Weird Battery Indicator problem - XPERIA X10 General

Hi guys, I have a weird problem on my phone, it only goes up to 97% at the most even if its charged overnight. Is my battery messed up or is it my phone?
Thanks in Advance

Apparently the phone stops charging when it reaches 100% and starts again when it goes below 90%. It is meant to stop it from over heating I think so I guess it's normal.

Battery indicator questions

I just put wp7 mango 7740 on last night. I charged my phone overnight, when I woke up it was only at 60%, I rebooted the phone and then it said 100%. I assume its showing the correct percentage now, but if I were to start charging the phone, the percentage would be incorrect unless I reboot it after charging?
should I use this guide to fix the battery status?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=933751
if I dont fix it, how am I suppose to know when to charge the phone and adjust my usage so I get through the day?
Was the led indicator green when you wake up,and battery shows only 60%?

yes. then I rebooted the phone and it showed 100%. I'm getting the percentage from the battery saver in the settings menu.
That happens to me,only i got like 80,85%.I unplug phone and plug it in again on charger, and it gets 100%.Try that, maybe it helps I got 1 day max battery life...

does it go to 100% instantly? or do you have to wait like 30 minutes or something?
I let mine run down to 93%, and plugged it in for about 30 minutes, and its at 100% now and green light is on. maybe I don't have any issue with the battery then, maybe the reboot fixed it? I thought I read that all the hd2 with mango read the battery percentage incorrectly though?
It doesnt go to 100% instantly,it takes some time.Yes Mango have some issues with battery, but i dont know exactly which. As i understand,it don't let battery to fully charge, but not sure...Maybe someone will be able to explain that
One I wish for battery fix. Its the biggest wp7 problem

Battery Indicator fluctuates

I've noticed some strange behavior from the battery indicator on my Omnia7 recently. Quite often after I reboot thew phone, the battery indicator will show a significant difference once it restarts (usually shows less power). Yesterday I left my phone charging overnight and it showed zero battery on the indicator in the morning. I rebooted and it then showed full.
I've tried a battery draining app to fully discharge it, but it hasn't fixed the problem. Is there a fix? Do I need to buy a new battery?
This also happened to me. When I rebooted the phone it showed 50% less charge on the battery. I then pulled the battery for a minute or two and then turned on the phone and that fixed the problem.

Once happened to me too, just a weird anomaly! Pulled the battery, like giobooo said.

Unstable battery

i phone is acting weird lately. i'm running tried , AOKP, Voltage revolution, and now running rootbox rom they all seem to have this problem of slow charging time on my phone. The worse part is the phone can never seem to charge to 100% even i leave it charging overnight. And after it reaches to 100% the battery drains quickly by itself. Every time when i reboot the phone 2 % of battery disappears. Is this happening to everyone? or just me?

Try doing a full charge cycle (discharge completely to 0%, then recharge, without stopping, to 100%). This recalibrates the battery.

L7 II Battery drain

Hello.
I want to know if there's someone else having this issue.
I charge my phone (p712) to 100%, and when I restart it/shut it down and start it without being pluged to charger wire it starts at 94% and it goes to 89% in less than a minute, after that it get slowing down a little but still goes down quickly till 50% and then it takes longer to decrease the %.
I already calibrated the battery.
¿Maybe it's a rom problem? ¿or it's not optimized for battery visualization?
Thanks for comments.

Battery percentage display error.

This is an issue I've noticed in not just one, but many ROMs that I've tried on my G5 Plus.
My phone is almost three years old, and with time, battery backup would gradually decrease, which is normal. But in my case, I've noticed that my phone isn’t displaying my battery’s true percentage at times.
For example: I usually don’t discharge my phone completely down to 0%, but what happens is that when I do it and plug in the charger while the phone is dead, the battery indicator doesn’t show 0%. It has showed 15-20% and even percentages like 52% and 62%. I don’t know what's wrong with my device. I used to think its some kind of ‘reserve charge’ and turns out, its not. After some reading, I came to know that my battery needs calibration. I tried doing it today, and drained my battery down to 0%. And long behold, my battery indicator started charging from 26%, instead of 0%.
Can anyone help me with this? Would be great help. Thanks!
