anybody know when HTC will release official wm6.1 update? and where to get it?
I checked on HTC eclub, it is not there.

In Denmark they should release it first in august

Unfortunately is in this thread only a older ROM version. I want the new ROM from August with WM6.1 and in English. Can anyone upload this Version please?

HTC have NOT released a new ROM yet! The Homepage was updated and they have added the WM6.0 Rom to the Page. There is NO WM6.1 for the HTC Niki out yet!

everytime i'm starting the download it's interrupting after 4 or 5 minutes, if possible please share it thru another site, i even tried to download it from HTC but the file i downloaded to be corrupted

However, I have bought my Viva from Syria, and it came with the 1.26.488.2 WWE ROM, dated 19/9/08.
The device is Arabic-enabled, with a built-in Arabic keyboard, but the UI is English.
I don't understand the difference between this ROM and the one you're posting about!
Do you think I'd benefit from upgrading my ROM? Because I don't want to go through all the hustle for nothing.

nice, i have the same ROM 1.26.488.2 WWE, but its not arabic enabled. if i recieve any text message in arabic comes out with square boxes. there is always a requirement.
i had got my HTC in UAE, any clues where can i download the same rom to do a backup. i want to upgrade my rom to WM6.5 and test it. but would love to have to office ROM in backup incase there is any issue.

I upgraded my HD from a dutch rom to this rom last week. It is a WWE rom and runs just fine. It is posted already on the forum.

Uh, the thread title "New HTC Touch HD ROM available" a few lines down?

We've got the same situation like when hotfix has been released. 5 similar threads a day. Here and on rom development sub-forum.

ROM or WM ?
I want to change the language on a HTC Touch HD from DE to ENG.
Is it enough to flash the ROM with a WWE? and then the windows will start in ENG?
Or after flashing the ROM I need to install the O.S. as well ?
