Problem with app: say my name dessert - Desire Themes and Apps

Hi all!
Well I have installed an app from store called 'say my name dessert'.
This app says the name of the contact who calls you.
I think it's very handy.
My problem is, while incoming call, if I press the volume button I can turn off the ringtone but the above app still calls the name..
I'd prefer to turn off the volume of that app too while I press the volume button during incoming call.
Does anyone think I can do it or can anyone suggest another app with what I need?
Thank you,
Dimitris

You could always e-mail the dev. If there's one difference I've noticed between the Android market and the App Store, it's that devs are usually more than happy to add features/work you through problems you might be having. Give it a shot!

thank u for ur suggestions! i ll give the dev a try!

If you mean the button - just go to the button options in settings and change it to none or another app.
Not sure what you mean by disable?
Matt
Well, I mean that by using a bluetooth headset it happens that the voice dial program pops-up accidentally when I push the end of call button on the headset. Is it possible to disable the software ? Thank you,

Callback situation

ok i have an Asterix voip server, adn i was wondering if this is a possible app to make something very simple yet gets the job done..
i wanted for windows mobile basically,, ok press a button or icon, that starts dialer dials a number, then after ringing for X amount of seconds (lets say 2) it hangs up and exists the dialer app. (then of course my thing will callback.. AKA, basically a button that i press that will dial a number, then cancel process in give 5-10 seconds.. how would this be done?

Incoming call text back feature

For the life of me, I can't find where to edit the responses without actually editing it when I'm receiving a call. Does anyone know where to find the list of responses for this so I can add a few? TIA
settings --> call settings -->All Calls -->> Reject Call With Message
You can add a message and edit/delete message by hitting the menu button.

Google Voice has the option to mark numbers as spam, so when I have to use my phone to call people I don't necessarily want to be able to call me back I use it and if there is a problem google Voice eliminates it. I don't give out my t-mobile number because then people will bother me.
Fortunately the person who i rejected with a text was not bright and asked who was texting. I apologized and said "Sarah", they said they didn't know a Sarah and I said oh, sorry wrong number... Then I called them back from GV later that night.

[Q] Default Phone Number

I've searched the Fascinate forums for a question on this and came up with nothing, so sorry if this has already been asked earlier.
I just got my Fascinate a few days ago and I was wondering if there was a way you could set a default phone number for each contact? For example, when you click on a contact to call and you have their Home and Mobile phone numbers, it asks you which one you want to call. I think it's somewhat annoying to have to do this each time if you know the majority of the time you want to call their cell phone.
Thanks for any answers!
If you go into your contacts app, select the contact you want to set a default for. Then hit your menu key. At the bottom there will be an option that says "Mark as Default", click that option and then select the phone number/email address you want to use as the default. Now click save. That should do it.
Thank you! By the way, is there a way to call a contact directly from the list of contacts? I know you can swipe your finger to the right over the contact to show the two icons for "Call" and "Message", but is there a way to just directly call the contact with one touch/swipe?
I find the Samsung dialer to be rather lacking. I would highly recommend that you give Dialer One a try. Free app, no ads, and much more customizable.

Actually, after setting the default number, when I press "Call," it still asks me which number to call....

Missing voice call in contacts

Hi
I've just upgraded to 2.2 (standard Europe JPO rom).
In my contacts I have a "message" button and "video call" button. What happened to the "voice call" button? I cannot make a voice call using the contacts without remembering the number in the contacts and keying the number directly.
Has anyone else seen this problem? Is there a configuration setting I've missed, or is there a fix?
Any help is kindly appreciated.
Simply click on the number to make a voice call.

Well I'l be.... Thanks amwebby. I guess I got too used to seeing the button in Eclair (2.1) that it didn't occur to me.
