Is it bricked? - myTouch 3G, Magic General

Today i wanted to root my new htc magic 32b. I used unlockers goldcard method to root my phone. This stage i made was successfull, but when i boot to fastboot mode ther was sapphire pvt 32b eng s-off h, radio 3.22.2.17 and spl 1.33.2010. So i flashed mytouch radio 2.22.23.02, when the phone rebooted i couldnt boot in to fastboot mode or recovery. No mather what i press the phone stucks at HTC MAGIC screen. So is it bricked or is there any way to fix this?
Sorry for my english.

no, he had to switch the radio back to 2.x, a 3.x radio is for the 32A
have you tried to get into hboot mode (vol-down+power)? if that works you can flash sappimg from the goldcard again which will put the 3.22.2.17 radio back on, then you can try again

Yes i flashed that radio because 3.22 radio is for 32A.
No i can't get in hboot mode. This is the screen where the phone stucks. View attachment 353338

Phone Stuck On HTC Magic Logo

So my phone is stuck on the HTC Magic logo. I don't think it is bricked because I can still access fastboot and Hboot no problem. This all started happening after I went to an older radio and back to the newer one. Now when I turn on my phone it is just stuck on the HTC Magic logo. Why is that? Thanks
By the way here is the info on my phone
SAPPHIRE PVT 32A ENG S-OFF H
HBOOT - 1.76.2007 (SAPP50000)
CPLD - 12
RADIO - 6.35.10.18
What rom did you flash? If you flashed the cyanogen test5 make sure you flash the port file by pershoot or bcrook which will allow the rom to boot past the screen where you are stuck.
yeah I did want to flash the cyanogen t5 but when this happened all I was doing was changing my radio...anyways I've downloaded the bcrook port so what do I do from here?
it was radio rom 1.33.2010
Re-Read // Flash the old version of the radio that was working back on your device via fastboot.
Then if you backed up your phone with recovery -> Nandroid restore it to that point.
Read more into the radio versions and for what boards, and then flash the appropriate radio.
Should be all gravy from there~
_________
EDIT:
This happened to me and after a litte the phone completely stopped working and TMobile sent me a replacement phone.
Be careful when flashing radio's etc.
Does anybody ever read or use the search function?? I mean if they were to read the posts even. On the first page, there is like 3 posts with the same issue.

Flashed The Wrong Radio

Well I Have The Mytouch 3G 1.2
And I Accedently Flashed The Wrong
Radio. And Now I Can't Downgrade it Back
Does Anyone Have Any Clue On What I Can Do?
I Can't Go Into Recovery
I Can Only Do Fastboot And Hboot
When I Flash Another sappIMG.zip
It Will Freeze At Like 99% On The Radio V2 Part
I Have The Engineering SPL If That Helps
Any Help Is Really Appreciated!!!

[Q] Bricked HTC Magic?

My HTC Magic won't boot. This is my problem. It just boots into that logo if i'm trying to boot into fastboot or recovery. As you can see, the blue LED still works. What i tried to do is downgrading the radio (With ClockWorkMod) and the last thing i saw flashing was "Uploading radio image.." and then it rebooted into the state it is in now. Have anyone else experienced this/got a fix? I will love you forever
edit: if you didn't see my link, here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-grYLlaUUo

i think the last fasboot info i saw was

Check if your spl is compatible with your radio. Which did u flash first?
Sent from my HTC Magic using XDA App
thanks for the respond. i think the radio was flashed first. (i used mumilovers fastboot commander)
EDIT: when i think about it, i used the fastboot commander, it flashed the radio, but there was an error flashing the SPL, so i flashed only the SPL via ClockWorkMod, i think the issue is that i didn't have any battery left. and no, that SPL is not compatible with the radio. i think i need 1.33.x SPL
I would have to say u have a brick now. Radio/spl have to be compatible or u will brick it.

guess i'll turn it in for service then.

[Q] PROB stuck plz help

well im a noob to the mytouch3g but i own a slide....the prom im haveing is a friend game me his 3g cuz it was stuck at mytouch splash and well i cant get it past that

hboot-1.33.0013
cpld-13
radio-6.35.10.18
so can any1 help....i can get to fastboot and hboot just not past that
He hosed the radio. The 6.35.10.18 radio is for actual 32A devices. Read through this post and the light will come on. You may be able to get the radio changed back by following the instructions in this post.
well i have tryed that sapp b4 just get to Radio V2 and sits there updating for last time i try till it went dead...i can get to fastboot hboot but not recovery
well tryed again lastnite and well sat at updateing Radio_V2 at like 90 percent for 3 hours......WHAT AM I TO DO?
Can you still get into recovery? With the phone off, turn it on holding home+power.
that takes me to the splash screen tryed.. im gonna try now that i have sd drive to use the gold card
well that didnt work hung up at thr radio_v2
Well if you can borrow a friends phone to make a goldcard, then just follow the old school guide in my sig. Hopefully it wont fail writing the radio which is what I'm thinking will happen.

i made the gold crad from my slide and well same thing gets stuck at thr RADIO_V2....then i pulled the bat and now have soff and tryed flashing radio through fastboot and the same thing get 90percent dont and hangs there
What radio did you try flashing? Either way, your going to have to flash a proper Engineering SPL that'll work with that radio, then flash the new radio, then the correct SPL. What are you showing in fastboot now?
sapphire unknowen 32a eng s0ff h
hoot 1.33.2010
cpld-13
radio-6.35.10.18
Alright, that one should be good. Where did you get the radio image your trying to flash and which radio is it?
ok so now this is what i have now
sapphire pvt 32a eng s0ff h
hboot 1.76.2007
cpld-13
radio-2.22.23.02
if thats right only prob i have now is i cant get into recovery...hold home power takes me to splash screen.....so how far off am i?
You need to get the stock SPL back on there. Flash recovery from fastboot, then flash the correct SPL, and then reboot. BE CAREFUL, if you flash the wrong SPL you may brick your phone. Give me about an hour and I'll link the correct files.
Sent from my T-Mobile myTouch 3G using Tapatalk
THANK YOU......i now have it back to stock had to get the right radio then i used ruu so we are back to stock.....now to root it which why do u recommend......the old or new way?
Download this, put it on the root of your SD card. With the phone booted, download/install "Appinstaller" from the market. Use it to install Universal Androot, then run the app, which will root your phone. Once Universal Androot root's your phone, start at Step #6 from this guide.

Bricked magic?

OK i've seen a million of these threads and i just want to confirm that i've bricked the htc magic my brother JUST gave me. It was running cm6 froyo redux and i wanted to get ginger yoshi on there. To do that i had to change the radio. I flashed the radio and then restarted as instructed. But then the phone went into boot loop. I can't boot into recovery and i'm not entirely sure how to access the bootloader. It is S-OFF if that gives me any hope at all.
Thanks for any help
If you have s off you could try mumilovers fastboot commander....I say this method as i found it so easy, just make sure u know what phone u have before doing anymore
Sent from my HTC Magic using XDA App
Yeah. Fastboot commander is great tool.
Btw, three modes:
Back + Power (fastboot)
Home + Power (recovery)
Volumedown + Power (hboot)
If phone does not load into any mode => brick
Sent from my A7-040 using Tapatalk
thanks guys. Will try today and get back to you
Sent from my HTC Desire S using xda premium
no luck getting into any of those modes. still getting boot loop.
almost had a glimpse of hope. Turned phone on and it didn't go into a boot loop. However, i foolishly turned it off to access fastboot. Will try again later and see.
You must turn phone off before load into any mode. Remove battery and place it back when bootlooping
Similar Problem!
Hey guys! I got a similar problem. I tried to get Ginger Yoshi 1.5 on my phone but had to change the radio and spl. I managed to change them both to 3.22 radio and 1.33.2010 spl but it changed from 32A to 32B. When I saw that I thought something must had gone wrong. I tried changing it back but what I did was a mistake, I think I flashed the stock spl wich I think it was 1.33.0013. I am now going crazy because my phone wont boot or go into recovery mode, all I get is fastboot mode but when I try to flash a new spl or radio I get "FAILED (remote: not allowed)" . Now I'm stuck with that problem and don't know what to do. Any help? (I posted here because all other threads seem to be from 2010, they're old and nobody answers them, and because it is a similar problem).
Thanks!
