I just bought a htc touch 3g half year.Just few week happen my sd detect disappear already.when i put in my laptop use card reader it detect.i try to format to fat32 system using sd card formatter software , hard reset,flash rom .but still cannot solve my problem
Can anyone tell me what can i do know.
now all my software canot use already so sad

Have you tried to use a different sd card to see if that works ok
same problem
other sd card detedect is 2 sec after will no function already
Have you thought about maybe is system problem?Why do not you try another ROM?
i try so many rom but also same problem happen
It may be a hardware problem,You can try to go mobile phone repair center to testing
Has anyone solved that problem. After i installed WM6.1 on my clone, I cant use SD-Storage-Cards anymore. Please help.

u can try doing a hard reset but before doing it back up ur phone data
i was using a 4GB now a 2GB(moved the 4GB to my tattoo) and still i don't see this problem
if u dont know how to hard reset click on the jade Q & A on my sign i have explained on the 2nd page

hi, i have problem with switiching on my wizard. my device just freezed and every time i try to soft reste it starts but dosnt responso/dosnt work. the only way to make it work again is to remove miniSD(2gb) and reste it againn. my wizard dosnt see what is on the card and even if it does i still cannot open any files. why is that ?? what can i do ??
in addition i can say that it has been ok so far it started to happen just like that.

Sounds like your card needs re-formatting.
Re-format is as FAT.
Unfortunately you'll loose data that you had on it. Back it up from a PC if you need to first..

yeah i also wonder how to format mini sd without card reader. Is there any program (ppc) for backup and formating card?
Download trial versions of storage tools or sktools (google them) and you will be able to format the card on your device.
my imate jamin sometimes fails to recognize my 2gb kingston microsd card... i dont know whats wrong... after few resets then it will be ok.. thanks in advance..

128 Mb seems very small ... whenever i had to reset my phone ... it fails to recognize it.. i have to pull out my memory thrice or so just to fix the problem.. so annoying...
well I seem to have the same problem a while ago and i believed mines was a hardware issue and maybe your is too. I also had a program called Card Export or something like that around the same time my phone acted up. Try removing that program if you have it
Check your card for errors with Storage Tools ....Doesnt sound like hardware issue, more likely one of the programs causing this.
no apps is installed on my phone and this mmc is newly formatted... doest seem to recognize it either.. i have to rest it few times just to fix it.. ill try diferent mmc and i'll update you guys thanks a lot for the help..

Are you able to read it from your PC? Use a card reader and read it through your PC.
If you formatted the card in NTFS then the phone will not be able to read it. You'll need to format it in FAT32 with atleast an 8KB allocation unit size (this will help a little bit with speed)

it might be a duff sd card. i had this problem last week. all of a sudden my sandisk 8gig sd card wouldnt work , my phone wouldnt read it and nor could my pc. i tryed formatting it on my pc. but my phone still woundnt read it. i have heard that the hd2 sometimes does this to sd cards .
i bought mine from carphone warehouse so i rang them and they said i could get a replacement so that has saved me 20 quid.
i would probaly get a new sd card.

having similar problems with my 2g sandisk card that came with the phone. except somwtimes it doesnt get recognised then out of the blue starts working. ahen its not recognised the phone knows a card is inserted. with file explorer open if i plug it in it jumps to the bottom of the file list but no sdcard shpws.
its weird as it just starts workibg again. no apparent data loss. gonna get a better card

on saturday i flashed to WM7 DFT port and everything was perfect except the need for activation code but that meant my phone was uselesss til monday when ms was open again but i needed my phone so i flashed back to WM6.5 until today when i plan to get a code and then reflash to WM7
thing is when i was using WM6.5 i noticed my 8GB card is now 199mb?
this is puzzled me and i really have no use for a 199mb card
i want my 8GB back.
please help me and anyone else with this problem!!!!

I thing i bricked my SD card also
on the first install i have installed it with the SD inside
and it bricked i think
but it worked c'ouse the wp7 made a RESTART when i attached it from the phone
and after restart didnt remmember the contacts and files and every thing i have made with him ...
i Try'd to put the SD in my Nokia N95 and it sayd its not working....
Any suggests on how to fix it ?
or its lost ? =(

i prefer software approach as i have just flashed my phone to WM7 and i'm not flashing to android just to fix the sd card

I tried to download something from WhatApp and it says " Download Failed : Cannot download because no internal shared storage is available. Please unmount it as a disk drive and try again". I never did do anything and it unexpectedly became something like that. Is there no solution to this issue ?

It might be a hardware problem specific to your phone - a bad contact or something similar. Test with 2-3 different micro-SD cards that all are (recently) tested and working fine in other phones.

I did try my wife's SD Card and it went well . And used mine on my wife's phone. But the main problem is that the Phone Storage in not available. How do i correct this hardware problem?

Does the card work (is it seen) in another phone? If yest try to format it on the pc and see if it is recognised then in the N3, if not the card may be damaged.

Yes it worked well on other phone's via alcatel. So it means that there's something wrong with my hardware right ? How do i change the firmware? Maybe something went wrong with its firmware? It has never fell before since its brand new..

My note 3 was doing fine and for past few days suddenly the sd card is not getting recognised and am not able to find which application got updated latest to cause this problem. Please suggest me the solution to this.
I did the card formatting as well factory reset the phone. Still the phone gives message as Blank SD card.
SD card reads in PC and in other phones.

Hi suddenly the SD card starts functioning and today it goes on and off means, sometimes it reads by itself and other time it gives blank sd card.
My note 3 is not rooted and Samsung guys informed that warranty ceases with rooting.
Can I have other workaround without rooting.

I have the same problem with my samsung Gio model: m290k..when i inserted SD card it does not show in my phone, however same SD card is operate in other models..when i try to download whatsapp pictures same message appear on the screen..

I am stuck in same problem when i was massing arround with adding users on my intex aqua power ... i accidently unmounted my internal storage i cant even see my sdcard ... BUt I have terminal emmulator installed on my phone and i can navigate arround my memory card and internal storage /// I took my back up of my memory card in my PC then i copied all the folders from internal storage to sd card and again took backup of it!! It worked for me ... I did get my files back But still coude't mount my sd card or internal storage!!!
