I disabled samsung dialer on my omnia pro today, because it eats a lot of ram for nothing. But now the dialer looks kinda ugly, so I would like to know if I can apply a theme on it or something.

Does anyone know of an apk that has been pulled out of Sense UI with the Smart dialer that works in the Streak?
I have tried Dialer One and aTakaphone and although their functionality is similar, they don't sit right on the screen.
If the other dialers can be tweaked then they are fine. In Launcher Pro, can the size of the dialer keyboards be changed, as they come up tiny, making it hard to read the letters on the keys.
Have you tried NubDial? I have tried Dialer One and like you said, the apps itself only uses a fraction of the screen.
However like Dialer One, NubDial also doesn't support landscape mode.

I think it was intentional. There doesn't seem to be any graphical glitches and the keyboard's transparent!

Some visual artifacts occur sometimes with the keyboard background. I had something similar with Better Keyboard having a white background that was looking awfull with the black keys. I've solved it by switching to other input method and back to Better Keyboard (also a restart but this I don't think it helped to much).
What you can do, is to switch to other keyboard (install a free one from the market if you don't have any), than switch back to android keyboard. There are big chances that your problem will be solved this way.
P.S. This is only if your newly installed theme does NOT have a transparent background for the keyboard. If it's made like this by purpose by the theme creator, your only option is to change the theme..or ask for a non transparent version of it.

Hello there. I am kinda new on Lg G2 (D802). And wanted to know if there is a mod for ridding of white ui. I mean is there a way to change white dialer and white settings ui to black or dark one? I have searched already but couldn't find anything except a dialer app (ezdialer). But dont want to use another dialer app. Hope you guys understood me . Thanks a lot!

I think your options are limited to AOSP roms. That being said there are lots of roms to choose from with a built in black dialer. Only stock based roms have white AFAIK.
I stick with stock because I really like the white.

I wish to have a black dialer and a black contact app too.
LG's Flex phone has it (for the dialer i'm sure, for the contact app, not sure).
It also have black settings.
So a good solution is to flash a flex rom (CloudyFlex 1.4, AEONFLEX v3.0.2, etc..), but some people reported bad audios functions (not a high-fidelity sound as the g2, and crappy call quality).
So perhaps the solution is to adapt the Flex apps to the G2.
But how ?...

Thanks for replies guys. Yes I installed it. But this time I had problems with dpi. I editted dpi it works good but, this time menu icons stay big. They didnt change... I know I want too much but if we have a chance to mix those two, it would be awesome!

i am hoping you can help me i been trying to see how to get my lockscreen to have the same features as this s5 lockscreen. see atached
i have installed xposed framework to get the camera, but for the life of me i can not get it have similar features.
I like the idea of the camera to swipe up from an app style like my iphone 5. instead of having to swipe from the left.
Also i have another issue is that my locks screen instally brings up the the screen to unlock rather than look like this s5 lockscreen.
mine is the darth vader lockscreen btw.
you ideas would be really good. to solve this.

I have installed the polish version of lollipop (2. Version) but i seem to be missing some of the cool new lollipop features.
Facial recognition on lock screen
Nokia inspired standby screen where the clock shows When screen i black
Double tab to open the phone form standby.
I think this is nice features, but why are they missing. If im correct the hardware should be compatible
Samsung mods pure android with Touchwiz removing or hiding default features.
