Video playback terrible after latest update - EVO 4G General

My videos recorded on the phone do not play worth a crap after the update. Way too much lag. Sound keeps playing but video stops. Anyone else having this issue?

Galaxy Note - video quality grainy??

I just received this Galaxy Note and noticed that on youtube video playback, the HQ playback on various vids look grainy and somewhat pixelated. My friend has a Nexus and the same playback looks really clear. I've always heard great things about the Note's screen so I'm really surprised and disappointed. This is noticeable on different brightness levels. Can anyone suggest what I can do to determine if my screen has issues or if there is some setting I have to tweak?
You need to update your YouTube app as the default doesn't use hd, just hq. Also HD only works over wifi.

Thanks bud, updating the app worked.
HQ=480p. Obviously when you compare it to true HD, the HD will look better...

I hope you don't have the black clipping issue that is widespread on dark videos. By your're description of pixellation, it sounds like you might... :-(

I just got my note and it's showing the black clipping issues that are described here.... should I return my not and try to get one that doesn't have this issue?

As soon as you can, yes. Some units play almost unwatchable videos. Better units r out there

Choppy sound in videos and recorded voice

My LG D802
I flashed UK rom over Turkey ROM.
The sound of recorded videos and sound is choppy. I did not have this issue in my first videos recorded a week ago.
Any ideas?

Am I the only one?

I think, my device has the same problem. But this happened from the first time without any changes on ROM.
My device is an unbranded D-802 with 32GB.
It doesn't matter, if I record a video or a voice message. If the sound is too low, you can hear sometimes nothing, or the sound is very choppy.
Things, if tested:
- alternative cam apps
- clear cache from recovery
- hardreset
- Cyanogenmod
- new firmware flash
At first, I thought that one of the microphones are broken. But it sounds the same, if I record the sound through the headset microphone.
This video shows the bug. You can hear nothing or choppy sound and with raised volume, all is fine.
The issue happens only in low sound / voice recording. I think it is a software issue to be fixed with update.

I'm not shure about that, because nobody mentioned that extreme stuttering in tests and reviews.
And this thread doesn't get many reply and you can't find similar threads.
Hm.., let's wait...
Same problem with my LG g2.

Netflix crackling noise?

I purchased the nexus player yesterday and went thru you know what to get Netflix working. Hard reset twice, to get it to show up. Now I'm having crackling noise coming from just Netflix.
The only way I've been able to get it to stop is to go to audio while playing Netflix, switch it to stereo instead of Dolby. Which isn't too big a deal but every time I watch something it reverts back. Is there a fix or am I the only one with the problem and need an exchange. Thanks, I've Google searched and searched xda with no luck.

I have the same issue. A few others are experiencing it as well. Here is another thread about it, but no solutions.

Video Shutter at 1080p 60fps

Hey guys,
Has anyone come across this issue? When recording in 1080p and 60fps I get terrible shutter in the video. It's happened at the start and during.
Now in the video I linked, my cell service was iffy, but in other videos it's been fine with the same result.
Now I am using a UHS-1 SD card, could that be the issue?

Thanks in advance..

No idea then. Wipe cache, sometimes fixes apps
