Hey guys,
I'm new to all this custimization and flashing phones. I'm thinking of flashing my T-Mobile HTC HD2 but i wanted to know if after i flash my phone with a custom rom, can i go back to the stock rom my phone was shipped with?

Just look for your stock ROM in the stock ROM thread.

I don't have any backups, something happened to them... I lost them all... The only back up is the most recent I created on my Fresh 1.1. But you said I can flash using FLASH RUU or FLASH FRESH? How do I do that?
I see. Just re flash fresh like u originally did the first time. The ruu will send u back to stock amd unroot you

Ah ok. Great idea! Thanks!
hi guys.. asking on my fren's behalf.. he has a problem with his phone.. its keeps shutting down, hangs and does not go to sleep mode.. any idea what could be wrong with his phone?
Is he using a hero, and is it using the stock ROM? If so, this is a warranty issue for htc, but flashing an official RUU may help. Remember it will wipe all his data.
If a custom ROM, is he on the latest version, and which rom is the problem?

hello ..
i have galaxy s4 Lte (Jfltexx) running on Android 6.0 By CrDroid ..
i'm asking if i can flash another ROM ?
i mean i'm already running on Custom ROM and i want to change it to another custom ROM ..
so i have just to "clean install" (wipe system/cache - flash ROM.zip - flash Gapps...) or there's another method to do it ?
There's no other method, unless you want to risk having problems.

ROMs are all built differently and some have various tweaks under the hood.
Knowing that, do you really think it's a good idea to flash a ROM on top of a completely different ROM?
So, I may face problems and I may face not?
And what if flashed the original frimeware, and then flash the ROM I want to flash? Is that safer?
And thanks.

Any more info? Like phone model, Android version?
And stock or custom ROM you have? Do you have custom recovery or no?

Too late bro, I've discovered that if you change the kernel of the rom (with one which is working with the new bootloader) you'll be able to boot it.
At least you made it. Good luck with your new ROM!
