Hi there,
I seem to have gotten myself into trouble here... I rooted my DI, and then proceeded to install the last nightly build of CyanogenMod 6. I decided to revert to my backup, so I booted into recovery and choose nandroid and chose my backup. It loaded the backup, however now I can't boot my phone. It's stuck on the white loading screen that says "HTC incredible". Also, for some reason I can't connect the phone to my PC. If the phone is powered off, and USB is plugged in, the light on top shows it charging. However as soon as I turn the phone on the light turns off! The device never shows up in the device manager for some reason. I've tryed to wipe data\factory reset and wipe cache partition.
Another thing, I have the errors below in the recovery menu:
E:Can't mount CACHE:recovery/log
E:Cant' mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p2 (file exists)
How can I get my device recognized by my PC??
I was thinking I could plug the SD card into my PC and put a ZIP on it to run, is it possible to put a ROM image in a ZIP and have clockwork run it?

After flashing to the pixel 1.60 rom on my nexus s , I am unable to mount any partition(ie system, sdcard, mount usb storage etc) in clockword mod recovery.
I cant boot to recovery then to clockword mod fine but when i try to mount usb storage
i get the following error
E:Unable to write to ums lunfile (No such file or directory)
However by pressing the volume down button and power button I am able to load in to the O.S. fine with everything working including "turn on usb storage".
So does anybody have a clue on what is going on or how i can fix it.
You help in the matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

did you try going into the mount menu in recovery and mount the sd storage manually?
Ok I finally got everything back to normal.
It was a weird problem, I restarted into fastboot then into recovery for like 6 or 7 times and then finally I could mount usb storage. Then i loaded and then flashed the phone to the codename android rom 1.40 and now everything is working fine.
The thing is I do not know what caused the issue and how issue cleared up.
Anyone has any thoughts?

Working fine for me. Note also USB mounting in recovery is fully recovery and /boot dependant rather than /system dependant.
Sent from my Nexus S using xda premium
Error may nor be rom dependent.
Ok i do not think the error is rom dependent as it happened again.
This time, will surfing Wikipedia on android mod 1.4 my phone froze.
After plugging out the battery and plugging it in again, the problem appeared again.
1)Phone stuck at " Google" logo screen.
2)When booting into fastboot then recovery, the same problem occurs again
which is I am Unable to mount usb storage or "E:Can't mount /sdcard/" when choosing to load zip from sd card.
Could the problem be faulty flash memory ?
I have only about a month of warranty left.
If you guys think its faulty flash memory, anyone has any tips on how to flash to stock rom and lock the bootloader with the above problem?
Suddenly my tablet went all apps to "Force close" so I immediately reboot my tablet...When I it boots it takes me hours and hours to boot and it doesn't work..
I'm using V8 bootloader when I go to CWM and do some formatting I notice that my /data couldn't perform a format or mount it then when I go to install .zip my internal storage couldn't opened as it recognizes it as /sdcard error mount. Is there a way to put those back again? I'm worried that I couldn't use my tablet anymore
Specifics first -
Device: VS980 (VZW LG G2)
Recovery: TWRP 2.6.3.2
ROM: CM 10.2 12/6 Nightly
I had a random reboot while trying to answer a phone call today. Its happened before. So I figured I would reflash the nightly to see if it would correct itself. I entered recovery from the power button menu. I tried to flash the nightly from the CyanDelta folder (tinkering around earlier, downloaded it, detected rom, and deleted from cmupdater file). For some reason I decided to wipe cache and dalvik after installing. The phone never rebooted after that. I proceeded to try and power up only to be faced with a constant CM boot screen (I knew something was wrong when I notice how long it took to get to the CM screen). I was able to get back into recovery to try and flash the 11/30 nightly, which I hadn't touched. After flashing, I noticed the "Unable to mount /cache". So instead of trying to fight with my phone to get back into recovery, I flashed a backup. It also displayed the "Unable to mount /cache". My phone was in recovery where I performed a factory reset. ADB was recognizing it and receiving commands. I unplugged it to see if I could get into download mode. Now I cant get it back into recovery. When I do "adb devices" it shows up as "unauthorized". Where do I go from here? I have very limited adb experience.
Recently my mother switch to Redmi 4G and gave her Redmi note 3G to me. I don't like the MIUI and flash CyanogenMod 11. It was a successful flash. Then I need to move my data from my old phone to this "new" phone. When I was transferring the Whatsapp backup from my PC to the internal storage, I accidentally dropped the phone and the USB cable was unplugged. It immediately says the internal storage is corrupted and then shortly turn off by itself.
When I restart the phone, it stuck at the boot screen for more than 10 mins. I try to enter recovery mode and reflash the ROM. It says the reflash is done successfully but fail to mount data, cache and system. When I reboot it still stuck at the boot screen. I tried to format the internal storage in recovery mode but it says the format failed.
I think it is quite clear that the internal storage is corrupted, but is there a way I can unbrick the device?
Hi,
I had CM12 installed on my Mojo - but wifi kept dropping out so I decided I wanted to flash the stock rom as discussed in these threads. I wiped everything except the external sd card which had the stock zip on it (data, internal, dalvick etc)
I tried to flash the stock rom and nothing happened past the MD5 message (it was stuck on the flash) - so I pulled out the power cable and now when I try and reboot the Mojo I get nothing but a black screen. I've tried connecting with USB 2.0, but adb does not pick up any device (on adb devices command). Any hope for a recovery of this one??
I've managed to get into the boot screen but I get a simple message saying "....driver not found.. Booting OS" and it's permanently stuck on this message
TWRP is there but where??

I can't seem to get it to boot into TWRP - even though I know it is on there, as it was there after I did the wipe!
