Full Instructions for getting WM6, RealVGA, Office and IE
LINGUA ITALIANA
Guida aggiornata e semplificata. Ringraziamo Paul O'Brien per lo share dei file.
Tutti i file verranno inseriti alla fine del post dentro le cartelle zippate.
Controllate spesso questa pagina, sarà sempre aggiornatissima.
ORA VERRA' ELENCATO IL METODO SOFT PER APPORTARE LE MODIFICHE AL SISTEMA OPERATIVO WINDOWS MOBILE.
IN FONDO ALLA PAGINA SI TROVA IL METODO HARD, QUINDI L'INSTALLAZIONE DI UNA NUOVA ROM.
1 - ABILITARE LE FUNZIONI DI WINDOWS MOBILE 6 PRO
- Andate in SnapVUE.
- Aprite la posta elettronica, cliccate su menu - nuovo.
- Vi verrà aperta una nuova mail. Qui cliccate su menu - inserisci - immagine.
- Cliccate in alto a sinistra su immagini - dispositivo - ed aprite la cartella di windows, con l'ausilio delle frecce della tastiera posizionatevi sopra la cartella Start Menu e qui schiacciate ctrl-c (copia), poi entrate dentro la cartella Settings e schiacciate ctrl-v (incolla). Potrebbe uscire un messaggio di errore che dicita : "errore impossibile copiare internet explorer memoria insufficente". Non preoccupatevi, nessun problema, proseguite con le operazioni elencate.
- Uscite e ritornate nella schermata principale di SnapVUE, entrate nelle impostazioni, qui troverete la cartella contenente il file explorer. PER ORA NON TOCCATE NULLA.
- (se non avete una connessione internet utilizzate il trik descritto nel punto 2 e trasferitevi il file Sblocco.cab e sblocco.lnk dentro windows mobile) Ora dovrete inviare all'account della posta gestito da SnapVUE il file Sblocco.cab e sblocco.lnk e salvateli nella cartella personale.
- Entrate nel programma file explorer che trovate dentro la cartella programmi e cliccate sul file sblocco.lnk che avete appena copiato, acconsentite a tutto.
- Andate in Vista, e sciacciate il tasto connmanager (tasto in alto a destra del dispositivo), andate in Impostazioni avanzate e cliccate su ripristina SnapVUE.
- Attendete il ravvio, poi avrete accesso completo a Windows Mobile 6 professional.
2 - AVERE ACCESSO A WINDOWS MOBILE 6 DAL LATO VISTA
- Lato Vista, Disattivate wi-fi e bluetooth.
- Lato WM6, Andate in programmi - condivisione internet, tappate su connetti, apparirà la scritta "controlla connessione usb", andate nel lato vista e sentirete il classico suono di periferica usb connessa-sconnessa; assicuratevi che le connessione internet rimanga attiva; Ora ritornate in Windows Mobile 6 e cliccate su disconnetti. Sentirete il solito suono.
Bene siete connessi, andate nel lato Vista, e cercate il portatile tra le periferiche connesse.
questo sistema dovrete utilizzarlo ogni volta che avete la necessità di trasferire file sul lato Windows Mobile 6.
3 - INSTALLARE LE VOCI MANCANTI IN OGGI
- Procedere con il punto 2 per portare in Windows Mobile 6 il file Ripristino Oggi.CAB contenuto nella cartella Ripristino Oggi.zip.
- Nel lato Windows Mobile eseguite il file Ripristino Oggi.CAB.
- Portate a termine l'installazione e cancellate il file Ripristino Oggi.CAB
- Ora avete tutti gli elementi di Oggi ripristinati.
4 - INSTALLARE INTERNET EXPLORER 6.1
- Procedere con il punto 2 per portare in Windows Mobile 6 il file Internet Explorer.CAB contenuto nella cartella Internet Explorer.zip.
- Nel lato Windows Mobile eseguite il file Internet Explorer.CAB
- Portate a termine l'installazione e cancellate il file Internet Explorer.CAB
- Ora avete accesso ad internet.
5 - INSTALLARE NOTE
- Procedere con il punto 2 per portare in Windows Mobile 6 il file Note.CAB contenuto nella cartella Note.zip.
- Nel lato Windows Mobile eseguite il file Note.CAB
- Portate a termine l'installazione e cancellate il file Note.CAB
- Ora avete accesso all'applicazione Note.
6 - INSTALLARE WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER MOBILE
- Procedere con il punto 2 per portare in Windows Mobile 6 il file WindowsMediaPlayer.CAB contenuto nella cartella WindowsMediaPlayer.zip.
- Nel lato Windows Mobile eseguite il file WindowsMediaPlayer.CAB
- Portate a termine l'installazione e cancellate il file WindowsMediaPlayer.CAB
- Ora avete accesso all'applicazione Windows Media Player Mobile.
7 - INSTALLARE VISUALIZZATORE IMMAGINI
- Procedere con il punto 2 per portare in Windows Mobile 6 il file Visualizzatore immagini.CAB contenuto nella cartella Visualizzatore immagini.zip.
- Nel lato Windows Mobile eseguite il file Visualizzatore immagini.CAB
- Portate a termine l'installazione e cancellate il file Visualizzatore immagini.CAB
- Ora avete accesso all'applicazione Visualizzatore Immagini.
8 - INSTALLARE IL PAD TELFONICO (non serve a nulla, ma se per sfizio lo volete mettere.....)
- Procedere con il punto 2 per portare in Windows Mobile 6 il file Telefono.CAB contenuto nella cartella Telefono.zip.
- Nel lato Windows Mobile eseguite il file Telefono.CAB
- Portate a termine l'installazione e cancellate il file Telefono.CAB
- Ora avete accesso al Pad Telefonico.
9 - INSTALLARE IL DESKTOP REMOTO
- Procedere con il punto 2 per portare in Windows Mobile 6 il file Desktop Mobile Remoto.CAB contenuto nella cartella Desktop Mobile Remoto.zip.
- Nel lato Windows Mobile eseguite il file Desktop Mobile Remoto.CAB
- Portate a termine l'installazione e cancellate il file Desktop Mobile Remoto.CAB
- Ora potete utilizzare la funzione di desktop remoto.
10 - INSTALLARE OFFICE MOBILE 2007 ITALIANO
- Procedere con il punto 2 per portare in Windows Mobile 6 il file office 2007 Italiano.CAB contenuto nella cartella zippata office 2007 Italiano.zip
- Nel lato Windows Mobile eseguite il file office 2007 Italiano.CAB
- Portate a termine l'installazione e cancellate il file office 2007 Italiano.CAB
- Ora potete utilizzare Office 2007.
11 - INSTALLARE REALVGA
- Procedere con il punto 2 per portare in Windows Mobile 6 i file RealVGA_11.CAB e il file ResPack96dpi.ARM.CAB per la visualizzazione di windows mobile alla risoluzione di 96 dpi, oppure il file
ResPack128dpi.ARM.CAB per la visualizzazione a 128 dpi (consiglio quest'ultimo per una visualizzazione perfetta!!) contenuto nella cartella zippata Realvga.zip.
- Volendo potete installare tutte e due le risoluzioni, ma occuperanno troppo spazio, e come saprete di spazio ce ne poco.
- Nel lato Windows Mobile eseguite i due file
- Portate a termine l'installazione vi verrà chiesto di riavviare, riavviate e cancellate i due file.
- Ora dentro la cartella programmi troverete l'icona realvga, ora scegliete i dpi di risoluzione e confermate.
12 - ABILITARE LA SIDEBAR IN VISTA
METODO A
- Andate in start - esegui - scrivete gpedit.msc e date invio.
- Vi troverete dentro Windows Management Console. Avrete due voci in Criteri computer locale, Configurazione computer e configurazione utente.
- Andate in Configuarazione computer | Modelli amministrativi | Componenti di Windows | Windows Sidebar -- Alla voce " Disattiva Windows Sidebar" entrate in prorpietà, spuntate "Attivata" e cliccate su applica. Riaprite la finestra Prorpietà, spuntate su "Non configurata" e cliccate su applica.
- Ora ritornate indietro con le cartelle ed entrate in Configurazione utente | Modelli amministrativi | Componenti di Windows | Windows Sidebar -- Alla voce " Disattiva Windows Sidebar" entrate in prorpietà, spuntate "Attivata" e cliccate su applica. Riaprite la finestra Prorpietà, spuntate su "Non configurata" e cliccate su applica.
- Chiudete la Management Console.
- Avviate Windows Sidebar da start - programmi - accessori.
METODO B
- Andate sul sito della HTC e scaricatevi l'hotfix per abilitare la Sidebar QUI!!
13 - AIUTO SONO IN PANICO HO BLOCCATO TUTTO!!!!!
- HARD RESET -
Metodo per ripristinare il lato Snapvue alle condizioni di fabbrica, anche se il lato snapvue non sembra rispondere più ai comandi anche eseguendo il ripristino di snapVUE dal lato Vista.
- Andate sul sito della HTC (cliccate qui per scaricare) e scaricate il tool per il reset di SnapVue da Vista
- Eseguitelo.
- Ora snapVUE sarà come quando l'avrete acquistato.
- Il programma potete scaricarlo anche da qui sotto.
ROM ITALIANA
- Vi posto il link dove trovare la Rom Italiana da installare, creata e postata dall'utente davidgreen.
Nel caso necessitiate di supporto per tale rom, prego di chiedere a lui le informazioni che desiderate.
Se avete problemi vi prego di scrivere..
Da ora posterò in questi link, ho superato il numero massimo di file postati.

grandeeeee adesso mi diverto
ho un problema stranissimo, sul mio SHIFT, ho messo una MINI SD da 256 mb. (la prima che ho trovato a casa). da windows la vedo tranquillamente... e ci scrivo e faccio la qualunque.... mentre da SNAP VUE non me la vede e non mi abilita di salvare le email nella scheda aggiuntiva... cosa può essere l'errore?
come risolvo? qualcuno mi può aiutare?

the memory card is not installed! and the function to store the email on the memory card is disabled! where is the problem?
ho messo una mini sd nel mio dispositivo X9500.
la memoria viene "VISTA" e usata correttamente da windows vista ma và in errore su SnapVUE.
se apro SnapVUE, mi dice che la scheda SD non è installata e per tanto non mi abilita il salvataggio delle email sulla memoria aggiuntiva.
come mai?
qual'è il problema?
come posso aggirare il tutto?
per me è importante vedere e salvare le email nella modalità SnapVUE!

on SnapVue mode the sd-card slot is locked by manufacturer or other....
probably snapvue hasn't drivers.
the "shift project team" is working to activate any locked features such as gps, sd card slot, bluetooth, etc...

- Go In SnapVUE.
- Open mail, tap on menu - new.

- Portate a termine l'installazione e cancellate il file Internet Explorer.CAB
- Ora avete accesso ad internet.

- Nel lato Windows Mobile eseguite il file Note.CAB

6 - Installare Windows Media Player Mobile
- Procedere con il punto 2 per portare in Windows Mobile 6 il file WindowsMediaPlayer.CAB contenuto nella cartella WindowsMediaPlayer.zip.
- Nel lato Windows Mobile eseguite il file WindowsMediaPlayer.CAB
- Portate a termine l'installazione e cancellate il file WindowsMediaPlayer.CAB
- Ora avete accesso all'applicazione Windows Media Player Mobile.
7 - Installare Visualizzatore Immagini
- Procedere con il punto 2 per portare in Windows Mobile 6 il file Visualizzatore immagini.CAB contenuto nella cartella Visualizzatore immagini.zip.

- Portate a termine l'installazione e cancellate il file Visualizzatore immagini.CAB

- Nel lato Windows Mobile eseguite il file office 2007 Italiano.CAB
- Portate a termine l'installazione e cancellate il file office 2007 Italiano.CAB
- Ora potete utilizzare Office 2007.
11 - Installare RealVGA.
- Procedere con il punto 2 per portare in Windows Mobile 6 i file RealVGA_11.CAB e il file ResPack96dpi.ARM.CAB per la visualizzazione di windows mobile alla risoluzione di 96 dpi, oppure il file

12 - HARD RESET - Metodo per ripristinare il lato Snapvue alle condizioni di fabbrica, anche se il lato snapvue non sembra rispondere più ai comandi anche eseguendo il ripristino di snapVUE dal lato Vista.
- Scaricare la cartella Reset e copiatela nella root dell'harddisk ( C:\reset\ )
- All'interno troverete questi tre file: Reset.bat - Hard_reset.exe - test.exe
- Dal lato Vista entrate dentro "Centro gestione dispositivi Windows Mobile" cliccate su "Impostazioni dispositivo portatile" ed entrate in "Impostazioni connessione". Qui deselezionate tutte le caselle, e lasciate in
automatico "il PC è connesso a:". Confermate con ok.
- Ora entrate nella cartella c:\Reset\ ed eseguite il file Reset.bat
- Ora sempre nella cartella c:\Reset\ eseguite il file Test.exe. Vi si aprirà un menù a tendina "Open port setting" e sul menù a tendina "Port:" segliete USB.
- Si aprirà il programma, qui scrivete il seguente comando: task 28
- SnapVue eseguira l'Hard reset.
- Spegnete tutto, estrarre la batteria, reinserirla ed accendete.
- Ora snapVUE sarà come quando l'avrete acquistato.
13 - Abilitare la Sidebar in Vista

ciao killer scusami, sono proprio incasinato, ho fatto un casino, con lo sblocco di wm6, mi è sparita tutta la schermata delle impostazioni, come posso fare per fare ritornare wm6 allo stato naturale? forse ho cancellato i setting non funziona niente, solo windows vista , ti prego aiutami!!!

Ma sei messo ancora come prima? quel casino che hai fatto tu l'abbiamo fatto in tre persone prima di te..
Era stato creato un trick per risolvere il problema... Ma non riesco più a trovare quel maledetto post.. appeno lo trovo lo traduco e lo metto qui!!

Ecco come risolvere il tuo problema... Era successo anche a me e ho risolto con questa!!!!
Whenever I sent emails, they did not appear as notifications.
So i sent a text message to my SIM. Lo and behold a notifcation.
I selected reply and cancelled the message.
This then gave me access to the outlook email tool and the browser functionality that has become our saviour
From here, I copied the whole Windows folder to My Docs. It errored, however, inside was one of the theme files.
I then copied separately the Startup folder to My Docs.
So to save on data usage, I created a new email included the theme file. Cancelled the send and receive, then moved file from drafts to inbox. This let me open the mail and "save as" to which I selected the My Docs\Startup folder.
Then using the browser functionality I copied and pasted the startup folder from My docs to Windows.
Extract the battery, and when powered back on, the startup process launched the theme manager and Today page settings.
Enabled SnapVUE.

fà me not to create the folder explorer, it says to me that the rows è' blocked or protect |, oltretutto I have created two cartelle new, I can cancel? rieco solo nella prima parte poi niente!

You have to disabled first realvga.
Open Windows media player, go to setting - catalog - and deactivate "open catalog at startup"
Close Windows Media Player.
Now you can re-active RealVga and your windows media player work correctly!!

For Install, deactivate touch element in settings - system - today, next copy the 2 files (or only the exe if you have xml file of new city)in windows folder on your device, next make a soft reset and reactivate touch element in today settings. Now you will have all city in database and now upgrades will work perfectly!!!!!!!!!!!

Per l'installazione è facile, disattivate il touch in impostazioni - sistema - oggi - elementii, collegate il telefono al pc e copiate i 2 file estratti nella cartella windows del vostro dispositivo, fatto ciò fate un soft reset e riattivate il touch sempre in impostazioni - sistema - oggi - elementi. Ora avrete tutte le città italiane da inserire e non avrete più problemi di aggiornamento!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted to let you know of an interesting change potentially applicable to any customized Rom.
I state that I follow the Android world for some time, I have rarely made 'active part' in the media and in forums, but I wanted to tell you this.
Let's talk about change the animations of the graphic interface of android, HTCSense or Aosp-based (like OpenDesire or DeFrost or..).
The change can potentially apply to any rom in use on any phone model.
Owning a Htc Magic 32b and Desire (stupid vodafone, made me wait 2 months for the nexus one, then I send them to hell ..) I present the guidelines for application of animation on this model (HTC DESIRE).
I will not go over, step intended to illustrate the steps to quickly apply these customizations (requires basic knowledge of shell / terminal / command line - call it what you want, depending on the your OS. I use Linux, Windows and OSX - take as an example the Linux OS):

0) Make a Nandroid Backup
1) Download and install the environment Android SDK, downloadable from here -> http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
2) Download the packages for 'Metamorph' from the links contained in this address: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=774738
There are 4 packages corresponding to the 4 animations.
(Note: These animations can be applied directly as packed by Metamorph (downloadable from the market), only that the transaction requires full access r/w to the directory /system, this is not possible with the HTC Desire (not really a dev- Phone), to write to this device a dir /system it's only possible via recovery)
3) Connect the HTC Desire to the PC with the USB cable and enable the option 'Debug USB' Settings-> Applications-> Development.
4) Open a terminal and stand in the path /tools where you have installed the Android SDK in paragraph 1 (eg -> / home/frank17/android-sdk-linux_x86/tools
5) Now take from the phone file '/system/framework/framework-res.apk', responsible for the appearance of what is displayed by the UI, with this command:
#./Adb pull/system/framework/framework-res.apk
6) Now we will have on the local file 'framework-res.apk', we'll find it in precisely this path '/your_home/android-sdk-linux_x86/tools'. It 's a compressed file, and you can open it with any archive manager, like 7zip).
(Idem (it's the same) for the package downloaded in step 2. If we open one of 4, we can see its contents, and these are all files .xml that modify the animations, which we copy into our 'framework-res.apk' , precisely in the path /res/anim. You have to overwrite all, as explained in the next step)
7) Edit the original file ns 'framework-res.apk', opening with the archive manager, stay in the path /res/anim.
Then we open with another instance of the archive manager of a package of four animations, such as' Flying-animation.zip ', we move in framework-res/res/anim and copy all the files. Xml inside of our same file path 'framework-res.apk'
8) Save the new file framework-res.apk.
9) Reboot the Hct Desire in recovery (still connected via usb), I use clockwork, but Amon_Ra it's the same.
10) Into special section, mount the directory /system
11) From the OS shell on your Pc, we'll push new file framework-res.apk in the path /system/framework of your phone, with this command:
#./adb push framework-res.apk /system/ framework
12) We perform a wipe of Dalvik-cache (fundamental)
13) Reboot your Phone
14) Enjoy the new animation 'Fly effect'. There you can view with any operation to open popup windows (for example, menu-> background-> background = selection will notice that the window on the screen you get when you fly, rather than with the simple zoom effect, they're ispirated everything from compiz)

volevo mettervi a conoscenza di una modifica interessante potenzialmente applicabile a qualsiasi Rom Customizzata.
Premetto che seguo il mondo Android da diverso tempo, raramente mi sono reso parte 'attiva' nel supporto e nei forum, ma questa volevo dirvela.
Parliamo di modificare le animazioni dell'interfaccia grafica di android, sia Aosp-based sia HTCSense.
La modifica potenzialmente potete applicarla su qualsiasi rom in uso su qualsiasi modello di cellulare.
Possedendo un Htc Magic 32b e un Htc Desire (maledetta vodafone, mi ha fatto aspettare 2 mesi il nexus one, poi li ho mandati a quel paese..) presenterò la guida per l'applicazione delle animazioni su quest'ultimo modello.
Non mi dilungo oltre, passo direttamente ad illustrarvi i passi per applicare velocemente queste personalizzazioni (è richiesta una base di conoscenza su shell/terminale/riga di comando - chiamatela come volete, in base al Vs OS. Io uso Linux, Windows e OSX - prenderò come esempio l'os Linux):

0) Fate un backup del sistema con Nandroid
1) Scaricate e installate sul Vs PC l'ambiente Android SDK, scaricabile da qui -> http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
2) Scaricate i pacchetti per 'Metamorph' dai link contenuti in questo indirizzo: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=774738
Sono 4 pacchetti corrispondenti alle 4 animazioni.
(nota: queste animazioni così impacchettate possono essere applicate direttamente da Metamorph (scaricabile dal market), solo che l'operazione richiede accesso full r/w alla directory /system, cosa non possibile con l'HTC Desire (non è propriamente un dev-Phone), per questo device la scrittura in /system è possibile solo via recovery)
3) Collegate l'HTC Desire al pc con il cavo USB e abilitate l'opzione 'Debug USB' da Impostazioni->Applicazioni-> Sviluppo.
4) Aprite un terminale e posizionatevi nel path /tools dove è stata installata l'SDK Android al punto 1 (es. -> /home/frank17/android-sdk-linux_x86/tools
5) Adesso preleveremo dal telefono il file '/system/framework/framework-res.apk', responsabile dell'aspetto di quel che viene visualizzato dall'UI, con questo comando:
# ./adb pull /system/framework/framework-res.apk
6) Ora avremo in locale il file 'framework-res.apk', precisamente lo troveremo in questo path '/tua_home/android-sdk-linux_x86/tools'. E' un file compresso, ed è possibile aprirlo con un qualsiasi gestore di archivi, tipo 7zip).
(Idem per i package scaricati al punto 2. Se apriamo uno dei 4, possiamo visualizzarne il contenuto e questi non sono altro che i file .xml che modificano le animazioni, che dovremo copiare all'interno del nostro 'framework-res.apk', precisamente all'interno del path /res/anim. Dovete sovrascrivere tutto, come illustrato al punto successivo)
7) Modifichiamo il ns originale file 'framework-res.apk', aprendolo con il gestore di archivi, posizioniamoci all'interno del path /res/anim.
Poi apriamo con un'altra istanza del gestore di archivi uno dei quattro package di animazioni, ad esempio 'Flying-animation.zip', spostiamoci in framework-res/res/anim e copiamo tutti i file .xml presenti all'interno dell'omonimo path del ns file 'framework-res.apk'
8) Salviamo il file framework-res.apk.
9) Riavviamo l'Htc Desire in recovery (sempre collegato via usb), io uso clockwork, ma anche Amon_ra va bene uguale.
10) Dalla sezione apposita, montiamo la directory /system
11) Da shell dobbiamo pushare il nuovo file framework-res.apk all'interno del sistema, con questo comando:
# ./adb push framework-res.apk /system/framework
12) Eseguiamo il wipe della Dalvik-cache (fondamentale)
13) Riavviate il telefono.
14) Godetevi la nuova animazione ' Fly effect'. La potete visualizzare con qualunque operazione che apra finestre di popup (ad esempio, menu-> sfondo-> selezione sfondo= noterete che la finestra vi arriva sullo schermo volando, anzichè con il semplice effetto zoom, hanno preso tutto da compiz )

My one got into a bootloop, too. But I have LeeDroid with the blue carbon theme.
I'm using the Fly In Animations with Metamorp (with latest CM nighly). The phone seems faster with these animations - it's a kind of placebo. I hope CM will use these UI-tunnings.
Something similar happens with the animations in the RodriguezStyle (sp) MIUI rom. It looks nice, i wish i could do **** like this!
As with all Metamorphs, I get a boot loop. defrost 6.0e
Will give it another go after restore.
Do I need to start with a standard framework-res.apk? I currently have one from UOT Kitchen

Ho un problema, vi spiego, passo passo, ciò che ho eseguito al mio Huawei P8 Lite ALE-L21 della categoria c432b633, cioè SIM singola!
Ho eseguito il root del telefono con successo, pur sapendo che non è più coperto di garanzia, mi serviva poi a poter collegare il joypad della PS3 (che si è collegata alla perfezione). Ma purtroppo, per mia curiosità, volevo cercare di "nascondere" il root per Pokémon GO, mi è stata consigliata, in base alle ricerche eseguite, di dover prima installare il Magisk, e dopodiché effettuare un'impostazione (che in questo momento non me lo ricordo). Ma si tratta dell'installazione del Magisk che mi ha dato problemi.
1 - Il nuovo aggiornamento della Huawei non permette (anche se rootato) l'installazione del Magisk;
2 - In un'altra guida (cosa che dovevo pur stare attento) c'è scritto di rinominare il file di sistema /system/app/HwOUC/HwOUC.apk in HwOPT.bak ed installare una patch update_EVA-B528Patch01.zip
attraverso il TWRP
Fatto questo, Lo smartphone si è briccato, perché non sono stato attento alla compatibilità.

I have another device (Honor 6X), but have you already tried with third-party services like FunkyHuawei/DC-Phoenix? They aren't free, but the cost to unbrick the device is irrelevant compared to other costs, plus you'll be able to unbrick the phone through fastboot mode (always if your phone get to that point without issues!). Just google "funkyhuawei unbrick" or "dc phoenix unbrick", and in both cases the first result you'll get will be the one you're looking for. Hope this helps. There are other methods to unbrick the device, like dload method, but it requires to have an accessible internal/external storage in way to copy necessary update.app files on and an accessible recovery in way to flash the files through it. Hope this helps.

Installation steps (if the automatic upgrade fails, you could try manual upgrade):
Auto update:
1. Extract downloaded RAR
2. Copy extracted files (update_auto.zip and update_audo.txt to the root directory of the USB device.
3. Insert the USB device into the 6P cable of the car's USB. The machine defaults to USB6P line upgrade.
4. Power on Head Unit (If not on before)
An On-Screen display will appear - notifying about system update is in progress - don't touch anything in this progress,
sit back and wait. Update will take 15 minutes do not power off in the middle, wait to complete the upgrade and then it will automatically restart.
Manual upgrade: Rename update_auto.zip and update_auto.txt to update.zip and update.txt on USB device, open the car settings-about this machine-Android upgrade.
If it won't work you could try to reformat USB device before or use other USB device for update.

You should also ask your seller as i know there is the great -> /dev/block/mmcblk0p22 partition on device where default CAN config is placed in canconf/canconfig.xml. How difficult it is to apply other CAN settings i dont know. In meantime you could try this procedure which is for 8 core Spreadtrum versions -> https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/how-to-enter-in-recovery-mode.3280247/post-84114389 Maybe you could enter recovery mode but i can't tell if it works or recovery has adb or shell support.

I cannot find persist.sys.xl.launcher=com.android.launcher8 in my build.prop, i only have "
ro.launcher.multimode=true

This with launcher, do you know how i can change the default launcher (everytime i try to do on the head unit it just close and come back to the stock one) ? Also how to enable split screen ?
Hi was looking for some guidance on how to fix my XL6107s audio issue. I’ve had the unit for a few months and audio has worked great. The other day the audio went completely out. No radio, keyboard clicks, Bluetooth, nothin. A few drives later, the audio came back, then back off for the next drive. I checked all my fuses and even put my old radio back in to ensure the speakers worked. I have tried a factory reset and that didn’t fix the issue either. Has anyone had this issue or know how to fix?

update, i updated my device. The first time the unit booted up after the update, the audio worked flawlessly, however, the next time I started the car, the device was back to no audio. I ran the update again and the same thing happened. Audio worked for the first boot, then nothing again the second time. Any idea what this might be? Thanks

siediti e aspetta. L'aggiornamento richiederà 15 minuti non spegnere nel mezzo, attendere per completare l'aggiornamento e quindi si riavvierà automaticamente.
Aggiornamento manuale: rinomina update_auto.zip e update_auto.txt in update.zip e update.txt sul dispositivo USB, apri le impostazioni dell'auto-su questa macchina-Aggiornamento Android.
Se non funziona, puoi provare a riformattare il dispositivo USB prima o utilizzare un altro dispositivo USB per l'aggiornamento.

Se desideri esplorare come potrebbe funzionare, fai attenzione e assicurati di poterti recuperare da un comportamento imprevisto del dispositivo -
magari con uno script che ripristina lo stato dopo 3 tentativi di avvio o qualcosa del genere. Non ho avuto tempo di non provare se adb su USB è ora disponibile.

Esiste una guida per disabilitare i lanciatori Bcon ADB?

yes, you need to install a launcher then you need adb over wifi, (adb connect "ip adress:9876") and use this command : adb shell setprop persist.sys.xl.launcher "package name of the launcher you want"
and voila the default launcher will be that one
Do you have echo on the other end when using carplay ?

Oh all that is really annoying. It was for me the same behavior until i got the update. I had opened disputes and just annoying them. My seller has read my message but i have no answer till now. Let's wait a few hours. I just can hope he send me an answer. He fooled me with some of device specs in his advertisements, he should know already that i knows. I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to access recovery mode hoping that from there there is a factory reset / wipe data or something similar but so far nothing.
This model has no physical buttons but only the RST button.

hoi dandell attach a usb port to the 6 pin connector only then plug the mouse into the usb then you will be able to access you apps etc on your unit hope this helps

factory reset may help connect a mouse to the unit then access you apps etc maybe you can factory reset the unit shoul work
you can only attach a usb mouse to the six pin usb not the 4 pin then you will have acess to your unit
