Shift Button Drivers - Shift General

Maybe I am just lost, but I tried finding the button drivers here and can't find them. I am talking about the two top right hand buttons. I just finished installing Win7 following your STEP by STEP instructions .. had a few problems at first but now everything is working except I can't use those two buttons ... when I click on them they do nothing.
I am looking on another post at the 'windows 7 install' step by step .. trying to figure out if I forgot something .. PRAYING I don't have to start all over.
TIA .. Diane

[Q] Syncing 8525 to desktop running Win7 x64

I've tried using WMDC however each time I connect the device, I get an unknown device warning and it won't recognize the device.
I've read about similar issues with Vista and WMDC however, upon trying what was discussed in those threads, I am still not having luck. Is there an unknown driver that I don't know about or is there something else going on. I can't get any of the data off my device until I can sync it...
Any help would be appreciated
Make sure you have Windows Update allowed to search for drivers.
You do this by :
1. Click Start, then right click upon Computer and select properties.
2. You should now have the system control panel options. On the left pane, select Advanced system settings.
3. On the new window click the hardware tab.
4. Now click Device Installation Settings.
5. On the new window make sure the Yes, do this automatically (recommended) box is bulleted.
You may need to turn off the advanced network functionality for Windows 7 x64. (I recommend for x64, Windows 7 32bit works fine from my experience)
To do so on your Hermes :
1. Tap start and select settings.
2. Along the bottom there is Personal, System and Connections. Select Connections.
3. In the connections tab, tap USB to PC.
4. Now remove the tick from the box and tap ok.
I've done everything on the list short of turning off advanced functionality in win7...as I'm not sure what setting you are referring to.
It can see there is a device there, but it doesn't know what it is and keeps looking for a driver that it doesn't have.
Then, turn off the advanced functionality. It should find it, Windows 7 x64 has trouble installing the RNDIS driver for some reason.
1. Tap start and select settings.
2. Along the bottom there is Personal, System and Connections. Select Connections.
3. In the connections tab, tap USB to PC.
4. Now remove the tick from the box and tap ok.
Click to collapse
(The box should say Enable advanced network functionality, clear that box.)
NOTE : All on the phone itself.
If you need, I will post pictures showing the whole process.
tried everything described here. this is Windows 7 Ultimate X64. It did automatically instal WMDC, but cannot for the life of it install drivers for the device.
Not from Windows Update, not from anywhere. Am I missing something?

Hi,
i used this guide and it works!:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=686584
The important part is:
first install HTC SHIFT shagctrl_1[1].2.6.122-control center
then:
15. Right Click on Synaptics Pointing Device in the tray of Win7 -> Pointing Device Properties -> Device Settings ->
Synaptics Touchpad V 6.5 -> Settings -> Buttons -> Scroll Left Button Action -> Run a program of your choosing -> C:\Program Files\HTC\ControlCenterLauncher.exe -> Apply.
Now you can enable/disable WiFi/Bluetooth/Modem by clicking on the hardware button and select it.

BlueScreen login Windows 7
Welcome
The problem is that after installing Windows 7 installs the drivers and I see that the resolution is 600x480 after reboot shift when logging into the system bluescreen pops up and I see that the resolution is changed .... Several times to reinstall the system does not help. All the time this problem started after 2 Shift is higher resolution and how to log on bluescreen pops up. What should I do?
Right click on the desktop and select personalization.
Scroll down and select a 'high contrast', 'basic' theme. Click ok.
This applies a non -aero theme.
After this, you should not see the bluescreen anymore, so you can install all the display driver updates. After applying such updates, you can then choose an aero theme and it wont crash you Shift any more.

PC doesn't see Transformer

Prior to upgrading to ARHD 3.2.1, I could plug my Transformer into my PC and see it each time. However, after I flashed ARHD, it no longer shows up in My Computer. It does show up in Device Manager as Android ADB Interface. Any ideas out there? I have installed SDK Manager and installed ASUS Synch still not showing up.
Try going into settings -> storage -> the 3 dots in upper-right corner -> usb computer connection -> check media device(MTP).
If its checked already, check Camera(PTP), then recheck MTP.
If that doesnt help, try reinstalling the drivers.

[SOLVED] How to install Asus drivers on Windows 10?

I've downloaded the `ASUS_Android_USB_drivers_for_Windows` found here and tried to install it from the `android_winusb.inf` file but despite the success window I still can't find the device through fastboot when it's in CSC Mode but on the other side when the phone is on ADB does find it and lists it.
How can I flash anything given this weird issue?
disable Windows driver signature enforcement (reboot options F7)
connect phone in fastboot mode, pick yellow triangle exclamation mark in windows device manager -> open properties -> Update Driver -> Browse my computer for driver software -> Let me pick from the list of device drivers on my computer -> Show all devices -> Have Disk -> android_winusb.inf -> Android Bootloader Interface
