i have cooked a rom with cookie as external packages after flash the standby lock not working but its works great when i install cookie and cht editor as cab....will u please help if anyone have a solution........

what do you use to make your EXT pkg from cab? as a suggestion use the cab converter look for it in the kitchen tools repository stickie

If you are not using an English 0409 ROM, try to modify the "startup" folder in the EXT app.dat following your localized startup folder. The file of the lock application has to be in the right startup folder to execute
Example: in 0410 ITA LANG STARTUP=Esecuzione automatica

yes yes..;u got it man ...thank u very much its works great now like i have cooked french rom...i have to change the "Startup" to "Démarrage"....thanks once again .......;

You should have .NET compact framework v2 installed first if you haven't done so. Google for it. Hope that helps.

what language is your rom?
If you use other language rom than 0409 WWE you have to rename some
files to get the stuff work.

For HTC Home go with File Explorer (Resco or similar)
into windows folder and rename the following file from
HTCHome.dll.0409.mui
to
HTCHome.dll.0416.mui
or
HTCHome.dll.0816.mui
depending on the language code of your rom.
For other applications that don't work, search for
more 0409 muis and try to change to same language code
for your portuguese rom. After softreset most apps should work.

i think that's the problem...
you have to found a footprints cab in your language, but i think it's very difficult to find.
i've the same problem...the only solution is to dump a iolite CHS rom and cook footprints package in your rom

mmmm.... I'm at work and mediafire here is blocked by proxy .... I'll try it at home.... but a MUI is a CAB you can install on the already flashed phone? Or is a kind of "plugin" to be used in the cooking process?

it need to be cooked, making a cab may work partially but it would be a difficult task

you will need a kitchen, you can use my kitchen but you will need to replace the OEM folder from ITA HP ROM (possibly merge with files from WWE ROM if ITA does not available with latest fixes), replace all 0409 in SYS with the corresponding ITA MUIs

I'm just playing with your kitchen and italian MUI (and I'm now recovering my phone from a brick ;-) ) .... should I replace the 409 files with ITA ones and keep the original name (i.e.: about_0409.htm should be changed to about_0410.htm or it mantains its name?)

you are really replacing the 0409 folders with 0XXX folder (XXX is ITA folder). Also in addition to replacing OEM with 91x you also have to change the TEMPLATE.ROM to a 91x ROM in ROM folder(just rename the desired 91x flash.dio you want to use to TEMPLATE.ROM, the TEMPLATE.ROM will decide what xip your ROM will have) file

I used the 0409 MUIs from the LEO ROM and have it working fine on my Raphael. Here's the OBOE RSSHub 2.1.2 package with the LEO MUIs i used in my kitchen. HTH
