? Just do the time properly in the rom and try it again. Also do like i said in the twrp settings the time good. If these things dont work it could be like a bug. I only got those weird times on my old android phones with removable battery when i reinsert it.
Sorry if I didnt gave you the right answer yet but I don't completely understand it :/

Maybe the rom also did that? Probably not but thats the created date by something you did before probably those folders also remain like that. If your phone was once set to this time and then thefolder is created then thats the date, I cant give you an full answer why this would happen
Bump @trifos this is also for you maybe if you still have the problem.
It seems that there was also an app/fix for it so I want to share it with you and maybe other people who also have this problem.
See this old thread which got barried in the ruins of the xda pages

Hope this could also solve this issue for other users too.

Did it happend when you created a new folder? If so then look into settings and adjust the time. When everything is wiped and it doesn't have the time written anymore and it doesn't know where you are also if you didn't even connected to internet then you get that. See this also about why 1970 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unix_time you could describe this as a bug kind of. Just like in a computer if you pull out the small round battery on the motherboard and no power supply then it will also not remember the time and it just resets to the begin time.
Let's describe this easily, its just a bug just like Ios8 have bugs with receiving sometimes random text messages from 1970 which you can't open. So just change the time in settings and you will be fine :good:

Anyway, thanks for the reply.
I've been using XC for a month now. Battery Care worked only during the first few weeks and now it refuses to work anymore. For the past few days, I've been trying to figure out the cause. I even decompiled the APK and am studying the program logic. But I need some live data from working device to help me better understand. If your phone is rooted and Battery Care is working properly, please send me the following files to check. Hopefully the result will help to fix our problem regarding Battery Care. Thanks!

/data/data/com.sonymobile.smartcharger/databases/chargingInfo.db-journal
/data/data/com.sonymobile.smartcharger/shared_prefs/SmartChargeData.xml
I've just written an app to improve BatteryCare prediction. Check it out.

You can try it for a few days and will see the Predicted time should match closely with the Actual time which will result in successful prediction. If all goes well, BatteryCare should resume again. Please be reminded to set the alarm clock BEFORE plugging in.
BTW, you should see values in Score and Less than 1 week after the first charging event. But currently the value for Score is not very accurate. I'm working on it now.
I set alarm clock daily at 5.45, except Saturday and Sunday.
