[APP] SRS WOW HD on Touch Pro 2 working!!! - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Themes and Apps

I had recently changed to Rhodium from my beloved Blackstone.
I love the sound that produced by SRS WOW HD on my blackstone.
so i went google for it and see whether its available for my touch pro 2.
and to my surprise. There were issues.
So I decided to giv a try on the same cab that downloaded from Blackstone forum.
and WA-LA... its working!!!
Sound is way better and louder. Used it with Audio booster together.
Whole lots of difference.

Hate to break it to ya dude
If you use a newer build (don't remeber which one started it) you will have new drivers. These drivers do not work well with SRS WOW. You will get the fantastich sound back again....along with SOD. It should happen within four hours or so. But it may not. Just remember, if your phone hangs (sleep of death), reset, de-install SRS WOW and you should be fine.
I will check in a few days if you've had an SOD. Please do keep us informed . I would love to use my BT headset again. Now I carry an Icrap around for my music.

Its been whole week I'm using it with latest Energy ROM and it works fine for me... but i do not use BT headset, so i not sure its working. Though I hope it works... Feel free to give comments back here dude...

i have been using SRS WOW HD for almost 3 months and no SOD issues here! Maybe its Rhodium specific... or maybe i'm just lucky.

Forgive my noobitry... whats srs wow hd?
Looks like an audio driver, yes?

Freedompeace, thanks for sharing, but I'm having problems with the SRS WOW HD you uploaded.
I'm using the first official HTC SEA Winmo 6.5 ROM with Sense 2.1 After following the installation instructions in the readme.txt, my phone lost all sound and the SRS Control Panel said that the driver could not be detected (even though the driver was in the Windows directory). I managed to get my sound back after installing the program. Do you happen to know how to solve this problem? Thanks!

how did u get sound back mine is gone help please??

I just uninstalled the SRS WOW HD program and restarted. Everything was back to normal after that.

Basically, SRS WOW HD is a sound enhancer for ur device to produce greater sound. and indeed, after the installation, u will get a whole lot difference of sound.

I think it could be the ROM tat doesnt support it. try use Energy rom. It giv me good results with it.

is this used for just BT, or does this also work with the phones speakers?

I probably should have mentioned that. SRS WOW HD does something with/to the BT driver. I only use it in conjunction with an AD2P capable headset. For some reason Rhodium devices get a SOD. This has not been reported on HD2. I used it on Raphael without any problems but since December 2009 Microsoft/XDA-Dev's changed something which introduced the SOD. I gave up. Got tired of testing and noticing (too late) that my phone did not respond anymore.

The BT enable disabled my BT & forced me to hard reset even after uninstalling. A complete waste of time......

causes issue with wired headset
I noticed that if my wired headset (using USB to 3.5mm adapter) became disconnected while playing music all audio was silenced and I was forced to soft reset to clear the issue. The problem is gone after uninstalling the cab. What a shame, I liked the settings options this came with.

it can be used for both, its an amazing software.. i use to use it since 2008

but sadly not working with energy rom 4-9 built

thanks for resolution for SLEEP OF DEATH.

works on Tilt 2
AWESOME on Tilt2!!!!
i just upgraded from tilt2 to HTC inspire and the inspire came with srs surround so it got me thinking wat my old tilt 2 would sound like , and its great! the sound difference between both rele depends on individuall eq settings but its still awesome!
no crashes or freezing on most recent energy rom

TG01 toshiba mobile 6.5 rom update refresh- call quality

i have moved on to touch hd but interested to see if new 6.5 toshiba build has actually fixed call quality issues.
so please leave a comment gripe
Without a doubt, call quality issues are now gone completely
Hi all,
Well I've waited a while before commenting but i must say i am very happy with my TG01 and this new build as it has fixed the one issue i had with my TG01 call quality. It may not have come as fast as many of us would of liked but at least it did come shame they haven't really promoted it either Orange or Toshiba. I was quite close to replacing my TG01 with a HD2 but now feel that would be a total waste and am happy to stick with my TG01. I'm not sure what else has changed besides the Radio but it does seem smoother and faster throughout and I'm a happy TG01 owner.
Marc
if i set my phone to shake answer ,
if i dont lock the phone it works correctly , but if i lock the phone via sleep button it answers calls immediately ...

last night i ditched orange
hello 02 & the call quality coming thru the speakers is like a PA system in comparison
i actually had to turn the volume DOWN... 1st time ever
nice
Now it sounds like a real phone. I hope Toshiba will up a German Rom. but UK version works really nice
after the fix, audio quality it's fine, also trough bluetotth headphone, wich finally work in the right way!
Internal GPs works like before (tested with iGo8 and Navigon 7.4.0 build 962) without any splitter, and with external bluetooth gps gns 5870 + tmc.
Still have some compatibility problems with device.exe (but disabling WM error report, everything it's ok).

[Q] Notification halts music playback

So I've searched using "keywords" and scoured through many similar posts on this issue within the forum and through Google with no luck, so I'm posting this request now.
Is there any way to prevent a new message/text notification sound from halting music playback?
I hook up my phone to the car to blast the music but when I get a text, it stops/halts/pauses the song, plays the notify sound, and then resumes playback.
I don't want to turn off the notifications all the way, I just want to have the notify sound play OVER or ON-TOP of the music playback
The phone is still running just the stock rom, but if you guys suggest an app or rooting, then I will do whatever it takes, thanks!
This is part of MOST phones. My phone does it, the G1 does it, my friends BB does it.
thanks fenixnr....so is there nothing that can be done to correct this on an Android device?
I know in the past I've had Windows Mobile devices with the same issue (Xperia X1) and some of the ROMs I flashed on it corrected the issue while others did not. My HD2 doesn't have this problem and it has a dedicated 3.5mm headphone jack too.
Am I the only one who has noticed this
I was hoping someone else would have wanted the same thing resolved.

There is nothing to "resolve" as I am pretty sure that is by design how it should work. I cannot test this now, but try putting your phone into a silent mode when listening to your music... Of course, keep your media volume up for your music.
If memory serves me right I think that cm kanged expresso rom had the feature to play notification out of the speaker when headphones were plugged in. Cm6 might have that feature too. I'm not sure though.

honestly if its only a problem when you plug your phone into the car, just put your phone on vibrate or turn the notification off.
Yeah this is honestly the one thing buggin' me right now.
I walk to work it's about a half hour walk to and from and I don't give a damn about my notifications during that time. Hah.

HD2 android audio cut off (possibly not clrcard)

Hi guys,
I had android runing on my mates HD2 for a few months then the phone broke so he has a new HD2. He wanted android again so I have done the following.
Ran;
HSPL 3
Radio_2_12_50_02_2
and for windows he was getting annoyed with having to run clrcard and haret every time so I installed Energy.leo.com2.barebones. wm.build.for.android
This loads windows barebones then flying automatically into android.
Have tried 2 versions of android;
froyostone sense
and
Mdeejay_froyo_sense_v._2.3_clean__15.7z
Both of these boot up fine with no issues and for the first 20 seconds I can use the volume control to make the phone 'beep' with ring volume.
after this the audio just stops working alltogether.
Anyone got an idea why this is?
could the energyrom not autorun clrcard?
***EDIT***
Seems the energyrom didn't run clrcard
Met my mate this afternoon and got him to run it manually and all is well
anyone know of an autorunning app which works?
thanks
Darren

TOMMYYEE - You are BRILLIANT!!.. Have been on for over a week - Sat in front of my computer flashing different ROMS, Radio & Operating... etc and knew it had to be something very simple. No Audio In Android & No Sound is now FULLY WORKING, just be setting off all the sounds in Winmo 6.5 before launching Android. Can't say how ecstatic I felt reboot after reboot and STILL WORKS. Was driving me CRAZY.. THANKS for the Tip!

[Q] Fix for headset 1 speaker only?

Hey guys, has anyone figured out a fix for the headset problem where you only can hear from the left ear speaker and it's at a very low volume?

i am usin a bluetooth stereo headset, the sony ericsoon mw600, and i don't have any issues with it. Always listening to music and sound comes from both earbuds.
The problem lies in when you try and make a phonecall. For music I'm golden, It's only when I try and make a call that the fail begins...
This has been reported and is in the list of fixes for the next update.
Same problem...
Exactly the same...discovered such a consistent problem with the earphones with the calls myself. This relates to a software problem or device difference I think. Since this is a beta problems surely will exist. In addition the other party has difficulty hearing my voice from the earphones microfone. Only left earphone is working. However I recall in the first days of the usage; having spoken without problems with the earphones (both working). Do you have sound enhancer installed? Have you changed any settings. I will try default settings and an uninstallation tomorrow since it has no functionality (not working at all). Will report later...see ya all
I know it's been reported, I was one of the first to report it. Just seeing if there is a fix I missed.
Well, I've flashed WinMo7 a few times now and noticed that the headset workes fine and dandy up untill I activate XBOX live. Immediantly afterwords the headset problem begins. Im sure this will all be fixed with an update. Just curious if anyone knows of a quickfix I might have missed.
By the way, I think I kinda love WinMo7.
Thanks guys

somebody care to help me out? Cause I really need Handsfree!!!
Id love an answer also, That was my next genious idea. I was like oh well guess I'll just look like a douce and use blue tooth and then.... mehhhhh

[Q] Trouble using earphones

Sometimes when I plug my earphones in, the music player shows it as playing, but there's no sound in the earphones. When i remove them, it works fine through the speakers. Tried using different earphones, but same result. Have to restart the phone to be able to use the earphones again.
I have been experiencing this problem since 3 days now.
Has anybody else experienced similar problems? Any solution?
I'm using stock Gingerbread on Moto Defy+.
Please ask all questions in Q&A. Thread moved there.
At first, I see only 2 options, despite trying another ROM:
1 - Try other music players.
2 - Be sure that you haven't changed any option in any Voice Search / Dialer. And if you have changed, try to reset to default options.

Hmn... in tha case, there's still a lot of things to do.
If the problem is with the phone's jack, you can try to clean it with a blow or compressed air.
There's a bunch of apps, like Ringo Pro, that are known to cause some similar issues, as reported in this thread: https://forums.motorola.com/posts/6f261e8427?commentId=564506#564506
After all, if you'r not willing to root and flash other roms in your phone, you might also try bluetooth earphones.

If dust etc were the problem, it wouldnt have worked after restart.
I went through the forum in the link. I havent installed any such app recently. The post might be useful for future though, thanks for that.
