Can you help with the Keyboard.The situation that,Id upgrade my HP 6915 from Spanish ROM to the English,....and the one of problem is the bad Keyboard.Symbols,Delete.......atd.How can I change it...?Please, help me.
May be I need English sym.txt file...?

Hi guys,
For my purposes I've created a software input panel and now I want to share it with those who want to try new things. It is inspired by popular phonepad, easy typing with the finger, suggestions on the top of the SIP, you can insert them to text by directly clicking on them. It can learn new words. There are T9 or Abc typing mode, it's easy to insert numbers (see manual document).
In the installation CAB there is czech and english version, manual and step-by-step how to create dictionary for other languages easily... You can also create your own skin modifying the bmp files in the installation directory.
I'll be glad if you help me to improve SIP's features, report bugs or just simply comment your opinion.

I've tried to create DEU dictionary. Lets extract t9_dictionary.de.txt and t9_dictionary.de.idx to the installation directory and in the settings select it in combo box.
Could you please reupload it to an other service. I've got some problems to download it from uloz.to. Thx.

Still problems to download. The mirror took about 5 Minutes to load the website content, after that I tried to search for a link, but couldn't get it. Tried with FF and IE7.
What about uploading to rapidshare or megaupload?

I try to make the greek dictionary, but the original file has no spaces from word to word. Is there a way to find another greek dictionary?

At the end, I was able to create a Turkish Dict. So start to use your keyboard and find it very usefull, many thanks again.
But I have a small request. Will it be possible to add "(", ")" icons (for smiling ) into your left sembol bottom (+-*/) ?

There is, the most top right key. You can use it as spacebar.
Try this swedish dictionary:

Just copy it into the installation directory, hold "+" button on T9Sip panel to enter settings and select sw. Maybe you need to reboot the phone.

I adapted croatian dictionary from Open Office using your dictionary tool. It works well, so thank you very much for this. I think that it would be nice if your panel counts use of words so it can prioritize words by usage in T9 bar.
One question for the end: are you planning to give this in open source community so people can make their own customizations ?

Is there any rom avaialable which uses HINDI as a default language. I have gone through many threads. There are lot of upgradations available for chiniese and japanies language. But I dont find anything for hindi language support. Please let me know if there is any way to change my default language as HINDI.

The installation always says cannot install on current platform. I am running WM6.5
Ok guyz, try this keyboard, which lets you type in hindi on pocket pc. I have extracted it from lingvosoft pocket eng-hindi dictionary. Hope this might help others to see a bit of devanagri on our beloved ppc's.

Go to start, you have a shotcut called "value added pack", this is the arabic support. Install it and enjoy

I downloaded it, used Universal Extractor Language File to extract the NBH file and with the DFT_SSPL_MINI, I installed.
It is working fine so far and has the Arabic language support, besides other languages. What I don't like is the English font, it is not as smooth as the one I used to have before.

Hereby i give you Khals MIUI V2 with multilanguages installed. The following languages i was able to put in:
Danish, German, French, Polish, Dutch, Portuguese
Other languages make the ROM not boot, i will look into that later hopefully i can add more languages later. Hope my nandroid works, same method as Khals english version.
When you have changed the language reboot once to get everything in your preffered language!
Camera (i still have problem when recording video it FC's)
Added CameraMoto from Milestone (No HD recording and only 5MP camera)
Added some additional features.

I'm sorry but you need more files.
For framework-res you need:
a folder called values-cs with arrays.xml, plurals.xml (can be missed) and strings.xml
a folder called values-cs-rCS with arrays.xml
For all other apk's you need:
In some cases arrays.xml and strings.xml
In some cases only strings.xml
If anyone who wants their language in this and future ROM's if you can provide this to me i can put them in. Else it will not be possible, because i dont speak that many languages ;-)

Perhaps I ask stupid - can you provide source code or instructions for the translation? I would do a translation, and you add it into the ROM?
And is it possible to adjust ROM so that when I switch the locale cz_cs the text was in English (not Chinese characters!)? Switch on the locale cz_cs need for some programs working with the national environment. Sorry my english.

Alternatively, it could be to use something from this? Plain update does not work, then the phone is dead ...

I will try to add soon, explaining to you how to add languages to apk and framework takes allot of time. You can find allot about it on Google.

Just install the one from Khals Engish ROM, do not install from UI replace it with Root explorer and reboot.

I am sorry these files are allso not compatible with the framework used in Khals and oyang ROM tried many other files allso do not work. Need files from a Froyo MIUI rom preferably Milestone MIUI Froyo ROM with Czech language not Gingerbread MIUI.

I will bring out a clean version of the MIUI final soon with languages added, and when the final version of khals will comes out on monday i will implement the languages as well.
