Original Sprint Style Slider Manila 2.5 2013 6.5 build - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Themes and Apps

For those who like the simplicity of the original Sprint style slider for the Touch Pro 2. Zip or cab. Tell me how it works. I am running 6.5 with manila 2.5 2013. A Mighty Rom build-but it should work with similar manila.
I am adding the Sprint TV Icons that were asked for in another cab. And I made a SPrint Nav Icon Tab

Thank you, using the original Sprint rom, and this worked just fine.

One thing, the Sprint TV icon didn't change? Thanks
also, Twitter and Navigation didn't change either.

I totally agree...i surprisingly like the sprint neon colors...but would much rather have the gsm clock and the background...i hope that we can figure out how to do this...
I too would love the gsm clock. I don't mind the sprint rom as it has sprint nav, and sprint tv, but the ugly clock it came with is killing me. Anyone know how to swap it out?
thats funny 'cause i have the gsm version and just changed to the sprint theme and love it. anyways, did any of you try installing clocks from here?
I have the Sprint Diamond and would love to have the original wite flipping clock and keep the rest of the Sprint icons (across the bottom and the big neon ones that show when scrolling through TF3D tabs)

Thank you everyone, it looks great!! Love the flip clock, and I like the sprint theme, just not the clock that it came with.

I installed the entire GSM TF3D theme and love it. I cant find the gridtile wallpaper in VGA anywhere though. I found L_BG.PNG and P_BG.PNG in my /windows but they show up white instead of black like they are in TF3D. Anyone seen these wallpapers in VGA?

[THE][14-10-09][v2.0] Color TF3D

I must say I'm a fan of TF3D. But personally, the mono-color scheme is not much fun to look at. So, I searched the web for some free icons and made this. I thought I'd share it with the xda community. My first contribution.
(Don't bother with the poll, I've made my decision already.)
Instructions:
1. Install cab (recommended that previous versions of my theme be uninstalled first)
2. Disable and re-enable TF3D to see the changes. To see changes in the dialer, you'll need to soft-reset.
3. Sprint users, please install my "Color TF3D-Sprint Patch.cab" on top of whichever one of my theme's version you chose. This will add the 2 icons for Sprint TV and Nav. Please see screenshot here.
If don't like it, just uninstall. Soft-reset. Back to normal.
Verizon users, have a look here.
Sprint users, have a look here.
Most devices have black as the default font color for the clock on the Home tab. If yours does not, check here.
FAQ - please read before asking any questions I'll be ignoring all queries covered in the FAQ.
Tip: for improved performance, use CFC Compression. Info here.
Release history
I'd gladly take suggestions and requests. Let me know if you have icons you would like me to use or if you don't like a particular change I made. Together, we can make the perfect theme!
Color TF3D 1.5.cab - Normal
Color TF3D 1.5-no top.cab - Transparent top curtain
Color TF3D 1.5-no bottom.cab - Transparent bottom curtain
Color TF3D 1.5-no top and bottom.cab - Transparent top and bottom curtains (This is the one used in the screenshots)
Color TF3D-Sprint Patch.cab - install this on top of one of the above cabs for icons for Sprint TV and Nav
For those of you who have switched to the official WinMo 6.5 ROM released by HTC or if you have Manila v2.1 with the weather clock, please see here for version 2.0.
Users of Manila 2.0 or 2.1 without the weather clock should stick with version 1.5 of my theme.
AT&T Tilt 2 users should also stick with version 1.5 of my theme. I've not skinned the AT&T tab icon. If you want me to skin it, one of you will have to send me the corresponding manila files...
Further development on this has halted. But I'll still continue to try to support it. Here for details.
Like my work? Please donate! Any amount appreciated! Thanks for supporting!

Yes, I used cfc-gui. The section under "manila\icon off" is "manila\icon preview". That's what you're looking for. If you don't see it, you probably didn't extract your full set of manila files.
Very nice!
Great job, but i've got the Vario5 and tmobile made their own icons and I'm not sure if this works on my version, did you test it?

The 64x64 icons in the "manila/icon off" section are the ones to amend for the tab selection bar.

Only tested on my unlocked UK Touch Pro2. So, don't know if it'll work for you. Suggest you to backup your manila files and test it. This way, you can always revert back if anything goes wrong.
Thx a lot! Great work!

Sure, cab added. Please see 1st post.
I'd really like to try this out as it looks great but I'm a bit concerned because I would have no idea which Manila files to back up incase I wanted to change back. Will the cab now allow me to uninstall from the remove programs option and do I still need to turn of tf3d before installing it?
Sorry for all the questions
The tab isnt transparent, and the bottom is white below the tabs. help?

Going to be honest. I've not actually tried to uninstall the cab. But since the manila files are in ROM, a soft reset should restore them if you do uninstall the cab.
To answer your question on which manila files to backup, you can find the list in the xml file if you "unzip" the cab. Alternatively and probably easier would be to be just back up all of them.

I probably wasn't being clear in the 1st post, so I apologize for any misunderstandings. The slider, clock, taskbar, and 1% battery driver are not included in my cab. You can get them if they suit your preference. The links to those threads are in the 1st post. I take no credit for them. 1st post is now amended to be more clear in this subject.
Btw, yes, they are indeed awesome...

Sorry, going to contradict myself here. I just tried to uninstall the cab. It works perfectly. No need to worry about screwing anything up if you install it and don't like it.
Looks great, thanks very much.
It seems that when the icon marked below is pressed, the original icon (i.e. not colored) shows up

I've actually encountered the problem you described when I tried to install my cab onto my Diamond (which runs a ported version of TF3D2). The strange thing was, the problem mysteriously went away after a few minutes. All I can say is, try to disable and then enable TF3D. Or soft reset. If that doesn't work, try to install the cab again. Maybe the script accidently skipped a fileā€¦
I'm quite certain the cab works. Tested on my own TP2 purchased from UK and my friend's TP2 purchased from HK.
Wow !
Everything works, since I am a total noob, that's a bit fo a surpise to me !
Thanks everyone !

TF3D 2.1 with weather (or not?) on home tab (T-Mobile version) - TEST VERSION

Hi all - I'll be the proud owner of a T-Mobile TP2 in a few days. I didn't notice any cabbed up version of TF3D2.1 1919, so I took a stab at my own cab. Since I don't yet have my new phone, I can't test.
Anyone who wants to test it for me ... here it is.
Registry settings are for WM6.1. For 6.5, do this in your registry
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Manila]
"IsWM6.5"=dword:1
Oh, and if there's already a working cab out there, someone provide a link, and I'll ask a mod to close this thread.
I'm gonna test it later tonight, if it work you are my god
nice looking, but does not work on my stock rom ...
Can you be more specific about what didn't work? Did the install itself fail? Does TF3D fail to start? It starts, but you don't see any difference?
Because I can't test (yet), whatever specific feedback you can provide will help.
Thanks,
Lou
install works great, TF3D start and work, nice violet and white theme, custom icons, tabs and more but no weather on home tab

It's possible this build doesn't do what I think it does -- just started catching up on Rhodium stuff, and maybe I misunderstood something or wrongly connected some dots. Notice any other new features?

HI. Saw this version of Manila where they claim the animated weather works on this 2.1 manila version with 6.5 rom.
I have not tried it yet. Here is the link

6.5 Same Background All TABS

Hi, I had a Touch HD and on here there was a nice little .cab that made all the tabs share the same Home Tab's background, when I moved to the Touch Pro2, it messed everything up and I had to find one someone made on here especially for the Touch Pro2, now it's the same on Touch Pro2 6.5 (the official ROM), does anyone have an installer to fix this (or even tell me what to edit in the registry, thanks!)
You should try this tool. Remember to switch to the WinMo 6.5 profile.
Perfect, thank you very much!
is there another way then this?

Trust me. You want to use this tool. It's easy to use if you just play around with it and read the instructions.
3 reasons for you to do so...
1. Your wallpaper will come out nicer (more high-def, sharper and more vivid colors)
2. Your landscape wallpaper won't be all messed up. And you can use another image altogether if you want.
3. You'll be able to see the weather animations on your Home tab with your wallpaper.
i guess ill give it another try

Do Touch HD Mods work on the Imagio?

I am receiving my Imagio tomorrow morning finaly and plan to mod it right away and I am wondering if the mods/ tweaks for the Touch HD will work? Especially this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=544422 and if there is a version with out the theme applied? thanks for anyone help. I will be in the game tomorrow to help anyone else out as well.
I hope so, because that theme looks really good. I'll give it a try.
Tried it on mine . Took 10 minutes to load ( 11 MB ) and after i reset nothing happened , still had the same theme I had before (stock). Took remove programs 10 minutes to delete it. A big waste of time.
Well, the only thing that changes is there's a Dusk theme under the Today settings that changes the lockscreen and adds a nice gradient to the taskbar and softkeys, but TouchFlo is completely unchanged.
alright well thanks for testing. I wasn't sure an didn't have the phone yet at the moment. I have been installing cabs that I have through out the day and will report later on what cabs work for me and what ones do not.

I think thats because TouchFLO has to be cooked into the rom. You can't just install a cab of it.
That link I believe is just a theme of touchFLO 2.5, and in order for it to work it requries that you have the software already cooked into the rom.
That's what I was thinking, but I couldn't check as, well, I can't exactly flash a Manila 2.5 ROM to my Imagio yet, haha.
