[Solved] Restoring Backups with Hyperspace game causes camera to break - EVO 4G General

I like to use Titanium backup because I like to go from FroyoEVO to DamageROM regularly. I had a serious issue that I troubleshooted. I reinstalled DamageROM 4 times and used process of elimination. It ended up that the Hyperspace game was the culprit. I don't know why it causes camera to break but it does.
I found this important and you all should too because this troubled me for days.

[Q] HyperdroidCM7 - why wont some apps work on DD or CC that work on BB?

Ok, here is my predicament which i find happening over. while on Boisterous Bearcat, i found that i had no problems with games like angry birds, Guerilla bob and skyforce. after updating to either Cheerfull-Cheetah or Deliberate-Diamondback, i got significant performance improvements (mostly due to the kernel) but now many of the games and apps i have force close on start. i've tried reflashing after wiping data/cache and formatting the system but it doesnt work. not sure what changes made could have caused this to happen. anyway im back on Bearcat and the apps work again. is there anything i can do to fix this problem?

Lots of APP issues with lots of roms

Hi guys,
I'm getting mad with my tablet. I have installed every ROM i could possibly install on my tablet, just to see if the problem went away, and it just won't! No game from Gameloft works on my tablet, it blinks on a weird way on many apps that require some use of 3D effects, and in many times, the apps continues to run but my video freezes and stops working, tough the rest of the tablet continues to work fine.
I don't know what else I can do. Is it something I did or something related to the hardware?

Camera keeps failing

I am not a power user like you guys, just a basic user so no roms or anything is installed other than nova launcher.
symptoms:
1)the regular back camera will work fine and take pics normally
2)if i try to switch to the front facing camera i get something like "camera failed" and it will freeze up and exit etc.
3)if i try to switch to video mode with the regular back camera the same thing happens.
4)both times i will have to clear cache through the system settings to get the regular back camera to start working again.
i have tried clearing cache through the system settings and also in the start up menu when you hold volume up+power+home button.
after those didn't work i even tried a factory reset which made me lose all my calender appointments and to do tasks even though i used app backup and restore
nothing has worked to fix this, what can i try next?
also, i think i got a lemon with this phone because most people really like this phone but my experience with it has been horrible. the thing has been laggy and buggy and things just stop working randomly including the ambient light sensor. i wish i could somehow trade this phone in for either a new one of these or something else.
GAH!! im sitting here updating my phone and its hot as hell. this thing frequently overheats. I never had any problems like this with the s1

The S4 always has an overheating issue when using it constantly depending on what you are doing, especially when charging it and using it at the same time. Google results came up with multiple 'solutions' for it, including multiple restarts, replacing the camera module, etc.
Has your phone ever been repaired? And have you tried using a new camera application?

Search Camera module on google. You'll see it's the camera hardware inside the phone. How old is the phone?

Asus Zenfone 5 poor performance after few weeks from root

I have rooted my Zenfone 5 and it worked fine with no problems at first. Apps runs fine with out crashing or lagging.
However after a few weeks from rooting my phone, I've noticed some poor performance. some apps jitters/lags or just crashes. However, if an application crashes, be it a game or something else, my whole phone crashes. I find it strange when a game/app crashes everything else crashes, ZenUI stop responding etc..
I have no idea why is this happening because I have not downloaded any apps or anything from the internet during those weeks. (aside from apps updating it's self from google play store)
I have no choice but to hard reset the device by holding down the power button. I did try to reinstall the applications that crashes but it's still the same.
Any help or suggestions? I'll probably try to unroot my phone later if it fixes anything.
If you still have the problems, flash the firmware fresh.

[FIXED][Stock 6.0.1] SPEN handwriting recognition crashes keyboard input

Hopefully this will help some with the same issue I had.
A few weeks ago, my Note 4 (SM-N910F, 6.0.1 Touchwiz ROM, rooted, Xposed...) started misbehaving badly, with apps (including system) unexpectedly crashing more and more with time forcing me to reboot regularly.
Factory reset would help, but I had trouble getting the phone exactly like I wanted it, so I kept going back to backups and the instability.
I tried to flash newer ROMs over again and this did not help either.
Another thing that started annoying me at that time was that SPEN input stopped working as text input. I could use the SPEN to draw, in S-Note, or even to swipe or start applications, but as soon as I would try to use handwriting recognition, the keyboard would crash. Direct input was no use either, not crashing but not converting handwriting to text.
I tried to clear cache/data on keyboard, looked around for meaningful SPen applications to clear data on, to no avail.
I did look around the Internet for people with a similar problem but none was really the same and none of the fixes worked for me anyway!
Yesterday, as I was preparing for yet another factory reset and backing up all my apps with Titanium Backup after making a full ROM backup with Flashfire, I noticed TiBu backing up an application I'd not noticed before called Handwriting DB Updater 1.5.0, and decided to give this a try.
As soon as my backups were complete, I went back into TiBu, looked for Handwriting DB Updater 1.5.0, and wiped its data from there. As soon as this was done, handwriting started working again so I decided to delay wiping the phone and I have been able to use it with no crashes for a few hours already.
I believe this is what was making my Note 4 unstable to begin with and I won't need another factory reset, but I'll be monitoring overall stability for the next few days just in case. And hopefully this will help others with handwriting recognition issues as well!
François
The instability infortunately is still there.
But spen keeps working.
