thanks for your answer, but the album 3.2.19xx from HTC DE stock Rom has same problem.
The buttons are there and functioning, but invisible.

Hi Mod,
I follow this procedure....
I made a .dll in wich i have been saved all my personal icons....
The tree had icon and icon group resources...
Next i've been written a txt file like this: "28#\windows\bobo.dll,-40" and saved it to icon.lnk. (-40 is the reference into dll icon group).
But i've a problem.... don't work... I'm not be able to see my icon....
I've tried to link at the original officeres.dll and a reference in this .dll but don't work too.
Where i'm wrong?

download from windows directory ..the name is iconress.dll use resource hacker to replace the icon..thats it

Sorry no solution but sharing the pain ;-). I am currently fighting the same issue with
OEM Base: 2.13
OS Build: 21121
Manila: 2.5.2012
But with HTC_Messaging 1.8 (2016) in a German environment.
Maybe the additional info helps to find the culprit?

hello to all i have cooked a french rom with 1.8 htc mesage client from OBOE rom...i have these packages from OBOE rom :

after flash i have a problem when i want to copy and paste my message i have some stange charecters please see the pictures:
and when i click menu there is one one ligne is missing please see the screenshot:
and i checked with othere roms in that ligne they have "Secured Box"
like i have used the 1.8 message client it had inbox secure so are i mise something dependies for 1.8 message client??

Where did you found the file MessagingService.dll because it is deifferent from the Huashan/Oboe file?

thanks bro when i swap directly these packages it shows the secured box but after i traducted to my language it does not shown the secured box this time i dont have the blank box........

will i delete some reg entries for diable this.......

Edit the XDA_UC.mscr file and look for Cook.tsk. Rename Cook.tsk to what theme you want. Or just delete the section where it checks for Cook.tsk in the XDA_UC.mscr file.
