i have been looking at phones and have come across the XDA EXEC.
i was wondering the rough price that i should expect to pay for it.
Also wondering if this is upgradable to have windows 6.5 on as that would be pretty awesome.
I also know this phone is old so would there be anything i need to do to update it and are there any good games for this phone?

It will run a bit slow but acceptable, I am using it with no issues.
you can´t install Sense 2.1 or 2.5 it will simply won´t work on Uni.
But if you are looking for a faster ROM better try Tomal 8.2, 8.5 or 8.9 all in WM6.1

After checking out the HTC Shadow it looks like the Neo interface is portable to other devices.

2) More interested in the Homescreen. I've seen the touch interface used on non touch devices so why not just the opposite (It's a plug-in dlls, xmls, graphics, etc.).
Think outside the VOX! Couldn't resist!

I have a friend with the shadow, i love the interface, will be nice if we can port it to touchscreen devices,

I just bought it in ebay and I would like to give it at my father, but before I would like to upgrade very old winCE 2003 for a WM5 or 6, but my question is : Is it possible to take a rom loke faman rom and put it on this device.
Hope it will be good, because lot of new software don't work on this old platform.

Simple answer: it probably won't work.
In my experience, ROMs are only usable on the device they were made for. I don't know Faman, but if he is on this site then he is probably cooking ROMs for HTC phones. You will do best to find a ROM that has been made for the Asus and trying to install that.

Well I think it depends on the device and how old it is. If the device is vga or qvga. Post the name of your device and you can get a real answer!

I also believe that a special graphics driver used in WM6.5 is required before it will work, because when the first few releases came out it was disabled.

The links are hardcoded and only allowed the first 6 icons to work (the others are duplicates only).
It works very well on the PC, sadly the cpu and video driver of the current devices (hint -> HTC ) arent nearly as good.
I got most of the code from here: http://www.gamemeal.com/bimg/20070303.html
...and just resized, optimized for QVGA and added the "click on the icons" routine.
I'm posting the source-code because I see that I wont be able to do much more, and anyone else may want to play around with it.
I exported it on Flash lite 3.1 to speed it up a little bit, but not enough I'm afraid.
The cab needs to be installed from the PPC (for some reason I cant seem to be able to use it on winCEsetup or WinCEcabManager).

Ok here i attach a screenshot of my device running wm 6.5.3.3 build 23102. I posted this for the proof specially for those people who do think that wm 6.1 is faster. Indeed it is but you know wm 6.5 can be cooked even faster here is the proof in wm 6.1 at initial u can get free ram 75. But see in the screen shot its approx 81mb actually 82 but due to screenshot taking app running its 81.

As you know only problem that wifi bug although nguoc told me the solution but it didnt worked and iam 100% sure that i havent properly done what he said so i have replied him, waiting for his reply.... and yes that rom is really faster than wm 6.1 ha ha more than 10 mb ram extra its very much useful.
