Hi im sorry i had to post this as its probably been asked over and over but ive searched forum and cant seem to find a working solution for me.
I updated my HTC Touch ELF with Onyx ROM after updating SPL etc and everything went fine but couldnt get a signal etc on phone so decided to go back to old rom that i made a backup of untill i had done more research and found the ROM i wanted.
Reflashed the backup rom build i made everything looked good untill i went to boot and it just powered off after the orange brand logo.
I cant do the goldcard method as i have no other phone that can take the card i do however have a adapter for my pc for the card.
Ive treid the ubrick thread but cant get mtty.exe to use usb port.
Can somebody help me out to get this up and going again, Sorry for posting this i know its probably been asked many times but cant seem to get it going and am a n00b on this subject really.

Just managed to get that unbricking rom installed and booted so am gunna try and flash my original dump again.

Seems it some problem with my original backup as just doesnt boot after brand logo, When building with HTC Rom tool other files are green but OS file stays black does that mean the OS file is bad?
the adapter for ur card wont work, u need a WM device to make the goldcard method.

Cant seem to get my original dump back on though
I originally just wanted to update to windows 6.1 but there isnt a official update can you recommend the best/most stable unofficial one to use?
take a look at onyx, tess, touch hd or aether. and if u feel brave, u can try letama which is WM 6.5 beta
tried the onyx and another but cant find network just keeps "searching..."
what radio do u have? try with 3.34 or 3.39

Still having trouble with signal always searching, Installed latest radio version aswell.
[EDIT] whoops what a dumbass, I missed the pin entry at beginning which sometimes pops up but then boots into today screen if not enetered in time, finds signal straight away now
Hello , I flashed dutty's 1.8 ROM on to my HD , then on that same night I applied a screen protector and left it overnight . On the next morning , I tried to scroll to the messaging tab in TF3D , but my screen didn't respond , I think it has something to do with me using a bit too much solution to apply the screen protector , which still got scratched in the end .
I have decided to try using the warranty to fix the phone but first I want to flash back the stock ROM and SPL , is there a way to do this without using the touchscreen at all ?
EDIT : Ok now i'm stuck ,I've flashed a stock ROM but I can't restore stock SPL , i'm stuck at the 'align screen' section and the HardSPL RUU gives me a connection error 202 , last time i solved this by unchecking 'enable faster activesync' or something like that , but i can't go there now
Any advice ?

I can't see why not, using the RUU method might be easier but the SD card will let you do the ROM, not sure about SPL. Have a look at the tutorials.
Hello! I'm a french user and got the same problem since a few weeks.
Everything is left original on my phone (rom , programs ,...)and sometimes the screnn freezes after hanging up a call...impossible to get any reaction on the screen , only solution...soft reset and then the screen reacts perfectly again!!!????
Didn't find any solution on the web.

I've got exactly the same problem:
my touchscreen isn't working any more, and for warranty reasons i want to flash back to original rom and stock spl. Rom worked fine (O2_XDA_Diamond_1.93_RUU), but now I can't go back to the original stock spl.

But I've got the same "connection 202 error" as splink...
By trying the installation from the Bootloader runing on my Diamond, the screen and my pc shows an completed 100% installation of the stock spl, but when I take a look now at the bootloader, it's say again that im using the "SPL-1.40.OliNex"
Does anyone has got any idea how to get back to the original stock spl?
Had a similar problem using HSPL with communication errors when trying to get back to stock radio and stock spl. I used USPL in the end by first flashing the stock rom, then the stock radio and finally the stock spl (1.14). Then I reflashed stock rom and it all worked.
Using USPL you just rename the SPL rom image "BLACIMG.nbh" but you should be aware that there are risks (see post 236) involved doing it this way. I had no choice and took the risk and everything was ok.
Do read about it all in the USPL thread and there is some useful info in the HSPL thread as well.

btw: i cant find the sd card after the phone is frozen.. i have to format it through the usb cable in win.. the phone cant find it..

The radio version you've posted is incorrect, but I would start there at least, or flash to the latest stock rom as that should also include radio 2.15.50 which is compatible with Android.
Start there first (there are instructions on how to update your WinMo rom in the HD2 rom sections) and come back if it still doesn't work.

Hi every one. I had a problems with HD2, my original ROM was with a lot of problems, it restarted without no reason and so on. My colleage suugested to flash with another ROM, so I tride to flash a new ROM, did a Hardspl2 and now my HD is bricked, with triangle and no ROM also shiped (donwloaded from HTC web page by serial) is not working. Anybody help me? I tried lot of ROMs and no luck at least .... Triad also flash with original ROM via Micro SD no luck... Please help me!!!! URGENT!

Firstly its "ROM" not "room".
What do you mean "with triangle" ??
Which HD2 do you have and which ROM did you try flashing?
Can you get into tri-color bootloader mode?
Sorry i post my thread quickly. Yes i tried to flash a ROM, i have HD2 512MB. I tried to flash a 3.14.405 rom. triangle - i can get in tri-color bootloader mode, but when i try also flash original rom there is no result, it crashes on 9 or 17%. Triangle is a sign when i switch on a device, i believe it means ther eis no windows/rom on device

your device is not bricked... get into bootloader and do a task 29 (LOOK IT UP)...
Then start from scratch... Magldr, then whatever ROM you want.

Possible fix stuck bricked hd2 radio no rsa information
Please read the whole post first sorry about the mess it is my first post thanks to everyone here on xda who came up with everything i used to do this There is guides for this xda has a lovely list of tmous roms if you are on t mobile in the us http://www.xdafil.es/index.php?path=HD2/TMOUS/
i would start with the RUU_Leo_1_5_TMOUS_2.02.531.MASD_S__Radio_Signed_15.29.50.07U_2.06.50.04_TeleNav-5.5.42.zip
extract the .exe file if it has one than extract the RUU_signed.nbh from the .exe file using win war or 7 zip than rename it to LEOIMG.nbh and place it on a newly formatted microsd not a microsdhc and i had problems with anything over class 4
place it in your phone and hold the volume down button and power button as loading comes up let off volume down power button will start the flash(i was only able to do complete flashes in the freezer if not it would hang or get radio errors)
i also had a tmous which did not want to flash the radio i would get an an error and rsa fail it sounds crazy but i wrapped it in plastic and stuck it in the freezer for a while before and during the flash this was the only way i could install the radio and actually see rgd information on boot screen after this first one you will have an old test rom with an old spl you cannot change to hspl from here i also was not able to go straight to 2.10, i had to step up from RUU_Leo_1_5_TMOUS_2.03.531.6_Radio_Signed_15.30.50.07U_2.06.50.23_3_Test.zip, to RUU_Leo_1_5_TMOUS_2.03.531.6_Radio_Signed_15.30.50.07U_2.06.50.23_3_Test.zip the same way i did the first one,hard resetting after each one and let it open windows completely to know it is working. than i believe there is an hspl3 file somewhere out there with all thanks to DarkForces Team HardSPL3 by bepe and Cotulla i will try to attach it that will work with spl 2.02 wich you should now be on now you can download your radio in the master radio thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611787
i also just renamed the ruu_signed.nbh to LEOIMG.nbh and ran through sd i seem to have problems through usb and i was trying to be careful with the radio
once you got the radio you want you could flash the rom preferably running task 29 before or get yourself magldr to install through nand i also stuck my laptop an the freezer with the phone to get wp7 completely installed i did all this mess with a phone that had a broken screen i think there is like thermal compound over the processor to the case that is not on right and overheats when not in the operating system like a crappy old laptop with its fans full of stuff trying to install xp. and while a stock rom was being installed the usb was pulled during the radio installation i hope this helps i belive i saw one post to stick it in the freezer out of everything that i think helped the most.i also notice i have to put it in the freezer at boot too sometimes or i will get a fatal hit error i think its just over heating..... i also have an hd2 which has never been opened before that i have never had to stick in the freezer it gets flashed quite abit right now running gingerbread on normal hd2 and wp7 dual boot android 2.2 on the one i had to freeze i hope this helps i was here for weeks reading reading i was stumped cus my first hd2 and g1 were so eazy i will update this post once i stop being lazy and open the phone again to replace the goop to see if that is the problem

succesfull only one time, now i tried reflash an original rom once again and no results, still stucked in triangle. It's a first time when something like this happens

no luck at all I tried it once and have succesfull rom update, but it stucks when started with HTC logo, i tried second time and still no luck. Please help me.. all the time now also for original rom it says that this room is not for that device
original rom
you have to find the original rom shipped with your phone like here i am tmobile usa roms you have to find your carrier and country and start with one of the first ones i started with my second one RUU_Leo_1_5_TMOUS_2.02.531.MASD_S__Radio_Signed_15.29.50.07U_2.06.50.04_TeleNav-5.5.42.zip and i kept getting stuck screens when it was hot turn it off maby find some silica gel (lil rocks that come with everything to absorb water) wrap it in plastic and throw it in the freezer does the back of the phone get real hot during flash

you need one of the first test roms this was the only way i got mine to work i had to go from 2.02 to 2.03 to 2.05 hard resetting after each install making sure they completely went in what carrier are you and where are you

a) select 2.08.000 (not HSPL) and you can flash stock (HTC) ROM with no damage or aftermarket changes on your phone.
b) select 2.08.HSPL and you can flash whatever you want
Install MAGLDR 1.13
Flash ROM
Make sure you follow the instructions EXACTLY. You can find these all over XDA, look at all of my posts if you need to.

Ok, now i dont understand anything. My original SPL was 1.42, i did Hardspl 3, after that tried flash original rom, process stuck on 96%, after that i tried once again stuck on 9% and says rom not compatible with device. And its like a hidden circle, my phone is acting like that all the time. I tried task29, tried all HSPL, also 1.4200, 1.66 and so on. Can anybody help me? my skype nick is martins.prieditis , maybe someone can assist me?
Ok now its fixed. I did a HSPL4, due to which original rom freeze on 0%, but 3.14 didnt start up on loading OS (white screen with HTC logo))or freeze on 99%. Than went back to shipped 1.42, stock room succesfylly flashed and did a SSPL_RUU. Now the only problem is that my LEO restarts when it gets hot. Any ideas how to fix it?

Overheating??
As mrpoe stated in post 9, One of his phone had to be put in the freezer to be able to flash anything otherwise it will get hot and freeze.
Also the motherboard is most likely broken and you cannot get it to work without freezing or it will keep rebooting...
The best thing to do if you still have warranty is to Keep stock SPL and stock WM6.5 and return for warranty.
It will not function the same again.

Nore info needed:
What ROM ? (give us ROM name and OS type>WP7>WM6.5>Android or link to post or ROM file
What radio version ?
What hard SPL (HSPL) is installed ?
Boot screen will show radio, toggling to bootloader will show hard SPL version & if you installed ROM I expect you know what it was !
With above info you should get more & better accurate replies to assist your issue.
Well if you're making a child drive, what do think will happen?
Radio being. You're flashing incorrect drivers. And if the drivers are incorrect/totally incompatible, what do you think? The system can't correspond with the hardware, so what does the device become? Dead weight. A brick to hurt people with. A new mirror.
Rom is sort of the same thing. Depends on the rom however. e.g. stock or custom?

If you can manually put it to tri-colour boot loader you could try flashing an original ROM package by using device serial to download ROM from HTC website.
If device boots correctly after flashing original ROM you can proceed to upgrade but do some more thread research first.
Without some information requested before it is hard to give specific scenario advice.
