Having a Nexus be my primary device I have zero idea what im doing here software wise, any help is greatly appreciated
The guide in my sig may help you some. You have the newest stock ROM btw. It's hard to help if you don't have any real specific questions, though.

So, did you brick them or not? Your title suggests that you need help unbricking both HD2s but your post says that you simply want to flash to NRG...
Guess he bricked 2 HD2 and this is his 3rd .Now almost all the chef is using T-Mobile base all you need first is Hard SPL 1024 and follow the instruction.
If you bricked 2 HD2's already, might I suggest something? Learn to read! Learn to follow instructions. Don't expect anyone to grab you by the hand and lead you down the road. If you read you will learn how to NOT brick a phone.
I hope T-Mobile was good enough to charge you for the 2 bricked phones.
By the way, how damn fast do you expect the phone to be? If the Hd2 isn't fast enough for you out the box then you will not get it much faster.

I like the way you did that....you slapped him right upside his head...and smiled the entire time
Plus.....if he's bricked 2 devices already....not sure any chef would want him to use their ROM...."Try someone else's ...first !!!"
Dude! read the sticky's on flashing for first time users.. if you have questions post them in there. Don't open whole new threads like this on a non rom development topic.
Peace,
Josh
i really hate asking you all for help especially for the fact that i feel dumb asking for it but if someone could please point me in the right direction of some tutorials on how to flash my phone and put all the goodies on it i would greatly appreciate it, and it would be even better if it were pretty much a noob tutorial, btw i have tmous hd2
what "goodies" did you want?
Rom with some "goodies" installed already. (Energy Rom: I would try his sincity rom)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=591784
My step by step how to flash hspl and a custom rom.....(in this case you would be installing the Energy Rom not chuckydroid: use the same steps)

Hi, I just got a HTC HD2 TMOUS, I am from Mexico so I really don't care about T Mobile configs. I am pretty new on this, I have been reading for the past days, right now I already tried two diff android builds via SD but I am getting SoD.. so I read I should flash a new radio.
Since I am pretty new and I am not ready to flash a nand Android, can you suggest me what should I do about it?
What do I have to flash? Any links to their posts?
I already read the noob guide to flash WM Custom ROM/Radio on my phone but I am not feeling confident about what suits best for my phone.
Right now I have:
1024Leo
Manila: 2.5.20121412.2
Rom: 2.13.531.1 (90963) WWE
Radio: 2.10.50.26
Thanks I really appreciate it
anyone please ?
The only thing I can suggest is that you get a very recent Android SD build. A lot of the earlier ones had freezing and "screen of death" issues, but the later ones didn't exhibit the same problems (as much).
You really need to play around and try a few different builds, but make sure to read at least the 1st post in the thread where you get the build from, as it will tell you of all known issues and possibly link you to solutions.
Also, your radio is fine - there's no need to update it. The newer ones (particularly 2.15.50) report better battery life, but other than that you're okay with what you've got.
Thanks for the info... I will keep trying then... do you think it's worth to change to a nand build? I am not sure if they are stable right now... Thanks again

I find NAND builds better than SD in every way possible. It's more stable and the battery life is a LOT better!
But I am not really sure what do I have to do, I have been reading and what I understand now is that I have to install HSPL3 and then install an android nand build? I am not really sure
Hi, i have a branded phone. It's brand is SFR which is from France. I'm in VietNam and i use this phone normally with other carriers here.
So HTC just released the 2.3.3 update. But from what i know, my phone does not receive the update directly from HTC but from SFR instead. If i want the update now. I have to unbrand it.
If i want to unbrand it, what should i do ? Root it then S-off and Eng-off , and install an unbranded ROM? where can i find a stock unbranded rom of HTC?
Also what's with the radio stuff, i seriously dont know anything about that, i'm afraid if i install new rom my phone may not work because it's different radio ?
Can someone please explain, i'm very new and very confused. Thanks!
Here's my phone information:
Android version:
2.2
Baseband version:
12.28b.60.140eU_26.03.02.26_M
Kernel version:
2.6.32.21 -gf3f553d

If you going to go to the effort of rooting etc. you may as well install a customised ROM (LeeDroid's if you want Sense, Cyanogen if you don't for example).
Radio is the software that controls network, bluetooth, GPS and Wifi. Read the radio threads in the development forum for more details.
Flashing a radio is the most dangerous thing you can do so do it last and read, read, read and understand before you do. Don't worry, you can install a ROM over the radio you have now.
All your questions about what to do and how are answered in the development forums.
[EDIT] Please ensure that it is clear from your thread subject what the question or issue is.
1. It will likely get you a quicker response.
2. It's just bad etiquette not to do so.
Hi. Thanks for the reply. i've read all the instruction in the android developement forum. I'm just confused about this radio stuff.
So basically my phone's radio is safe to install any ROM now? Is there any other way to unbrand my phone without installing a whole new ROM? or is there any way to grab the ROM from HTC and install it right now? Thanks very much !
If its pure HTC Sense your after, you can have the latest HTC Gingerbread with root.
You can find it HERE
Otherwise Android Revolution, CoreDroid, LeeDrOiD, et al are all good choices.

The radio is probably the most confusing not helped by the fact that what works for one won't for another. It's a try and see thing.

As a rule yes. But different ROM's have different recommendations as to what radio should be used with them (not that we take notice!), the worst case is that you may get worse battery life or worse signal. Won't brick your phone by having a mis-match.
No, no other way as the branding is part of the ROM (and even then some branding might be left and you will have to change the splash screen / boot animation as well).
No, at the moment it is not available from HTC directly.
IMO it is worth the effort to root, S-off your phone.
Once done you have access to all varyities of the different roms.
They differ very much from each other concerning speed, smoothness ...
Try it out and you will be satisfied.
Here at xdadevelopers you'll find everything you need.
i used this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=961406
Keep in mind that its an inspire but really just t-mobile's name for a desire.
After you get that done you can download any rom and install it through clockworkmod.
With that one click you don't have to worry about radios and such unless the rom says you have to.
Hi, thank you all for the quick replies, i'm gonna try those stuff out !!!
