Is there other way to switch the radio on/off in XDA II

The traditional way to switch the radio on/off is very not convenient! We have to tap on icon in taskbar, wait for appearance of bubble and then tap on the tiny text "Turn Wireless On/Off" in the bubble.
Is there simple way to switch the radio on/off manually? E.g: a small software can toggle the radio on or off every times we run it?
Hi there...
Hope this will help ya. I suggest to put it somewhere on your Start Menu, it was made really silent to help you on avoiding extra graphics
ps: didn't have enough time, so it might be buggy
Change the application to switch from ON 2 OFF and from OFF
Hi.
Could please change(or send me the source code???) the aplication, to work like a Phone Switch, whenever you run the application, it will change from Radio On to Radio Off and if you run it again will change from Radio Off to On.
thank you,
Nuno Cardoso.
Hey, nice tool!
It does switch radio OFF and ON when you tap on the icon.
ya, thanks to HTC very much, this is really what I need.

Screen off app???

I need an app that will let me turn off the screen from a button when I'm using my mapping software, just to save the battery.
Is there anything really simple that does just this?
Ideally, I'd like it to only work when a specific app is running.
Thanks.
Hi
How about this app.:
psShutXP - turn off, display off PDA

That's great.
Thank you.

No SMS notification sounds

Hello!
After I flashed rom 1.48 WWE, HD2 has no new SMS sound anymore. Also it doesn´t vibrate. I´ve tried disable threaded mode but it didn´t help. Any ideas ? And please, don´t tell me to check that I have system sounds on or that I have checked "enable sounds for notifications".... Not playing first time with these.
Thanks
Jansku

TAHNKS AGAIN !
Its because BSB twaeak... there is a bug and i dont know where. I sugest dont install bsb.
I had this but resolved it last night
I had this problem too. No message notification sounds, or when I used volume up and down.
Fixed it by going into settings by pressing the Windows button, and selecting Settings, then Sounds & Notifications.
This brings up the plain WM6.5 menu. I was able to turn on the sounds again by selecting:- Programs. There are also options for hardware buttons and screen taps.
All seems well again now.
Resolved for me too
by going into settings and pressing the Windows button, settings ...
Thanks rockfan35

Turn off vibration in keyboard, but not elsewhere.

Hi guys,
Ran a search for this but couldn't find the solution. I am able to type quicker with the vibration feature turned off, but I really like it when I am using the rest of the phone.
Is it possible to just turn the feedback off for the keyboard, but leave it active in Sense and everywhere else.
Max.

Use BSB Tweak is 1 option!
I'm not seeing this in BSB to JUST turn off the keyboard vibration?
May be you can try this which is provided by MIRI
forum can be found here
Good luck
Have any luck?
If it's for HD2, go to the settings tab, personalize, then vibration.

Wake up workaround?

I think that the wake up issue is caused by a conflict between windows and acer relating to the < End Key > fuction.
I've tried this for a day and it works for me:
Of corse uncheck < Auto adjust backlight by battery level>!
preferences-phone-check wake up from sleep
preferences-End Key-choose lock and suspend
Settings-System-backlight-battery tab-check both boxes
Settings-System-backlight-external power tab-check both boxes
Settings-personal-buttons-button 2 choose <Today >from menu on the bootom
TO WAKE UP PHONE: PRESS ( < ) button at bottom of device.
This W\Official acer ROM( don't know about settings in cooked ROM)
Also:< SRS-WOW HD> works beatifully on stock Rom
1.Installed SDK certs., .net config.3.5 Then:
2.Install SRS-WOW HD to device ( afer installation finishes *SOFT RESET*)
3.after reset go to settings-Sys-srs wow icon open and make personal adjustments.
Hoping this works for all!
Nice to see that other people also trying to get this working. But do you really think that you need to open new Thread?
Besides, if you use 3.003c folder for flashing custom ROM - my Custom ROM and Arto´s are already using that - there is no need to turn the Automatic Backlight off.
If you are using S2U2, just use the Power button to send your device into stand-by mode. Don´t send it to sleep mode with holding end call button!
You are not gonna have wake up issues more.

That's not what I said,
I said " uncheck auto backlight by BATTERY LEVEL"
anyway, I have used Arto's rom and there were no issues.
I tried to flash yours but couldn't, so I went back to stock with intentions of
tryng your module rom 'cause I think that it's a brilliant idea!
in the end I stayed stock and added features that I liked.
I applaud both you and Arto for your work!!
I started a new thread because as I also said for " Official acer ROM " users
I also used to be an avid S2U2 user on my F900 and don't use it on my S200 because there seems to be constant conflict between s2u2 and acer or windows. So I used the s2u2 setting "don't suspend phone"
I have tested this method(1st post) of waking the phone from standby even after long pressing end key and phone always woke up to home screen. ( even after several hours of sleep/standby)
I only wanted to give my method of simply waking the phone no matter how it was put into standby. If it works for someone else as well I'm happy
I would still like to use your titanium theme is it possible?
acer900,
Thanks for a method, I will try)
