Longest Uptime? - Hero CDMA General

What's your longest uptime, regardless of usage you've had with the Hero?
You know, Settings>About Phone>Battery>Up Time
I'm at 37 Hours and 51 Minutes, @ 51% Battery

Currently 27 hrs on DD2.7 @ 46% with just under 6hrs of awake time
Edit: forgot to add, 3g (data connection) was off for much of that time. mostly just calls/texts

you should change the title of the thread to include, PICS OR BAN!

I'm on about hour 50 now.

i had 127 hours uptime on zenexp but had to restart because i couldnt download an app from the market

113 hours yesterday. i rebooted because i wanted to flash the froyo test rom and try it out.

25.40 with 97% battery. Although I did unplug it 3 hours ago lol
Sent from my HERO200 using XDA App

I'm at about 90 hrs right now running the deodexed vanilla sprint ROM and the darch710 OC kernel.
I stick it on the recharge cable when I get home and leave it hooked to my laptop while I'm at work, so I can't give you any stats about battery life.

Haha you guys are all jabronies Pix or it didn't happen
I forgot to upload them a while back, just saw it in my pic-me folder while posting somewhere else.
Again this is DarchDroid 2.7 with uv kernel, no autokillerz and only using the pandora widget. Plus turning off 3g while at work bc of bad service.

mine says 290:06:06 but I can't upload from my phone. I took a pic using shoot me and will upload this evening when I get home.....also says awake time is 209:06:06

I think he means time since unplugged, as in battery time

I'll get a pic next time, but my record uptime is 18 days, 16 hours. So, 448 hours.
Got that while running the Damageless 2.8 rom.
I'm running Darchdroid 2.7 now and am currently at 122 hours. I'll post again when I hit the +400 mark.

If the OP wanted battery time, then they should have said so.
"Uptime" means the amount of time a system has been up and running continuously without being shutdown or rebooted.
If battery usage was wanted, then 'time between charging' would have been the better way to pose the question.

I'll just let the screenshots do the talking for me.

i did have around like 135hrs on my phone but then i decided to try out the new damage control(which i ended up coming back to my old rom..lol) by now im at
13hrs:32mins:35sec-up time
7hrs 27mins 50sec awake time

About to restart, but thought I'd throw this in there:

The image speaks for itself, but I'll add some info. I have a SetCPU profile for screen off that sets it to 245 min and max, and I haven't been using the phone hardly at all the past two days. Wifi has been on the entire time.
Normally, after 8 hours of light use, my phone would be dead with Android System taking up about 40% of the battery, and the three radio entries taking up about 16% each.
I've been using CyanogenMod 6.1.1 since the day it came out, with it's built-in kernel, not Pershoot's. I've done nothing else custom. The only thing that I can correlate with this change in battery life is a new version of SetCPU came out a couple days ago.
Or maybe it's just an unrelated fluke, and tomorrow whatever battery-eating bug exists in the system will rear its ugly head again. I dunno. All I know is I've never seen battery life like this on my G2.
101% yaaaaay I can add

Screen not even registering as using any?
most of my usage is screen for 60%+ (maybe 2 hrs on)
and 15~18 hours tops!
You still geting great battery life I have the same setup and battery life is average not as good as 6.1
I do not mean to highjack your thread but I have a question. For the cell standby power consumption, what is registered as the amount of time with no signal? I am in a full HSPA+ area and it still tells me that 50% of the time my phone has no signal, how is that possible? Thank you for your responses.
I managed 56 or 59 hours once and the display wasn't on the list either. I mentioned this in another thread but it was generally ridiculed and dismissed
i lose about 50% of battery with hspa on during a 8 hour shift. Of course random facebook and texting is going on.
I noticed an improved battery life with the unofficial Gingerbread builds. Did Google finally get it right?

That has been my experience, though I'm still stuck using the stock HTC sense since I updated to 1.72 before rooting.
Whenever I check battery use, the Display is ALWAYS the highest consumer, by a large margin. I usually see 60-70% Display, and the cell standby, etc are only a few percent. Now I'm really upset I can't root it for the forseeable future.
Did you just not ever touch the phone at all? I mean, the display isn't even listed!!?!?
As I said, I was barely using the phone at all.
Right now I'm at 95% after 10 hours of non-use. I don't remember this ever being possible in the past.
Even when I actively use the phone (at least in the past) Display would never be very high. Android System was always #1 with the radios beneath that, and Display somewhere around 6%, as I recall.
In the time it took me to write this post mostly in Swype, I lost 2% so my crazy battery life seems limited to the screen being off (with the corresponding very low cpu speed). Still, it's never been this good before.
lol the title is hilarious just had to say

I bet the lcd being not used plus wifi instead of 3G is the reason. Plus, I think it's witchery not wizardry, lol! Maybe both... whatever they are both hilarious! Ah, the days of yore!

A new personal record

I am down to 10% and plugging it in but I have been really impressed with the battery life since the update.
I take it off of the charger at 6am and was usually on the search for a charge at around 8pm. I haven't been nursing it along but I made it a full 36 hours (1 day 12 hours 6 minutes 2 seconds).
I am on rooted 2.2 and using "Juice Defender".
(the pic is in the wrong format! Grrr)

but whats new ?
Yeah I've been finding the same thing. The battery life on KA6 is *WAY* better than JFD or JI6. I've gone 36hrs too and 2% drop overnight (with wifi disabled, data synch disabled - interestingly I noticed in SystemPanel that the CPU actually goes into idle now and it never did before). I did freeze wifi calling though as it was chomping through my battery pretty well.
Can anyone comment on how stock KA6 battery life compares to Axura or Nero ROMs? I'm intrigued...
as for me bionix ate my battery within hours bloat free KA7 holds up all day even tho i listen to mp3 most of the day and bs arround on web

I personally get up to 25 hours with everything still on (auto rotate, data sync, 3g on, auto brightness, etc.). I am running axura 2271 w/ voodoo enabled and ka7 modem.

I am extremly happy with the battery life that Bionix V has been giving me. Right now, i'm at 12% 3G on GPS on
1Day 3H 43Min
Display 43%
Voice calls 26%
Wifi 15%
Cell Standby 11%
Phone idle 5%
I'm getting around 48h with Bionix-V. But I'm not a power user, just text and tweet a lot.
1 day 3hr 30 mins, at 47 percent with light use, text, facebook, xda. Using nero v5 voodoo. I assume bionix v is same or better.

Forgot to add that battery is at 33% when I took the screen shot.

How much did you actually use your S2?
My guess is very little, look at the power use ratio of screen vs. cell standby, they are almost the same. Right my phone is 57% display vs. 3% cell standby.
This looks like barely open SGS2, no wifi , barely touched...

Exactly, posts like this are tragic in my book, oh look how many hours i get, anyone can get that if you don't or barely use your phone.
Wow what a pointless first post.. Congratulations on not using phone..
Anyone could get battery life of xxx hours if they never use there phone, it's the screen on time that everyone cares about since generally people with such amazing devices rooted and pimped can't put there phone down...
I get 4:30 hours with CheckROM 4.0 and DK kernel, all values to stock... and that's with playing games! My battery is the stock one.
I guess with minimum brightness, underclock and undervolt and no games i can get 5+ hours but I wouldn't count that as normal usage either.
i charge mine everyday and always excited and looking forward to charging.

Fantastic....
If you wanted to buy a phone you aren't going to use and then brag about not using at all for 100 hours maybe next time you could review this?
Would make you look a fair bit less ridiculous, you would have got the same use out of it and would have saved you over £300...
The only great thing about having such a great battery life and not using your phone is if you end up losing it, which is unlikely if its lying there on the side all the time.. At least you know its bound to stay awake for a few days so you can send over Plan B and locate it. Funnily enough I went on a cruise this year, start of November and after 5 days of no use (being in the middle of the Ocean n all, i went to grab my phone from inside the suitcase to find it was still turned on, (i swore i turned it off) and the battery dropped no more than 40 percent. Was amazed to find it last so long, especially as i've not got the patience to leave it dormant for so long.
keep your galaxy off and the battery usage could be increased to a year lol
bought one of the best phone in the market and not using it all features? rofl
dont have what to say
This post is similar to "Hey look at my mileage of the car that is parked in the garage".
Kinda pointless imo.
Lot of comment you got there LOL
Mine are using about ½% per hour in standby (little sync, good 3G connection, no Wifi), so it might last for about 200 hours (8 days) ... if I ever should go into some kind of long lasting coma where I couldn't use my phone

Abysmal Battery Life

No, it was valid screen usage. But I normally pull between 3-4 hours of screen on --- this is 30 minutes and the phone is dead. xD

No one else will have a clue as to what happened either unless you give more information than that screenshot .
ROM? Min/Max frequencies? Governor? Did the phone feel extremely hot during those 38 minutes? Did you try a reboot? What happened after you recharged it? Same or better battery life?
I didn't even know it was possible to eat through the entire battery in under an hour. Seems like it might be a messed up battery and/or battery calibration thing. If you want more information than in that screenshot, you can try installing BetterBatteryStats

I'm thinking it was just a fluke... I woke up, did some browsing, ran a timer (hence the screen-on time), got in the car to go to work and "14% remaining" popped up. I rebooted a few times to see if it was just reporting incorrectly --- but it had actually drained.
Typically I pull ~13 hours, ~3 of screen-on, and ~7 of Pandora. I'm more than satisfied with battery.... normally. It seems to have gone back to around that level after a recharge, but I'll know for sure tomorrow.
Battery was fine today. Sitting at 23 hours on ~130% battery (some slight charging halfway through), 20% remaining, 3.5 hours of screen, and 7 hours of Pandora.
I guess my phone had a case of the Mondays.... on a Tuesday.
Most likely had something go wrong with the battery stats.
I had it happen before. I knew my device was around 30 percent battery life. I hooked up to the charger and in less than 5 minutes it said 100 percent. So it would charge further.
Drained the battery fully and quickly of course like the op and fully charged. Haven't had it happen again though.
The battery reporting on the nexus is pretty bad

I've been waiting for my battery to die. This is my normal use. I just do what I normally do.
Streamed music to my car while driving for a while
browsed reddit/xda and other forums a lot... mainly on WiFi.
Had data/wifi disabled when I didn't need it on... really no point. Takes 3 second to enable it again
~50 texts with a few MMS sent. I'm not a popular person
checked voice mail once.

LOL Oh. Yeah your right. Didn't realize that. I have wireless chargers everywhere "even made one that was non-slip for my truck" must have put it on one sometime and forgot. Sorry bout that guys. Btw That was an old screenshot I just had in my gallery from not long after I got the phone.

I have the moto Maxx, Mexican firmware. I´m from Argentina.
Could you tell me guys the version and the baseband of yours?
Because it seems that the latin america version the battery is barely poor.
Thanks!
Damn... Going beast mode with this battery. Would've gone longer, but gotta use it more tomorrow when I'm out. Ya, I know I only have 4hrs of SOT. Haven't been using much
I assume anyone getting more than 48 hours of battery life is turning off data, or at least disabling updates/background data. Just out of curiosity, do you always keep that turned off, or do you just do that when you're seeing how much you can squeeze out of the battery? In my mind, the big reason to get a device with a big battery is so you don't have to baby the battery like that.
