CAn somone provide me witha cab link to remove the scrolling quickbar at the bottom? Many people say it cant be done cause it is part of sense, but I know it can. It just has to, there are so many tweaks for this phone that there should be a cab to get rid of the quickbar... Can somone provide me please? i have searched all ver this forum :/
not sure what you mean. you can make the slider retractable using cookies, home tab so its out of sight until you need it.......
or to get rid of it completely you might as well just turn off sense as you wont be able to reach any other tabs without the slider.......

Go into cht/Miscellaneous settings and turn on retractable slider
i set mine to like 5 secs seems to work just fine No need to install a cab. file

Well yah , i know you can do that, and that's what I have mine set for but i would like the whole bar to be taken out and removed and i know there has to be a cab made for this : /
humm... ive never seen one.
i know ive removed it by accident by installing a cab that wasnt supported with my rom. good luck finding it.
btw, after you remove it, there will be a huge gap on the bottom of your screen =P

you probably didnt do anything wrong, it messes up a lot of peoples phones i think.
There are themes out there that have the background in all the tabs, i have installed a few of them and never had any of the problems i had with the cab file.
What wallpaper are you trying to use?

That works great on each tab, except home where i don't have anything. Just the wallpaper an top and bottom curtain. But no clock, no calendar, no more missed calls .....

Yes. A theme i downloaded here. Speed black i guess.
In fact each time i go back on the home tab, it keeps the spft key of the previous tab. And still no clock or calls/ calendar.

Its mun_rus's mode9 file, but with my image embedded into the manila file. I used manila editor to change that.
Im running dutty's V4 rom with no changes to manila and it works perfectly.

I tried Milillicuti's_Background.cab which was nice then tried to edit the cab file with my own wallpaper, maybe i dont know what Im doing but it stays as the same wallpaper and the big question is HOW do i remove file to go back to the default setting.

How do I uninstall this?! I installed and thought I could have my own custom wallpaper set as bg for all tabs.. DAMN!

i have a bette rquestion ? how to remove bckgrounds from the tabs? i have installed a rom, wwe george for my diamond but i dont like to have the same background for all tabs. I want the standard bckground for all tabs, just to change for the first, home screen.

TF3D Neon Tabs Theme
Still development in progress but so far I have managed to get the actual TF3D tabs to be in a type of "Neon" scheme.
I will be working heavily on this trying to go through all icons in TF3D making them Neon so there will be many updates to follow making this simply perfect.
Feedback more than welcome and opinions probably will be worked in.

The Cab file is fully un-installable so if you don't like them, just remove the program in Remove Programs and you're back to normal.

hi everyboby, sorry maybie i make a mistake by posting here, but i got a little problem, when i extract the file i didint see any cab file, even when i put it on my storage card ,i can only see a setup, then double clic, and going straight to open a web page and nothing else, i did some reseach to know how to install the cab, can soemeone please help me about that i am totaly knew in wm, i got the tp2 answsome mobile, and i really like this forum, sorry mod maybie this is the wrong place to post , but really need advise pls .

There is no need to extract the file, it's a cab anyway.
Just copy the file to your phone and open it -it installs itself.

The slide part, the button that you hold to move and slide, the "block". Can't think what its called but its the rectangle block that you slide from left to right.

I'm already using Lucarp's transparent slider.
I've attached it, so you can have a look for yourself what it does.

Looks good, I want it to be a bit narrower though I think, not 100% sure yet, haven't made my mind up. Think I'll have a play around and might incorporate it in my icon set.

Updated icons to include people section and also added transparent slider and transparent bottom curtains in so no need for extra installs.

Hi there, just want to say it works on my Touch HD Unfortunately I am using a chinese rom (Devilstone v3.7 with TouchFLO 34 2.1.38158.2), so I am not too sure if it will work with other cooked romr, just give it a try I guess~

I got since several weeks a custom rom on my HD2, the only problem it the (nice looking but bad locking) HD-Mini lockscreen, which had already been cooked into the rom.
This means shortly said - the phone really often does weird things in order to unlocking the screen, which is really to easy to unlock - especially in my pocket while walking.
So, what I want is the old one back, the stock HD2 lock screen - all this sh*t never happened before (for e.g. uploading 100%dark pics of my pocket to facebook... )
How can I do this without flashing a different rom or hardresetting?
Any ideas?

No idea - by editing the first post it is not possible..
Also I installed the file I found at the link and it is still not working also after softreset the HD-Mini screen appears..
Why not try Cookie's home tab coupled with the CHTEditor? There are lockscreen layout options... one of the options is what lockscreen style you want.
Just as the other poster stated above, without knowing what ROM you have flashed, one can guess that Co0kie's HTE was cooked into it thus leaving the locksreen activated by default.
From the Homescreen: Goto Menu-->CHTE-->Lockscreen Setting-->ensure "Enable Default Lockscreen" is on and that "Enable CHT Lockscreen is off
Scroll down and there should be 3 options with radio buttons next to each
- Manila
- Windows
- HD Mini
Choose one.
Or the problem could be with the ROM itself; it's cocked.
the mini lock screen uses a different dll so just restoring the original lockscreen file won't work, the registry needs editing to make chome use the original dll.
sorry but currently not in a position to help In more detail.
Hmm tried it with CHTEditor but did only work with cookies lockscreen... the original ones are not working - no matter what is configured, it shows the HDmini-screen.
You may need to get a ROM without it then, or get the Chef to cook one for you
Hi there ... for a while now I`m using Duttys ROMs, but I have a problem with the sensor that turns off the screen during call ... sometimes it doesn`t work properly and I keep pressing screen buttons with my cheek. I remember having an incall slide curtain on 1.43 original ROM that helped for this bug, but it`s never included in any latest ROM ....
So I`m asking for the folowing : is there a way to install just the curtain cover, or change the registry somehow in order to bring back the curtain, or it must be implemented in the ROM itself ?

i have the same problem and it's driving me nuts . also, the "tap with two fingers to shut off the screen" trick does not work with my device. windows button --> lock helps but is not reliable. maybe someone can make a custom made lock screen?
i'm looking for that too... it would be easier to have the proximity sensor issue fixed thand that (battery wise)...

making the curtain show or not is an option that you can set, and heck knows if I can remember where!
I actually want to have all those buttons always accessible (that is, I disabled the curtain) because I've never had problems with proximity on my ear and accessing all the options immediately is easier, but I uderstand it's not the same with everyone.

It depends on the Rom you`re using ... when there is a ROM with curtain Enabled by default , there are programs like BSB Tweaks that can remove the curtain ... but where the curtain is not presented at all, there is no way to enable it .... that`s what I`m asking ... isnt there a way to just flash the phone canvas, or a .cab or something to bring back the curtain on cooked ROMs ?

the s2u2 lockscreen has got the ability to lock ure phone when the connection is established.
but what about the secconds it takes until it connects?

hi everyone im trying to uninstall cookies 1.8.5 due to the menu on the home page not workin at all. it highlights when i press it but nothing happens. i cant edit home layout or wallpapers or chteditor itself. it does work from the windows menu but not the the menu tab located at the bottom right of the screen. i was messing with the home layout personalizing it as ive had it since it came out (1.8.5). i had the previous cookies version before and never had a problem (1.7.1, 1.8.0). ive installed a quite a few apps including notification colors and colors for toggle and switches made by dinik that come in the 1.8.5 version of cookies. dont think theres any issues there as ive had them for a while now. i was going to uninstall cookies and reinstall it as im sure it everything would go back to normal again, but i try to and it say "not all of the program could be deleted do you want to remove from programs list?" i press yes but doesnt even erase it from the installed programs list. im stuck dont want to hard reset unless i really have to any advice? also i uninstalled the toggle and switches colors cab and the icons themselves have dissapeared except for the text under it but they do work when i click on them. i have the tmous hd2 with stock rom 2.10.531. thank for any help
I think this was a bug in 1.8.5, for some ROM's , I think there is an updated version, maybe just install over the top both the CHT and the Editor ...
I am not sure of this but I think I read it somewhere if I see it I will post it ...
this is something else i reinstalled cht on top of it and now seems like cht is completely removed besides the editor? that was kind of weird! im goin to reinstall it one more time to see what happens!!

Have you tryed closing HTC Sense before you uninstall Cookie.
Had a problem removing a previous version of Cookie but closed Sense and then went to remove applications and it removed ok. Then just restarted Sense and everything was ok.

go to your settings tab.......
press menu (bottom right soft key)
all settings.....
today........
items tab......
uncheck sense and check windows default.....
ok..........
do what you need to do.....
just go back there to restart sense........

I have more or less the same problem: can't remove cookies home tab 1.85 from my HTC Pro 2, 6.5 device. I've read all the posts but nothing is exact the same.
I'have installed CHT 1.85 but it didn't work at all, later I tried to install CHT 2.00, the installation was not succesful because Pro 2 tries to remove CHT 1.85 first which appeared to be impossible. (Senze of, erarse RAM fully). Looks like system got froozen while undeleting. Please help because CHT looks great and very useful.Thanks
