I have a 8525 and I need some help.
two things, I'd like to get WM6 and keep all the stuff I have put on it. second, I have no clue how to set the WiFi.
Now here is my question;
would anyone in Brooklyn, NY care to help me out and do this for me? I'll bring the beer! Just one catch... I don't have a computer.
I hate to make this my first post, but kinda had to.
pretty please with a cherry on top!
Read HERE. It will help you alot.
Also MAKE SURE YOU READ THIS!!!
You're welcome in Holland........
i've done so much reading...
but to be honest, I need someone to show me in person so I can understand.
But thanks for the links, I have already used the search.
my offer for beer still stands for help, I'm willing to meet up within NYC.
I get it... does anyone want money to help me instead of beer?
or is it a trust issue because of I'm new guy here?
I'm sure if you were a blond with a couple of nice boobs you had 20 offers already. But hey sometimes things aren't always as we want it

Wait a minute - no one mentioned boobs before. I'll fly in from Michigan if you need help... oh wait... damn. Misread that. Oh well.
Actually, you may want to PM austnsync - I think he is an NY guy. He may be available or know someone.
You guys crack me up!
sorry but yes i'm a man, although i'm blonde with a shaved/bald head I don't go that way. If you want some boobies I'll gladly put some pictures up
hopefully there will be someone will see this cry for help and offer some.
As for credentials, check out itrca.com's forums. I'm a mod and member there for a long time.
So beer and money is not attractive enough and I can't find any hood rats for you... What will it take to get some help?
(watched ''40 year old virgin'' last night)
You want someone to go to your house and set your phone up with WM6 and whatever else you may want? What if after they have left, you run into some huge problem? Are you then going to ask for someone else to come help fix it? I don't mean to sound like an ass but the stuff you want done is really easy. If not having a computer is a problem, then surely you must have at least one good friend with a computer who will let you set your phone up. If so, here are 3 links that should help a lot.
http://www.mrvanx.org/cms/
^ This link is a "how to" install WM6
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=355
^ There are newer and better roms in this link here.
Last but certainly not least.. the holy grail of information about anything you could ever want to do to your phone is here:

Basically Yes,
I just got myself a new laptop and now I deffinately need help.
I'd be willing to meet up with anyone who knows how to upgrade my 8525 and get the sync working.
I'm not going to hold anyone responsible for messing up as long as it was unintentional
What I'm looking for is some instructional help, show me what to do and walk away.
I really suck at computer stuff, Really suck!
I have looked through those links and to be honest, it's like a different language
Beer, Coffee, money, whatever is needed to get me some honest help.
Or should I just go to GeekSquad and let them have a shot at this?
So not one person needs some extras cash?
Recently, my husband started with the potential problem and our relations are deadlocked.
After all, I love sex ... I encouraged him to go to the doctor, and he is afraid.
Maybe someone who will help us, tell of impotence pills and where to buy them anonymously. In advance thank you to all who help!
Sorry if in the wrong section leave a message!

If you can send it back and get original one, do it.
Can someone that works for sprint get a hold of me? I need some help here, or sprint (the company) can kiss my rear end.

Pretty general thread if you ask me, bud.
1-800-927-2199 if you want to talk with someone with brains at Sprint.
I still have a question to ask someone who works at sprint and has some brains in their head.

Maybe you're not asking the right way. How about "Is there anybody at Sprint at isn't a complete f&%^head?"
That should get people interested in helping you out.
As long as I'm here, can you be more specific about the nature of your question? There are employees...and then there are customer care reps. Only one of these groups can access your account info.
Here's a rep for you,I heard he's the best in town,he even designed the samsung instinct and told me it would kill the iphone!

you can find him by screaming that the iphone is infact comming to sprint.
You can't expect people to help you if you don't tell us what the problem is, give us the information, and we'll do what we can to help you.
Unfortunately, we won't be able to help you with anything that concerns changes on the network side, but we will be able to point you in the right to direction to find a resolution to your problem.

I've been communicating with someone about this and am currently trying to get it resolved as we speak. To all who have their panties up in a bunch, sorry, might wanna check into getting that fixed, and to all who have offered any assistance, I appreciate it.

You come to a dev forum of a phone looking for assistance with sprint. This is not the place to do that. If you have an issue with the advice we may be able to offer device but any customer care and or network related issue cant be resolved here and its kind of ridiculous to think so.
you do know the sprint has forums of their own if you wanted to demand assistance...coming here and demanding someone 'from' sprint to tend to your need is a pretty ***** move if you ask me.....especially without giving any information about your problem....
just my $.02
Oh thats great, everyone can ***** this guy out for making a demanding thread yet my post gets deleted.....
Sorry if there is something about this i might of missed search dident help to much.

i believe that comment was because this has been addressed a LOT!! when new users ask questions without doing a little research on their own first people are less likely to help you in this forum. just a heads up for next time. good luck finding the information you need and next time try to spend a little time reading previous posts to find answers first. take care

The reasons why people less likely to help are
1) they don't really have enough or reliable information to give you an exact answer.
2)It is angry when you answer question like this: 1000times
are you a boy?yes
what is your name?noob
are you a boy?yes
what is your name?noob
are you a male?yes
what is your first name?freaking
you sure you are a boy?yes
what is your name again? freaking noob.......
.......
However, mostly XDA users are polite. please read and search...Before you start a thread, if you are lazy...press ALT+F4,it definitely help you heaps.....
