hello guys..i am a noob for all these about flashing a new radio..!
I have a GREEK stock ROM with radio 2.06.5107U..!!
i want to upgrade it to use the android or haret on my HD2 but i dont know what version of radio to use so thats why i dont want to brick my phone like some HD2S with Tmous..!can you please direct me to so i can procceed without to have fear to lost my HD2???

any radio will work for your phone. You do not have to worry like tmous, that problem does not affect you.
I think the radio for use with android is 2.10.50.x so use that one.

My network signal in my HD is always low and sometimes does not exict !
So ,, is it because my radio is an old version ! ,,
or is it because of something else ?!

Sounds like a radio issue. You should try flashing one of the latest versions. You'll need USPL or HSPL on device first before you can flash a new radio

Latest official radio's & roms
Read instructions at bottom of Radio link. You need to have either USPL or HSPL on your device to flash radio or rom
Some of the latest cooked roms come with latest radio included, I believe latest UK orange rom also comes with this radio

If you use USPL, warranty will be fine, if you use HSPL warranty will be void. You can however return to stock SPL even after using HSPL, but if your phone breaks while HSPL is on device, warranty is void.

I'm here in HK for a long period and I'd like to buy a HTC HD2 here that is cheaper than in Italy.
My only concern is that if I can flash it without problem in order to use a new cooked ROM in italian .
What does it mean WWE ? I read WWE in some ROM but I don't known what it means

Hi friend, WWE stands for world wide English....I also bought my HD2 from Hongkong, and the original ROM installed is also the WWE version, means everything is in English, not in Hongkong's native language...Flashing to another ROM is not a problem, just make sure you follow the procedure correctly (HSPL, etc..etc...)

Hey all, i have some problems with radio. I checked all threads and didn't found anything on this1. I've done hspl or smth like that to 2.08.
The thing is about radio, currently i can't do further and i got white screen + green htc logo and stuck at it, as far as i know i need radio update.
I tried that, eventhough i'm stuck at 0%, the thing is i have NOT t-mobile as most ppl here have, i have htc hd2, it was bought in lithuania officially and i'm not sure which radio version or whateva i need or what i do wrong! Sry if i posted in wrong section or did smth wrong, anyway i need help! don't wanna brick my phone, just bought it few hours ago and can't use it

your hd2 is not unique; the majority have non-tmobile. actually there are many threads with your exact complaint.
but what you need to figure out is if you have hspl on it or not. you say you may have done it but then say 2.08 which seems more like spl.
so boot into bootloader, what does it say? then we can go from there!
2.08.HSPL, btw i found 1 user, he's from same country and city, propably got phone from lithuania too, he got in his sign: Radio v2.15.50.14 ;

If you boot into bootloader as the a ove post said you can check your SPL versiin this way. If you don't know how to do this just turn your HD2 off and then turn your HD2 back on but hd down the volume down button.The muticolor bootloader screen will come up. If you see SPL 2.08.0000 you have regular SPL. If you see SPL 2.08 HSPL then you have HSPL(Hard SPL) on your HD2. You should also se Cottula in the bootloader as well if you ha e HSPL.
You have a EU model HD2 so you can flash any radio version you want to flash and not brick your HD2. The issue of bricking a HD2 is only relavant to the T-Mobile(TMOUS) HD2. I suggest you flash radio version 2.15.50.14 it is the latest radio and the majority of poeple really like it.

Yeah MAGLDR requires a TMOUS compatible radio version to work. That is why you were having trouble before but gou have a TMOUS compatible radio version now so MAGLDR works. Hope you enjoy your HD2, and glad you got it working. I got your PM too by the way.

I searched a while but could not find a solution for my problem...
I am using a HTC HD2 branded and "locked" by T-Mobile Germany.
Using my S/N I can not download original HTC-ROMs.
So my only option is using TMO-Roms from their website... :-/
I want to install NAND-Version of Android because WinMo is so embarassing. Especially the "Marketplace" is really NOT good... -.-
I tried to follow the manuals on your pages, but I can not find a hint for my problem...
Do I have to "break" anything to get any other Rom running?
I found sth. called "GoldCard" but... oh my god... Very complicated!
I hope you guys can help me.

Hspl4, choose 2.08.hspl
can now flash anything, but use USB, not SD.
you will want to change radio first as things needed for android require high version radios. Go for 2.15.50.x radio.
If your current winmo rom is version 3.14 you wont need to change radio.
I've the same phone:
HD2 HTC with german t-mobile software, but it is not branded on the cover.
Also it says it has 512mb of rom and 448 of ram
SO I think it should be the EU HTC, and i should use rom and guides for the EU version
