I buy used HTC Magic 32A from TIM operator, at now it installed 2.1 ROM, it is buggy and freezes.
How me downgrade my firmware to official firmware 1.5 or 1.6?
Information:
SAPPHIRE PVT 32A ENG S-OFF H
HBOOT - 1.76.2007 (SAPP10000)
CPLD-12
RADIO-6.35.10.18
I would be grateful for any help.

You should be able to do the unroot procedure. Im sure they have it somewhere on here but haven't looked for it. You can go to theunlockr .com>how to's>android>htc magic for info too

I'm not even sure 's-on' and 's-off' means...
If there's any radio, or SPL i need to update.. please let me know.

You have the Engineering SPL already flashed is all.

Above roms works for me, but
CyanogenMod v4.0.4
doesn't work for me.
Does it have to do with SPL version? or phone itself?

You need to use ROMs for a 32A board, the second ROM your trying to install is for the G1.

I just need clarification if you will.
I wish to downgrade my radio from 2.22.23.02 back to 2.22.19.26I. Is it just the same process as flashing the radio to upgrade? also is there only one version on of the earlier radio? Here's my Bootloader :

I tried to downgrade my radio from 26.08.04.07_M3 to 26.06.04.14_M but it would'nt let me do it
Everything looks good when I flash it, but after reboot it still says I have the 26.08.04.07_M3 radio?
Any ideas why this happens? Or is'nt it possible to downgrade radios?

Just at the bottom of the page is big DOWNLOAD for that rom, you just need a recovery that i have you can flash it with this

And you will have rooted Rogers 2.1 with sense UI
Today I found that my Magics CPLD value is 10 (CPLD-10), and I can not flash other versions of Sense UI with 6.35.*.* of radio. Does anyone know how to change the value from 10 to 12.

Get you self custom recovery using the radio-switcher-tool in my signature. (If you not already have it!). Just push "flash new" when using the tool.
Then flash this rom:

It's a modified stock 2.1 with sense.
You cannot change the CPLD.
In others words, you are attacking the wrong problem!
CPLD-10 is the MyTouch 3G / Magic 32B. Flashing the new radio and SPL will most likely brick your phone.
CPLD is sort of a hardware ID, you can't change it.

If so, how come arxlex has different fastboot info?

From what I've gathered on this forum, CPLD-10 is 32B, CPLD-12 is 32A and CPLD-13 is MyTouch 1.2/Fender. The only other time I saw CPLD-10 and PVT-32A on the same screen was when someone ran a 32A RUU on a 32B with a goldcard in it.

Thanks, but I already have a recovery 1.6.2. And I already maked flash device RCMagic ROM, but after flashing the firmware does not want work sensor, all sensor area decreased by 1/3 of screen.

Have you ever used a goldcard before?
Maybe thats why everything is not working correct.
Using what Keinengel sayed, you might have wrong spl/radio combo which again is effecting your system...
If you have used goldcard before, then maybe you should revert back to 32B combo.
Using spl 1.33.2005 and 2.22 radio. Then flashing 32B rom like the CM 6.

i have to update my HTC Magic firmware 1.5 to newest version. I am new to all this stuff.
In thought, that after flashing a new Rom, that also the firmware would change. I flashed a Hero Rom and its functioning very well. I would like to keep this Rom if its possible.
But the Firmware version did not changed. I have been searching al around and found alot of articles leading me to your site. Somehow i couldnt find the correct howto to update only my firmware to the newest one. If someone of you Experts could lead me to the correct howto, to update only my firmware with the correct files would be very nice of you.
