This happen to anyone yet? Just happened to me yesterday

do you mean the USB port is broken on the phone?
if so then yes, a few people have documented this already... including myself, sprint replaced mine with a brand new one for free and listed it as a "manufacturer defect"
If you mean the charger charges for a few minutes and then quits, then it did happen to me. Going to replace it.

Charges then quits I got another charger it worked fine

EC05 issues. Sprint and sammy did a great job with it

Had refurbished Samsung android moment and it never worked the same as original. Seems to be the consensus by other Samsung Android users I've talked to. Sprint and Asurion can't fix a phone...... who would have thought.... lol.

Same here, once a day, I am testing a lot of things to pinpoint the prob.

Hi guys, I'm wondering if my phone breaks and I pay insurance. Will they replace my phone with the same one? Or have they discontinued the regular vibrant in lieu of the new 4g one on t mobile?
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
They'll likely give you another vibrant. I just had another warranty replacement and received a stock 2.1 vibrant replacement.
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
I'll probably take it in since I got one of the june or july releases because my gps routes me to hell every time

Gonna try out the epic touch battery...was definitely a tight fit in the phone, but it fits!
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA
Awesome, thanks for letting us know. I think you're the first to try one of those

I read some reviews of the battery in Amazon before I ordered it...saw some people mention using it in the epic...just wanted to share the news in case others didn't know.

I've had it for months. You will see the difference. It was stronger for the first week or 2 then lost some of its hold time but blows away my stock epic. I just ordered the anker 1800 from amazon for 11.99. Ill see how that one compares

I got the 2x Anker 1800 with charger for 22 bucks and they've been pretty good to me so far.

I think the OEM might hold it's life longer than Anker, I also have one and I enjoy having the small boost in battery life

This. Lol if it was only $9 more for OEM it was more than worth it.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using xda premium
Clue, how much did you pay for an OEM 1800, if you don't mind me asking?
Sent from my SPH-D700 using xda premium
Paid $21...free shipping. Amazon...

Guess I'm the lucky one. My local Sprint store rep just handed me one and said, "Here ya go! Let me know how it works for ya!"
So far, battery life is MUCH better on CM9/AOKP vs. stock battery.

You can get 2 1800mah batteries on eBay for $12 and free shipping.
Also I've heard talk of a compatible 3500mah battery on Amazon (?). Going to check that out today.

Those are not genuine oem batteries. They are Hong Kong knock offs.

I want to verify that we are talking about using a battery designed for an Epic touch in and Epic slider. I have an SPH D700 that I need the best battery I can find without the backside footprint of the phone changing. Otherwise I wont be able to dock in my car anymore
I use the mp3 feature of my phone, all day, every day (podcasts and audible). Within weeks of a new battery (stock) I barely make it til 2pm before having to charge. If I can't find a battery that can carry the load I'm going to just have two and a drop in charger, switching them out during my usually 10 hour long work days.
Thanks in advance everyone.
Yes the Epic Touch Galaxy S2 1800 mAh battery fits perfectly and gives you 20% more battery life.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using xda premium
so the battery life is better i bought one and had overheating issues and never went back
So these buttons randomly just stopped working on my phone. IM sure they were working earlier today but it's weird that there all in a straight line. I'm not sure if this is ROM or kernel related but does anyone know what may be the problem?I tried rebooting that didn't help.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
That happened to me on CM7, I just reflashed the Rom and it started working again.

Good luck with software fix. I had the same problem and brought it to the repair center. Sprint fixed it for free.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk 2
If software doesn't fix it you'll just need your keyboard replaced. Its an easy fix, free if you have TEP, $35 if you don't.
On the off chance they don't have the parts (they should, we have so many at my store), they'll offer to exchange but I would be hesitant to do that. The quality of the epic refurbs we've gotten in lately has been sub par. In that case, I would call another repair center and see if they have the part.

Thanks for all the tips and advice but luckily flashing CM7 fixed I for me =) lol. Freaked the hell out of me at first though.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
So after flashing cm7 for a day the problem came back. So I'm guessing it may be more phone related then ROM related. I reflashed cm7 and eventually it got all fixed.
Does anyone know the actual reason why this does happen?

Is any one else having this problem. It takes my phone 6hours to charge to 100% using the provided charger.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using xda premium
That's how my One was and was one of the main reasons I switched to the S4 Active. No such problems here. I forgot to charge it last night and tossed it on at 8am with 40% on it. By 9:15 it was full.

I find its always best to turn off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, data, and sync when charging to get the fastest result.
Sent from my SGH-M919
More then likely its just a short in my cord, but was curious if any one else had the problem
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using xda premium
this is likely a problem with the cord or adapter. your device should be charging much quicker than this. have you tried another cable?
Even with everything turned on it should not take that long. For the whole 6 hours did it say it was charging?

New MF4 international ROM? If so it charges slow with screen on. Still shouldn't be that slow though. Download Galaxy Charging Current lite and see if the your getting between 1200 and 1900 mA

The s4 is probably the fastest charging phone I've ever had.. It charges to full from any percentage in about an hour.. Maybe bad outlet?

I checked the continiuty in the wire and was getting a lot of resistance. Bought a new cord.
